Description
Whispr turns your Apple Watch into a live remote mic for your iPhone.
Wear your Watch, talk (or whisper, or sing), and Whispr plays it live on your iPhone — through the speaker, AirPods, or connected Bluetooth audio. No recording. No saving. No sharing. Just live sound, wrist to phone.
What it's for
A tiny personal PA: park your iPhone nearby or connect a Bluetooth speaker and your wrist becomes the microphone.
A one-way walkie-talkie to your own setup — call the kids to dinner from the garage, hand off the iPhone with AirPods to a friend and chat to them.
A pure novelty Dick-Tracy moment. (Hold up your wrist. Say something. Smile.)
Designed to be honest
Live audio only — Whispr never records or saves anything.
Audio stays between your Watch and your paired iPhone — nothing goes online.
Works with the iPhone speaker by default. AirPods and Bluetooth speakers work too — Whispr quietly picks the cleanest playback mode for whichever you're using.
A few real-world notes
Whispr uses Apple's Watch ↔ iPhone link. It's great for casual use but it isn't a low-latency studio link. Expect a small delay.
For best live sound, use the iPhone speaker, AirPods, or Bluetooth.
Range is whatever your Watch and iPhone normally manage together.
The Whispr app needs to stay open on your Watch while it's streaming — leave the screen on (raise to wake) so the session keeps running.
If your iPhone is locked when you tap the Watch mic, your iPhone will ring just like an incoming call — accept to start listening.
Not a hearing aid, not an amplifier, not a recorder. Whispr is a small playful utility — it doesn't boost faint sounds for you, it just plays whatever your Watch hears live on your iPhone, full stop.
