Throwback to old Christendom
I've always wanted to pray the Angelus but never could remember. This app has helped me immensely in remembering when to say it and the bells are a throwback to days of old when the church bells would ring out and call all to prayer.
Helps With Consistency
I could never pull off the three-times-a-day custom without this app! I don’t get the app’s notification when my phone is using Apple Car Play. I would welcome the Angelus app overriding whatever music I’m streaming at the time if I’m driving. Sometimes I notice what time it is after the proper time and go womp, womp womp. I’m nonetheless deeply grateful for the app and its easy-to-use features!

Lovely and Useful
Since churches no longer ring their bells and I live in a very rural area with only cows and such, no churches, this is so helpful. Even if I’m grocery shopping, I’ll stop where I am and say the Agelus. I get some strange looks but I don’t care, I’m honoring our Blessed Mother, who I’ll never be ashamed of honoring.
Prayer reminded
Love the prayer reminder
