Description

Stand up and move your arms. The game moves with you.

Immersive Workout is a set of games you play with your body instead of your thumbs. You point your phone camera at yourself, throw the game up on your TV, and then you are the controller. No pad, no wristband, nothing to hold. You move, and it reads your whole body doing it.

The first game is the flappy one. You flap your arms to keep a little bird in the air, squeeze through the gaps, and go again when you eat a pipe. Sounds easy. Your shoulders will disagree after a few rounds.

The flap game is just where we started. The whole thing is built around real movement like arms up, knees up, ducking, reaching. That means the games can be about doing actual stuff instead of waggling a controller. More are coming, and they all use the same setup, so you never have to rebuild your living room to play something new.

Getting going takes about a minute. Prop the phone up so it can see you. Send it to your Apple TV, and we show you how the first time. Step back until your body is in the frame. Move to start. No TV free? Play the whole thing on the phone.

The tracking runs on your phone using Apple's own motion tracking, and it reads your full body, not only your hands. None of it leaves the device. No login, no profile to fill in, no account to connect. Wear whatever. Play wherever there is floor.

It is the closest thing to a workout that does not feel like one. Play on your own, or pass the phone around and argue about who is actually better at flapping.

Clear some space and give it a go.
