FarmersConnect is an initiative championed by the Ministry of Agriculture and aligned with the Government of Guyana’s strategic vision for enhanced service delivery. The primary objectives are to provide farmers with a centralized digital platform for accessing key information and services for farmers, such as weather updates, advisories, market prices, extension services, and good farming practices. Collectively, these capabilities leverage cutting-edge technology such as generative-AI to support the transformation of the Ministry of Agriculture toward a more responsive, efficient, and service-centric operational model.
