- Sounds too digital for real production
- Randomize changes presets instead of parameters
Another home run by Analog Matthew
App says Audiokit pro, I click buy. End of story. You should do the same if you want the best sounding synths on the App Store. Like Pokémon… Gotta collect them all!
arp not synced
the midi sync toggle has no effect. sad this wasn’t thoroughly tested before release
Randomise
Love the sounds but the last time I used it, the randomise feature just changes to a different preset rather than randomising the parameters for some crazy stuff!
feels like a reskin of nerd synth with different waveforms and less presets
I was excited to see if there was anything extra here to make it have the viral sound … but sadly I think it’s just the extra waveforms, third LFO, and trance gate that was added. And one new reverb algorithm? It’s not terrible, but I am slightly regretful that I bought it. was hoping with all the pristine reviews that it had something new that made it more like a virus.

LFO doesn’t work anymore
LFO stops working when you hit play, after the last update.
Great synth!
This sounds so good, runs great on M5 iPad Pro. A lot of fun to play! If I had two requests, it would be to have a longer sequencer and to have longer release envelopes(20 seconds might be enough for some, but I like to make chill out meditative drones, and I would love to see release envelopes up to 60 seconds. Maybe in a future synth you make? Pretty please?) Still, a fantastic synth, so great job to the developer, thanks for your amazing work! Love it!!!
Loamo
Viva Dios
Amazing!
They really do a great job, I own most of their synth apps. Great prices for such amazing instruments.
Langweilig!
Sorry
Viral keyboard
The sounds are nice After 10 minutes of navigation I am wondering if it is capable of doing midi .. if so then yes I would give it 5 stars
Weird sounds. More like sound effects.
Overall the synth is well done but the patches are more like weird sound effects. Very few usable patches. I was hoping for more uplifting ethereal sounds. I like this app series overall, this one not so much.
Yes this is a very cool instrument
I love it, ty, the first patch is purely sonic whisps from the outer edge of notes coming from the guitar controller !!
MIDI & Sync Issue
Great app with some bugs
Apps really solid for the price but I’ve noticed an issue while using midi with the app. Sending panic audio stop commands (for me it’s just double tapping the stop button on my controller) causes the app to reset to the default patch that’s loaded when you first boot, ignoring prog change CCs that are in effect. Other than that I’ve had little to no problems with the app that can’t be explained by the fact that I’m using an iPhone 12 mini, stuff like ui cutting off at the notch and some of the ui elements not being super responsive to touch (reverb and delay button take a few tries to trigger for some reason.)
Good but buggy
The patches are great but I get a few bugs, some may be host/Au related so I will skip those but the X/Y pad snap option does not work which is a shame as that was my favourite way to use Synthmaster Player and I was hoping to be able to do that again here.
Great program
I’ve been using this program for about 4 months that’s the first version 2 a lot of great sound similar to my Juno 60 this version is no disappointment keep up the good work
Crashes in learn midi mode
Can’t really evaluate this because it crashes when in midi learn mode
So good! Just needs filter modes
I’ve always wanted a virus, and now I have the sound in a great app! Everything I want is there except filter modes, which is an odd omission to me. No hipass, band pass, 12db, etc. which I find so strange given the detail on everything else. But hard to complain for a great priced and well supported app from a reliable developer
Surprised at the Quality
Always wanted an Access Virus synth. I never got one but this thing is very realistic, fatness wise.
Crash city
Audio crashes every 3 presets causing you to have to close and open the app. Super Annoying
Pretty good so far
Starting with a 4 star review. Likely will go to 5 stars after I dink around with more and put through the paces. I was really bummed when Kemper just up and left the Access Virus TI to rot when macOS dropped 32 bit support. I feel like after years of great support, the sudden quiet and frozen in time website was a real gut punch. Never buy the Kemper amps! They clearly don't care about being real and showing respect to loyal customers. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Sadly, this amazing app isn't an emulator. Would have been nice to import some of my old TI sounds in, but I get it. And I don't hold that against the developer at all. But this app does seem to capture the vibe of my favorite synth. Looking forward to playing around with it more!
Great app
Just getting started with this well rounded app fills many holes in my musical needs
🎛️ “Viral Synth T2x — Sound Go Boom-Boom Very Nice!”
I am using Viral Synth T2x on iPad me,and, wow, the sound is crazy power! When I touch the screen, it make big noise like laser robot from future disco. Filter move smooth like sushi knife, and the bass drop make my cat run away very fast! 😂 The interface look simple, but inside it have many secret button… I push one and suddenly, whoosh!— sound go flying left and right! Delay and reverb also shine like neon in Shibuya night. Sometime it crash little, maybe because too much energy spirit inside synth. But still, I love it very much. Easy to make techno, trap, or something not even human understand. Sound is strong like sumo, and I feel like DJ samurai every time I play. Very recommend!
GREAT sounds across the board :-)
Dear AudioKit, Way to go…. keep up the excellent work!
Best Value Synth
Best group of presets for the value. Useable presets that work in song writing. Totally adjustable.
Best of it's class bass synth!
Another AudioKit banger :)
