Instead of tracing routes manually, you set the distance and dial in the personality of the ride: how punchy the climbing should be, whether you want straight or twisty roads, busy or quiet, paved or gravel, and more. Route Studio combines those preferences with detailed road and surface data to generate routes that feel intentional, varied, and genuinely interesting.
Your route becomes the destination. Every time you generate, you can explore a new way out the door, whether that’s a fast local loop, a long scenic day on curvy back roads, or a point-to-point adventure between two nearby pins that somehow turns into a perfect 100-mile route.
Under the hood, Route Studio runs on a large computing platform that searches across massive areas (from your neighborhood to an entire region or state), balancing multiple metrics to build routes that match your preferences: scenery, elevation, road type, surface (paved vs. gravel), traffic levels, curvature, and more. The result is a route that feels deliberate and perfectly tuned throughout.
