A lot of fun until updated
The game is a blast, if you have the hardware to run it. At only 455 MB size, it should run smoothly, unfortunately that’s not the case. After updating recently, it now just crashes upon loading the app. This is typical of this developer unfortunately, as they have a few good games that I used to play, but due to poor optimization, it’s same issue as always; after updating, it kills the app. It also happened to Butcher Hero. I have declined to update Devour Hero Idle, so that I don’t lose access to that game as well. I’ll keep checking after each updating in case the Devs see this and can’t fix the issue 🤞 playing on iPad Pro 1st GEN, which is most likely the issue, but it should be updated as such in the compatibility list.

Constantly freezing currently hopefully update coming. Just spent a couple bucks after liking the game. Now can’t play for more than 5 minutes without a full freeze

But, I haven’t been able to find TOO much about the game, so I thought maybe it’s just really new? I’ve been pretty bad at this game, missing what I’m supposed to do and taking way longer than I should, but I’m LOVING the pacing so far. Challenges and scaling has been really satisfying. No lag, no ads, and no long time gates for things. The cons? Absolutely no hints or guides, no map even when a new area is introduced, no identifiers of where you can get extra upgrades, and the targeting is a little tough to get used to. But past that there are even more pro’s: the regions feel brand new and organic, the maze-like map makes it challenging, there’s no real consequence for trying again and again. Can’t wait to see what gets added, but if I HAD to suggest anything, it would be: swapping armor/weapons makes the stats display incorrectly for a bit in the item upgrade window, quest markers for places like research center, library, and the like make it seem like they’re only for the quests but not for power-ups. And finally, the little white circle lines to display cooldowns are SO hard to see sometimes. Can you give them like a black border or make them slightly darker? Other than that, having a blast!!! Update: The VIP section says pharaoh center unlocks at vip2. I reached it, but then the pharaoh center says reach vip4 to open. Vip4 is for religion. Seems disingenuous if it’s not wrong. Will re-add a star if this is fixed.

Mindless grind fun
Sort of fun. I finished the game to my surprise. I found mindlessly gathering resources a bit hypnotic. Didn’t find the ads necessary. Hint: play around with upgrading and then refunding equipment, you might be surprised
Fun but Glitchy
The game keeps freezing until I lock and unlock my phone, then it flashes rapidly until I restart it. Plus I unlocked aviation but can’t use it; the game acts like it’s still locked.

I completed the Iron Age and evolved but the bridge to the next area will not form. My quest shows in the next area but I cannot get to it.

Found a bug for almost instant pumping to 1B< damage, protection and health contact me I'll show it
100% optional ad driven
You can watch a 30 second ad every minute for loads of apples, or you can spend hours grinding the apples and not even get close to the ad amount. Now imagine doing that for hours on end. You’ll watch thousands of ads, although optional, cause it would be stupid not to. I found this out within 30mins of gameplay and deleted it instantly.
Freezing
I enjoy the game but since the update, it randomly freezes. I have reached the Renaissance Era.

Enjoyed the game beat the final boss but then my game froze trying to collect the reward. I tried to hit respawn but it didn’t do anything.

Unless you want to watch ads or pay then you’re gonna spend a stupid amount of time collecting resources. There isn’t much to do except increase your stats to defeat the big dude so you can evolve and then just do the same thing all over again. In other words…it’s boring.
Fun at first but gets tedious.
I enjoyed the game until I got to the “Bronze Age” I’ve been stuck here for days, playing for hours. I have upgraded everything I can and still can’t kill the immortal beings I need to kill to got to the next level. Instead, I’m stuck in the same area, doing the same this over and over again (mostly watching ads). This is not entertainment, this is tedium. Very poor game design.

Their support team doesn’t exist. I still need help with an issue with billing and they have never gotten back to me. I’ve emailed them many, many times and still nothing. They don’t care. They just put up a game, collect their money, and move onto the next one to do the same thing.

Fun game but
The game over all is actually quite enjoyable. Downside is to have any reasonable sided of advancing you have to click the popup bonus resources which are ad based. Annoying but understandable. But the “remove ads forever” purchase is $34.99 usd. Anything over $4.99 is seriously pushing it but $35 is absolutely insane

Major health bug needs to be fixed.. says I have 148k then one hit and I’m down to 58k
Amazing update! A couple things..
16 Oct 25 I can’t move or do anything after defeating the Führer. I would still like to play and get the upgrades I don’t have, even if I’ve beaten all current objectives. The weapon jamming really really REALLY needs fixed. I lose fights I should win constantly because the weapon doesn’t shoot. Newest review: 8 Oct 25 I love the update! It was far more than I was expecting! The free gems I love, thank you! I think the quest box might be smaller, but even smaller than that would be awesome. *Please* give us a rock and diesel mine :D My biggest complaint is how often my weapons jam in the middle of an important fight that I would win otherwise. I have lost too many fights that I would have won to count because my weapon jammed. Is that intended? Thank you! New review: finished everything so far and I can’t wait for more! I’m at the end now. The castle at the top is the end but you can see past the Middle Ages when you are on the ship. You can see Italians past what they have and Japanese past current playable content. I’m excited to play those. Past review: I’m enjoying this so far. My major problem is the giant icons. They take up half the screen, literally. Please give us the option to make them smaller. I can’t see the enemies in some cases.

Made it all the way past Iron Age, did everything in Iron Age, but I can’t evolve. So the game is just totally broken and there’s no way to get support.

Suggestions
If there’s anyone who actually reads these things, check the code and see how you’ve limited to bronze permanently to 800 units max at generator I suggest you change that more over all the generators are lackluster the bronze just offensively so Played up to the Renaissance area obviously haven’t thought out the later levels of the game through and possibly still in production. Might be fun game if they do a lot of work and update.
Needs major update
Super fun game but health bug issue is super annoying I have over 800K health but only gives me 96k unless I upgrade the health then it’ll give me all my health. I can’t upgrade shrines to be able to collect more resources
Fun game with minor issues
Really enjoyable game but i have some things to point out like 1. Health bug 2. Stone doesn’t have a shrine or idle to collect 3. Previous shrines gives nothing compared to later stages and u can’t upgrade them further 4. The scroll shrine route is not easily found took me a while to figure it out 6. Horse is the same speed on foot or slower I kinda regret unlocking it 7. Attack and health percentage upgrade doesn’t seem to work properly the calculations are off 8. And portal require u to unlock religion but can’t find it anywhere in the game
