Anky turns your phone into a gate: the apps that eat your attention stay locked until you write. Not a form, not a mood check-in — real writing. No backspace, no editing, no feed to perform for. You write forward, and when you stop for 8 seconds, the session ends.
HOW THE GATE WORKS
Choose the apps that pull at you. When you reach for one, Anky — the small blue companion you'll see everywhere — holds the door: "Write with me first."
A few honest words earn a Quick Pass — a short 15 minute opening, three per day.
Reaching your personal daily target unlocks your apps for the rest of the day.
You set the target yourself, from 1 to 8 minutes. It is a floor, never a ceiling — the timer never cuts you off, and your seconds never stop counting.
An emergency unlock is always there: a 30-second breathing exercise opens everything, free, no writing required. Anky is a companion, not a warden.
THE PRACTICE
This is stream-of-consciousness writing the way it was meant to be: forward only. What comes out is yours — unpolished, honest, alive. After a complete session Anky reflects back a small piece of clarity drawn from what you actually wrote.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No login. No email. Your writing lives on your device, tied to an anonymous local identity. Nobody reads your words unless you ask for a reflection — and even then, they are never used to train anything and never shown to anyone. After processing the server deletes everything.

The gate, quick passes, and the emergency breath are free. Always. No writing feature is ever held hostage.

Writing to unlock your apps for the whole day requires Anky Unlocked, an auto-renewable subscription: $88.00/year includes a 3-day free trial or $11.99/month. Prices may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase; the yearly plan charges when the 3-day trial ends unless cancelled at least 24 hours before. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The writing gate, quick passes, and emergency unlock are free — no subscription required.
