Surprised!
Unbelievably accurate with the stamps that I tested it on. I already knew the information, in detail, and the app was dead on! plus the additional info about year(s) produced, history, variations and other details was extremely helpful. I really thought this app was click bait and would be ridiculous…… I was wrong! Well worth the money!!! Thank you!

Has potential but could be better.
No way to organize stamps that are in your collection which is the biggest let down. Stamp identifying is not always accurate. Will scan the same stamp multiple times and get a different price value each time so cannot trust.
Save as file
There needs to be a way to save to a spreadsheet.

My only wish is that the app can alphabetize the entries.
Not accurate
I can scan the same stamp 5 times and get a different information each time. Once it told me a stamp was worth $2,000,000-$3,000,000. I scanned it again and it was worth $1.50
Terrific application!
I feel guilty using it for free … it is telling me all about these foreign stamps my mom collected as a child 100 years ago. I’m getting them out of glassine envelopes into collector notebook pages. Very accurate with historical background and notes. Thanks! I may get the premium edition.

Are you kidding me!
I was having fun with this app and it told me I had one of the rarest stamps in the world worth 4 million dollars. I was losing my mind!!! I scanned it again, it was with .50-5.00. Way to give me a heart attack!!
Very helpful
Love the app but definitely wish they had a market where you could share and sell! Also does not value new unused stamps, plate blocks and things like that. Great for identifying and learning about the stamp though. Overall great value. I’m going to get my collection valued by a professional and see how close these are compared to what an expert will say. Hopefully there values are close but we will see!
PhilSnap review
There are issues with identifying the stamps, I scanned one stamp 6 times and I got different descriptions each time. Many descriptions are incorrect. This does not give any way to sort the stamps in the collection. With that many inaccurate errors, I wonder how valid the value would be. The advertising shows an ability to sell but that is a misrepresentation of what the app actually does. I hope they improve this site.
Limited but interesting
This app has some interesting potential. You can scan a large number of stamps in a hurry and get a reasonable idea of what you own. For some reason in certain time periods or when the stamp is faded or obscured by a cancellation the app has a hard time making a positive identification. In my British collection, it has a really hard time telling the difference between Victoria and George V. The app has no reasonable mechanism for organizing a large collection. Countries are only searchable if they appear in the title assigned by the app. I have four separate collections and they can’t be catalogued separately. They just all get thrown into the same general soup. There also should be a way of modifying a search. For example, if the stamp is Queen Victoria, and the search comes up with George V, I should be able to type in “No, Victoria” and have it modify the search. This is evidently not too difficult to do since several apps that I have for other collectibles allow such modifications. Keep trying!

I scanned a few stamps that came up hundreds and thousands of $. I scanned again and it drops to 1-to 5 dollars

So far it’s doing a decent job. If the stamp has a cancellation mark it has trouble getting it right.

Helpful
This app is a god send . I inherited a stamp collection and have sat down time and time again to try and understand my stamps value, and condition, etc only to end up time after time more confused, aggravated and ready to just say forget it that is until this app . Thanks to this app I understand my stamp’s importance and value and have even sold a few. Easy to understand and takes out all the guess work. I’m so grateful I downloaded and tried it out i give it 5 out of 5 !!
Confidently Wrong
The app falsely identifies stamps regularly even with good lighting and a blank white background. You can get a different result for the same stamp over and over again. The chat/ai assistant feature will confidently lie to you about stamp information over and over. I "appraised" over 600 stamps with the philsnap app, and every expert I have approached with the information I have gathered from this app has said the information is incorrect. If you use this app and it tells you that your stamps are worth money, please get a second opinion from even a simple google search before wasting time and embarrassing yourself taking to experts who will laugh at you for believing what this app says.
Missing print out options
The major thing that’s missing from this app is the ability to print out my list of stamp stamps. That would go a long way to completing this app.
Value
Not great at determining whether value - they give you a wide range - not a single value, as advertised. If you scan the same stamp 3 times, you get different pricing. One rare blue ben Franklin was 2-4 million and was scanned again for $75.
Corrections
Many stamps that are in mint condition are rated as used and good condition. Corrections need to be made constantly and those do not seem to register to the stamps. Need to be able to assign stamps to collections or classes on the fly. It will be really inconvenient to go back thru after photographing 1000s of stamps to reclass or assign to country collections.

Genuinely shocked at how insistent & pestering this app is. It is constantly offering things that obstruct functionality, even impeding actual purchases. Really lost the plot with this yall
Good app has more potential
I love this but wish I could share my collection to sell or trade.
Could be better
The good:very easy to use. The bad: only values in US Dollars. no Sort or Filter functionality. For example, it tells you the countries you have scanned the stamps from, but you can’t sort or filter them. Ok for valuation but useless as a catalogue.
It’s not all that
It seems to be giving just general ideas and prices. Nothing special doesn’t tell you any of the specialty stamps.
Must have for philatelists
A great tool to keep track of your collection, some great insight on single or bunched stamps.
Inaccurate identification
I was using this app with the total confidence until it started giving me completely different identities for the same stamp. Crossed referenced with other research and neither of the identities were accurate! Complete waste of time!
Suggestions
I like this app and the IDs are generally pretty good. I can’t tell, though, whether this is it or whether there will be other upgrades. For example, there is no way to organize by country or see if you have duplicates and it does not seem like there is any way to export the data. If there are upgrades forthcoming, then this is a good product, but if this is it, then it is very limited. Hoping for additional features.
It’s a good scanner but all I need is the beautiful image you produce.
This is an app for a beginner. I need something that produces a beautiful image which yours does, but that then allows me to use that image to assess colour changes / paper used / plate numbers. I do not need the generic stuff

Easy to use
I found my stamp collection from my youth. I want to sell the collection to go towards my son’s hockey.
Don’t Bother
I took photos of 2 different stamps multiple times every time it came back with a completely different value for each of the two stamps. One time it says it’s worth 1 million dollars the next it’s 5-20 then 1,000-1,500 it’s not worth your time.
Distractions
Your app is good. I suggest you to train your AI in to fronts: 1- to experience more similar stamps, especially old faded ones for gets lost and give us varias description. Especially old European kings in similar stamps. 2- digest you to tying it to filter heavy mail or blurred cancelation stamps, generally partially hidden faces. Your AI should be trained in picking up more hints in those stamps for a more accurate description. PS: I ‘ve got myself that the app was not recognized a given series correctly. What I did si put a written him by the stamp ( example Spain/ King Felipe lI) and after a few pics it started to ID that series correctly. Cordially SdM PPS / I logged 4.625 stamps.

I haven't tried it yet but I'm hoping for the best prepare for the only tell me a few face values then make me pay for it to see them again!
Excellent Stamp Identification App
Fantastic app! It's easy to use, accurately identifies stamps, and provides reliable value estimates. Customer service was quick to respond, honest, fair, and very helpful. I highly recommend PhilStamp to anyone interested in stamp collecting or selling.
Needs work
Bought it thinking I could scan a page of stamps like they show in the video. Nope. Single stamp at a time and I’m not really learning anything about quality, positioning p, edges and so on. So quick update. Devs left a pointless response. Good news though as I have moved on to using an overhead page scanner combined with AI to identify a page at a time.

Good but missing a few functions
Valuations are all in USD, no options to change currency preference. No filters therefore you can’t choose to list in country or value order. No means to export data either, hard to organise.
