Fun game
It’s a pretty fun game actually. One of those games that you can do in an awkward situation or where you’re bored but can’t spend too long doing something because of time. It saves your progress in levels, doesn’t pester you with ads after each level, and doesn’t force you to go through tutorials for each item you can use. The only downside is when I first tried to use a tool, the little description in gave me was in Chinese (I think), which wasn’t a big issue because I learned what it was fairly quickly. The only thing I wish you could do was permanently buy (or buy for a few rounds) the extra ribbon holders you need ads or coins for. It was also great that it didn’t start off with the really easy stuff you just breeze through (minus the first level, but it’s clearly supposed to be so you learn what to do). Would highly recommend!
Waste of time
Such a terrible game, it makes me made that you never get the color you actually need, so you have to watch a bunch of ads or your progress for that level with be restarted because you die….
Stopped working at level 65
I really love this game but right after I finished level 64 I paid for no ads and now my game will not load the next level. This is very upsetting and if the game isn’t going to work then I want my money back.

Pay To Win
It doesn’t take long for levels in this game to become impossible to solve without spending money or time watching ads on powerups. It’s a shame because the game is fun but it’s scummy to make unbeatable levels just to push micro purchases so it’s a no go for me.
What happened?
I had over 90 of each of the boosters. They disappeared today and I PAID for those. There is no email to contact someone for app support.

App freezes
Fun & challenging game, however I have had to delete and reinstall several times now. The game says “loading “ but nothing ever happens. Frustrating and will permanently delete if this keeps happening.

私はレベル129までいったのですが、ある日、レベルを押してもその日以降からずっとプレイすることができなくなってしまいました。いろいろ試した結果、一回アプリを消したらまたプレイすることができました。 このようなことが起こらないように対処してほしいものです。
Bait and Switch - SKIP IT!!
Like all of these games (Screw Jam, Wool Jam, etc) it starts off fun and fairly easy, but soon you have to watch ads EVERY. SINGLE. LEVEL to open extra spots or get a second chance. This one starts far earlier than other apps (like level 10) They’re full 60 seconds ads, on repeat. One can use in game coins to continue or buy an extra slot, but again, like all the others, the coins awarded per level are PITIFUL! I know all these games are created to make money for the devs, but when you spend more time watching ads than playing the game, it’s far more Irritating than entertaining. Just once it would be great if they cared about providing a fun experience as they do lining their pockets. It’s not a new concept, it took zero time to develop.

doesn’t save progress
if you close the app while solving a puzzle, it doesn’t save your progress. it gets stuck on a loading screen. i had to delete the app and redownload it and it’s making me solve the puzzle from the beginning. this is ridiculous.

レベルのボタンを押すとロード中が続きプレイ画面に入れません。 他の人も同じ事象が発生してるようなので何かして下さい。 play自体は難易度のバランスが良く楽しいです。テープを剥がす音も好きです。ずっと無課金で出来るし広告も比較的短いものが多いので時間潰しには大変良いです。もうすぐレベル500に到達します。
Great but Glitched
Love the game until I got to level 98 - now you try to start the level and it freezes on the loading screen. Sat my phone down for 15 mins and it still wouldn’t load. There are no updates available and I’ve tried reinstalling. It just crashed.

まずめちゃくちゃ面白くて一生やってます。 アイテムや広告を見ないとクリアできないとおっしゃっている方が何人かいますが、全然そんなことありません。見えないところとかは運とかもありますけど、繰り返し同じステージやっていればどの順番で剥がせばいいかなんとなくわかってきます。今528レベルですが、アイテムめっちゃ余ってます。 あと広告に関しては似たようなゲームと比べたら良心的だと思いますよ。他のゲームはプレイの途中に挟まったりして、アンインストールすることが多かったですが、このゲームはクリアしたら流れる仕組みなので、流れるタイミングも急に出てくる訳じゃないので私はあまりストレス感じてないです。 スタミナ制でもないので私はすごくやりやすいです。 そして運営さん(；；)ローディングが永遠に終わらなくてプレイできません(；；)修正お願いします(；；)禁断症状でます(；；)

No pressure!
Yes the levels are hard, but there’s no lives you have to worry about. It’s challenging which I love so I don’t get bored. No timer, no limits to how many retries u get, cute collectables, no cooldowns. Just playing a game!
L game
Thought it would be another fun color game as I’ve played sooo many, I know it’s not a skill issue since there’s a few reviews saying the same thing, but it never gives you the color you need so you literally HAVE to watch an ad or more to win and the adds are 2-3 minutes long and repetitive, I tried to put up with it because this genuinely could’ve been a great game but no, I just deleted it.

Untape Jam is Amazing! It’s a totally fresh take on the “unspooling” yarn game model that’s so popular, and that I’m a Huge fan of. It’s fun, challenging, and totally original. Plus, the necessary ads are minimal and short yay!!

bruh literally starting at level two it's like the game refuses to give you boxes in the color you need so you HAVE to watch an ad or risk losing it's too bad bc this is a cute take on color sorting games

Puzzles cannot be solved
After a certain level, puzzles become impossible to solve without powerups. I tried playing the same label multiple times and found that they purposely make it impossible to solve. Up until then I was enjoying the game, but about 10 levels in, it becomes not fun. Not because it’s challenging, cause I do like a challenge. But because it’s impossible. There weren’t many ads so I didn’t give 1 star. The game is otherwise good.

Can’t win without watching VERY long ads
This could be very fun but you can’t beat the levels without watching one or more ads. What makes it even more annoying is that the ads are often well over two minutes long! If they limited the ads to 30 seconds like many other games do, I might keep this game but I’m deleting it now.

so….. game concept is good. BUT TELL ME WHY almost every level i have to watch an ad to be able to not fail. it’s almost like the reason why it has no ads is so you can watch ads to be able to play without failing…. it spawns in colors that are boarderline impossible with only 2 unless you restart it like 5 times. deleted.
Not fun, just frustrating
I can’t give one star because I don’t think I’ve had a single pop-up ad since I downloaded the game. However, I’m only on level 30 or so because it’s impossible to win. About 75% of the way through a puzzle you’ll have to remove a piece of tape to get to the color you need, and you can just tell that it’s about to throw five more pieces in that color at you. More often than not I will get down to the last three spools and won’t be able to complete it because there’s one piece of tape in the way. As the other reviews say, it wants you to watch an ad to unlock a new slot and continue. I haven’t done this yet but it takes 10 times as many tries as it should. It’s not rewarding, it’s purely luck based and it’s frustrating.
