Description
RacquetTuner uses advanced audio analysis to measure your racquet string tension instantly. Simply tap your strings and get accurate readings in seconds.
Perfect for tennis, badminton, squash, and racquetball players who want to maintain peak racquet performance and know exactly when to restring.
ACCURATE STRING TENSION MEASUREMENT
RacquetTuner analyzes the sound frequency produced when you tap your strings to calculate tension with precision. The app detects changes as small as 0.1 kg (0.2 lb), giving you reliable data you can trust.
The measurement is based on proven physics: string vibration frequency is directly related to tension. Higher tension produces higher frequency sounds, and our algorithm converts this into accurate tension values.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Select your racquet and sport type
2. Tap the center of your string bed
3. View instant tension reading with accuracy indicator
4. Save measurements to track tension loss over time

WHY MEASURE STRING TENSION
String tension drops immediately after stringing and continues to decrease with play. After two months, strings typically lose half their initial tension. This affects:
Shot control and accuracy
Power and ball speed
Spin generation
Comfort and arm health
Regular tension monitoring helps you maintain consistent performance and decide the optimal time to restring.

ACCURACY NOTE
RacquetTuner provides reliable relative measurements for tracking tension changes over time. For best results, tap consistently in the center of the string bed and ensure no dampeners are attached during measurement.
