Very fun
Played a lot of mobile games and this one doesn’t make you feel like you have to pay to win. You definitely can lol but the character events and what they give you for daily participation is pretty good compared to other games

Decent Game Ruined By Ads And Bugs
Decent art and gameplay compared to the other clones. Most ads are optional but some ads are forced on you after completing a level, which is simply unacceptable considering how many ads you already have to go through just to do your dailies (we're talking double digits every day). I could actually tolerate that much, but the final straw that made me leave this review is that I got an ad that failed to load properly and it crashed my game and automatically made me lose the level I was on. I thought it was a one-time glitch, but unfortunately it is a recurring issue. If you're going to bother playing this game to kill some time, at least don't spend any money on it. There is no permanent way to get rid of all the ads forever even if you pay millions of dollars - they only offer overpriced "Skip Ad Tickets" and the amount you have will always be finite. The exchange rate for real money to the amount of tickets you get is nothing short of a spit in the face.

Frozen screens
Very fun game. Didn’t have many issues until after level 150. The screen started freezing and I had to restart a multiple times when I was about to win.
What happened??
There are SO many ads now. If you’re going to force ads after every run whether we want to double our rewards or not, just give us the rewards or get rid of those ads. I’ll either only play this game on airplane mode, if it works, or delete it altogether. This is really disappointing. I genuinely really liked playing this game.

This game straight lies to you
At first I had fun with this game but it’s pretty clear now that the way to obtain Mythic Heroes via Limited Recruitment is intentionally not working as described. The game itself states in the Probability Rates for the Limited Recruitment that after 32 failed attempts, the 33rd pull guarantees a Mythic Hero. Another thing is that if you pull a Mythic Hero before that, the counter resets; this is pretty standard with mobile games with gacha mechanics. Now something you should be aware of is that there are Hero Essences and Hero Shards - you need to pull the Hero Essence to deploy the unit while Hero Shards are for upgrading them. As a new player, you also get a choice on your first Mythic Hero - I can say from experience that I received my first 2 Mythic Heroes this way. My choice selection was Flame Dance (basically Mai Shiranui from King of Fighters) and Sky-Splitting Wing (in honesty, MUCH better than Flame Dance). When you pull a Mythic Hero Essence from the Limited Recruitment banner, you can exchange it in the Shard Exchange for 15 Hero Shards, which lets you upgrade them and at first, I thought this was pretty generous since usually that’s what gacha games will let you do once you pull their dupes. However, this stopped working - since then, I’ve pulled A-Tan (Tanjirou from Demon Slayer?) and Deadly Formula (The Joker) and…they don’t unlock. Instead I have Shards for upgrading them whenever I “unlock” them. When it happened got A-Tan, I was completely confused as he didn’t even show up in my roster - not even with his icon avatar with a lock symbol over it, which they do now from I assume is from a newer update. But then it happened again when I pulled Deadly Formula and I checked the roster to see I only have Shards for him. Now, I can accept that maybe the game can just have you pull Shards instead of a Hero Essence - it might be misleading, but I suppose it prevents new players from buying their way to an early mega strong team since Mythic Heroes are supposed to be OP (even if there’s no PvP). Most players would already be upset about that, and it’s whatever; what I can’t accept though is that receiving Mythic Shards will also reset your counter! I checked with other reviews and saw people complaining about buying Star Medals, which is what you use to pull on Limited Banners, and getting Shards instead of Essences, and that it’s misleading. However, the game specifically states you’ll obtain a Mythic Hero on your 33 pull - of course, I can concede that if you pull the same hero, you’ll just get/convert to shards to upgrade your hero. But when you pull a new hero, only get shards and the game counts it as pulling the hero and resets the counter? That’s not misleading - that’s just lying! And one major criticism is also the ads - I get it, you need ads to generate revenue, or offer a subscription/bundle pack for people to buy into to keep your game going, and you deserve to make some money for putting out a quality game. And I will say this is one of the more quality tower defense type games, but the ads are excessively long. Other games will let you skip ads after 5-10 seconds; for Dragon Fever TD though, you’re watching MINUTES of ads PER AD. Between watching ads for revivals and upgrade option refreshes, you could be playing a stage for half an hour! Having such a long “break” in-between each revival/upgrade refresh, it just takes all the fun away. It’s such a shame the developers had to take such a scummy approach to make money and I would suggest just not touching the game if you’re gonna have fun and then just have the fun drained from you.
Great game, not great pass system
The gameplay is exactly what you’d expect from the description. It’s very enjoyable. Unfortunately, every update makes the game”forget” that I’ve purchased passes. The restore purchases button fails too.

How do I unlock essence for chromatic heroes , absolute zero and hua mulan? It does not show me options in limited recruitment

다 좋은데 업데이트가 이상하네요 친구랑 같이 하는데 저는 이벤트가 뜨는데 친구는 이벤트 하다가 3일 남겨두고 사라지더니 이번엔 저한테 안 뜨는 이벤트가 친구한테만 뜨네요 그래도 같은 게임인데 아이폰 갤럭시 이벤트 업데이트 좀 맞춰주세요ㅠㅠ
Fix Bugs
You have to watch ads every 30 seconds, now after you get forced to watch an ad game crashes eating up all of your resources. Sent bug in 3 times still nothing.
Loved the game before the latest patch
I really enjoyed playing this game over others in this style for the last couple months , until this latest patch. I enjoyed the new UI upgrades, what I don’t like is before you didn’t have to watch any ads unless you wanted to, I will admit that I watched plenty of them, they were optional. Now whenever you fail/win a campaign you are REQUIRED to watch a Ad. This is something that is a dealbreaker for me. To the Devs, you had a great game, why did you do this ????

Love the game. It’s very addicting and I’m at stage 110 by now. (Started playing a week ago) so I decided to buy the $10 pass to unlock all characters and keep grinding for fun. Unfortunately, the rewards are only shards, not the essence of the character. I feel this was a bit misleading but I attribute it to translation, not bad faith. It was unfortunate because none of the rewards from the pass were useful to me since there was no essence. Also please please please bring down the mob carpet cooldown back to 6 seconds. It’s just more fund that way instead of 30
Scam, don’t buy anything
I went to buy the main story battle pass for $9.99. It charged me $52.21. I’m attempting to get my money back… and then I am getting banned. This kind of scam shouldn’t be allowed. I enjoyed the game and now I won’t be able to play. EDIT: They have attempted to charge an additional $16.28 to my card. Guys don’t buy anything from this game it’s gonna steal your info.

Battle is designed in such a way that you HAVE to watch at least 3 ads to fight if you don't want to spend money. The levels are impossible to beat without either spending real money or watching tons of ads. The design is cute, and the battle is fun once it starts rolling, but getting there is a chore.
Latest update
For the most part the update is good, but now I’m forced to watch ads at the end of a level. Why give an option to double rewards for watching an ad if you’re gonna force one on us anyway?

was having a good time plaything this game. i even bought the permanent Ad skip pack. after the update they have forced un-skippable Ads when beating a main stage level. i deleted the game and instantly regret spending money on here. do not download. waste of time and money

Update ruined the game
They recently changed all my favourite hero’s, Molotov and venom and a few others. Ended up making the game worse and impossible. Will not be playing this again after like a year of playing.
Fun but lost all progress
See a common theme many other. While the game can be fun if you can handle the constant ads. If you upgrade your phone you lose all your progress and there doesn’t seem to be anyway to get it back.

Addicted and fun but 2 times I’ve gotten chromatic hero’s and do not appear in my inventory. I don’t know if it’s a bug but it’s very annoying when you pay.
Fun but buggy ads
What is a fun little idle game becomes frustrating every few days when it keeps trying to show you the same ad that hangs the game and essentially stops any progress or ability to play. Today it’s a Sephora ad, a week ago it was something else.
My kind of game.
Charming, and fun. Smart character building will get you further than you may think. It needs a cloud save system so we can go between multiple devices. I enjoy Dragon Fever TD a whole lot, and I think you should give it a go.
Progress doesnt port over with new device
Honestly been really enjoy the game and even spent money on it but when i just recently upgrade my phone to a new one it treats it like ive never played the game before. I cant find anyway to tie it to my existing account or anything like you can in other such games. “Restore purchases” doesnt even do anything either.

You let me down
I’ve been playing and enjoying this game for quite a while now, but this last update you changed the cooldown timer on the arcane abilities? Waiting like 30 seconds for the carpet bomb has gone from “oh I earned this power and now I’m rewarded” to “oh you thought this was going to help? Nah. Get bent”. I’ve spent money on several things and really liked coming back to play every day, but this is creating a wall I will not be paying to climb over. Please fix it.
Ads problem
The game is fun yes, it’s addicting but some ppl Dont rlly like to spend money nor watch ads and this game sometimes I have to watch a lot of ads just to pass stage or have to upgrade my characters which I’ve did all I could the only other options are to pay with money or having to watch ads constantly mid round
Best In It’s Class
This game is only 4 months old, looking at the update log, and it’s already better than all the rest in this style. I’ve been playing Cell Survivor which is exactly what this game is except with viruses. But this game does what that game does but waaaaayy better. Cute characters, goofy little goober sneks, animations are fluid and on point, the tiny details they put in the design are top notch. This will be the sole game of this genre that I will be playing, for real. I do have one question for the devs, since I see they respond to reviews, the monster that’s shown before you go into the level, what is that? Cuz it’s not the goofy goober snek I will kill. Is that the AFK monster your tikes fight when you are, well, afk?
Reset
This game cleared all my progress twice randomly. Maybe if they fix that issue I might give it another try.

Too many ads
I want to love this game, but it pushes too many ads. Please give us an option to permanently remove all ads. The current ad ticket system is terrible.

This game is good for what it is. However, the ads really take away from the full enjoyment of the game. RNG is atrocious and when you want to switch or claim all, watch an ad. Don’t like your new choices? Ads again. Sometimes it takes 20 min of watching ads to complete one stage.
Add new bosses
I don’t know why people are complaining about not being able to best the tutorial it worked for me, I do wish they had unlimited ad bypass, tickets are kinda annoying, add more bosses and abilities as well
Not fun
At first they make it seem easy to progress but by the time you hit stage 5 you’re already stuck from advancing because of the seemingly impossible ramp up in difficulty. Don’t waste your time
