Don’t bother
Seriously! Played today for an hour. Spent more time watching forced ads than actual play time. If you like ads then this is a game for you. Idea is great. Game play (What there was of it) is pretty slick. But forced ads every 5 mins or so. Not so much.
False advertising and AI
Ad that seemed to be made with AI claimed there would be no forced ads in game. That was a lie. Got a forced ad after about 5 minutes.
Loved the game but now stuck

I like the game it’s a lot of fun. The problem is there are I would say at least 60 to 70% more ads the ones that stopped your gameplay in this game than any other I’ve ever played. I don’t be grudge the company for making money. It’s great but there’s just way too many and they’re all very long ads it ruins the fun

They advertise as having no ads or in app purchases (which I know is generally a lie when they say that). There is an ad just about every minute! Makes it very frustrating to play. The game is actually good but the ads are ridiculous!!
Decent storyline and expeditions
Ads are no more frequent than any other similar game of this genre so that appears to be resolved. Good gameplay, storyline and characters. Just waiting on updates for new expeditions and areas. Looking forward to it.

I downloaded this game because there ad says no ads, unfortunately 2 minutes into the game I was hit with a forced ad. I do understand you may need ads but what I don’t understand is why lie about it.

Afraid of the dark survival team is my favourite game after I mean favourite game and last one ever On The cooked up after the dark is my favourite and last game ever this is the best game ever. I wouldn’t know what I would do if I never had this game, so the best game I’ve ever had.
The ad in other games says no ads
There are tons of ads to play this game, don’t believe what they say, it’s 10 bucks to remove ads which is significantly more than other similar games, don’t believe fooled, find something else

This company makes many games… They had me with Squad Alpha which was a blast until they bailed on the game… After Dark was fun for a day or two if your doing something else like watching TV or watching grass grow. The ads are horrendous. Every 2-3 minutes an ad pops up and if ur in an area where ur killing monsters, when you come back you start that area over. You can buy gems and or coins to increase your hero, but you can’t buy out of the ads. I put money into Sqaud Alpha and had some fun. I’m sure there are plenty of people that will feed this company money as I did for 1 specific game. Save ur money, get a console system, try Steam, or go to Apple Arcade. $10-$20 dollars for a game you may enjoy and has a repeat value is much more rewarding in my opinion. Plus it is a lot cheaper than giving companies like SayGames more money…. Do your research, use AI, find something that you can play over and over without spending $100’s of dollars and risking the chance the company bails on the game and you ! As always, YMMV… Good Luck..

Good Game, FALSE ADVERTISING
As stated this game is actually pretty good. I have no problem with that however, when an advertisement from another game that I play states ” this will be the last advertisement you see hear us out, when you play this game there will be absolutely ZERO advertisements”. I cannot stand false advertising. It is irritating and annoying. And then once you’re in game, they have the audacity to charge you $9.99 just to get rid of the auto-ads that pop-up. I will say, however, the gameplay is exactly as advertise the mechanics of the game aren’t bad, but that’s all this game is getting for me. I have already uninstalled this game and I am very disappointed
No sound in game
Game has nice graphics and good story. But there is no sound of any kind, and I feel like I am just going through 4 worlds fighting same enemies and bosses, fixing the same broken doors walking through the same areas. It feels like walking in the circles. Can you update sound for the game and definitely make more worlds and new bosses and enemies? At the start game was exciting to play but when you start to go through same things over and over again on top of no sound effects and music …. It starts to ve boring. You need a major update on your game . But as I said game has nice graphics! Keep up the good job when updating the game!

Super fun game!
Repetitive
After a fairly short story, the entire game seems to be “defeat Kong” expedition followed by “defeat Kukullen (spelling approximate” expedition, rinse and repeat ad nauseum. There’s no story, just walking through the same two levels over and over again. I keep looking online to see if any reviews can show me I’ve missed something big, but all the game play videos, etc, just show either the opening story, or one of the two “expeditions”.

Misleading ads/no sound
I downloaded this game after seeing an ad which claimed 100% FREE, NO ADS, no wifi …not only are there absolutely forced ads, it’s “on sale” for 12.99 CAD to remove them, on top of also having no in game sound. None. It’s not a glitch or an issue with the players (look at all the other reviews). It’s the game itself. There’s a good chunk of game immersion gone. So you want me to spend $13 to remove ads from an as advertised “ad free” game without even any sound?! Cmon. Most games which are more immersive and have sound, charge 6-9$to remove ads OR offer challenges to get ad free for a period of time. Either stick to what you hook people in with, or don’t make false ad promises. With reviews like these, it’s not gonna help gain new players. Only claim that seems to be legit is no wifi needed 🙄 Gameplay itself is decently smooth, not challenging - basic. Would give 3.5-4 stars if ads were removed, sounds were added and there was a bit more of an in depth story line (there’s basically none given at the moment)
UGHH
I need to upgrade my pickaxe but it won’t let me into the level to get glass shards. I’ve hard closed and reopened the app and still no fix. It’s been this way for at least two weeks now. Any advice? I really like this game but I’m frustrated because I literally can’t move forward in the game without upgrading my pickaxe.

This app never had sound from the first day I downloaded it. I finally decided to uninstall to see if that could fix it since emailing the developer did nothing. Now I have no sound, paid for no adds, which have full sound but now, I have to start completely over with NO SOUND.
