Description

FisketipsNorge

Everything you need for better fishing – in one app.

FisketipsNorge is made for anglers who want to get more out of every fishing trip. The app brings together fishing spots, catch logging, weather, tides, water levels, moon phase, water temperature, AI analysis, practical guides and a social Feed.

Whether you fish from the coast, a pier, a boat, a lake or a river, FisketipsNorge gives you useful tools before, during and after your trip.

Build your own fishing map

The map grows with the community. Add your own fishing spots with GPS coordinates, photos, tips and local conditions. Choose whether each spot should remain private or be shared publicly with other anglers.

Public fishing spots may include information such as:

Common fish species

Parking, toilets and boat ramps

Family-friendly areas and grilling spots

Terrain, wind and sunlight conditions

Water temperature, weather and tides

Over time, this creates a living and up-to-date fishing map – built by anglers, for anglers.

Smart conditions and alerts

With Good Conditions, the app evaluates available data such as weather, tides, water levels from NVE, moon phase, water temperature, time of day and catch history.

Save your favourite fishing spots and receive alerts when the conditions look especially promising.

AI analysis for fish and fishing spots

Use the camera or select a photo from your library to identify fish with AI. You can also analyse a fishing spot using an image and GPS location.

With Fisketips+ AI, the app can help you with:

AI-powered fish identification from photos

Fishing spot analysis

Recommended casting zones marked directly on the image

Suggested casting directions and visible structures

Weather, tide and moon-phase evaluation

Suggestions for relevant species and recommended equipment

Catch log and social Feed

Log your catches with species, size, method, location, weather conditions and photos. Your catch journal gives you a clear overview of your own fishing history.

You can also share catches and tips in the Feed, explore posts from other anglers and use Friend View when you prefer more limited sharing.

Achievements and badges

Unlock achievements as you use the app. Log catches, discover new species, explore fishing spots, save favourites and use the AI tools.

The achievement system includes progress tracking, levels and unique digital badges for your milestones.

The app includes practical guides for beginners and experienced anglers:
