Description
SightAid is free to use. Doesn't have any purchases/subscriptions.
SightAid helps blind and low-vision users understand their surroundings through sound, speech, and haptic feedback.
The app includes two simple modes - that can be switched by simply shaking the phone:
Light Sense, which uses the camera to estimate the brightness of the environment. And gives feedback by vibration and sound.
Proximity, which helps detect nearby obstacles and announces distance feedback out loud and via vibrations.
SightAid is designed for quick, accessible awareness in everyday situations, whether checking if a room is bright, locating a light source, or sensing nearby objects.
