GPS for Action streams real-time GPS coordinates from your iPhone to your
DJI Osmo Action or Osmo 360 camera over Bluetooth — so every video
and photo is automatically geotagged without any extra hardware,
mounts, or subscriptions.

HOW IT WORKS
Open the app, connect to your camera via Bluetooth, and tap Stream.
Your iPhone's GPS location is sent to the camera in real time. The
camera embeds the coordinates directly into the video metadata — the
same way a built-in GPS module would.
No Wi-Fi, no cloud, no account. Everything happens on-device.
CAMERA CONTROLS
Control your camera right from the app without switching devices:
Start and stop video recording
Switch between Photo, Video, and Slow-Motion modes
Trigger photo capture
AUTO-RECORD
Set the app to start and stop recording automatically based on your
motion:
Movement detection — recording begins when you start moving
Descent detection — ideal for ski runs, bike descents, or hikes
Ascent detection — perfect for lifts, climbs, or uphill segments
The camera starts rolling when the action begins and stops when you
pause, so you never miss a moment and never waste storage.
GPS TRACK RECORDING
Every session is saved as a GPX file on your iPhone. Import tracks
into any mapping app, share them with friends, or analyze your route
after the fact.
PRIVACY FIRST
The app never connects to the internet. Your location data stays on
your iPhone and is transmitted only to your camera over a direct
Bluetooth connection. No account, no login, no server.
