Very convenient for keeping track of my payments, credit limit increased, etc.
Completely joke
Successfully set up and verified my account, only for my very first order using Argos Pay to be declined straight away. After a few tries, I received a text stating my account had been frozen and to contact customer service. Upon calling, support asked me to verify an address at the other end of the country where I’ve never set foot. Before I could even ask what was going on, my account was completely shut down - despite never having made a single purchase. Utter rubbish service. Save yourself the hassle and use other apps instead.

UPDATE: The payment was made on September 30th. Today is October 7th and I still see the unpaid payment reminder! I have to go into my account and look to see if I paid or not. It's annoying not to be sure. ………………………… I hate this new app and the new terms and conditions for using the card. First of all, when you deposit the required amount, a payment reminder still appears. It's unfair because it exposes the customer to repeated, duplicate payments. The minimum payment amount should be removed, and information should be visible that the payment for the current month has already been made. Failure to do so can cause unnecessary stress.

Please change back to Argos card, I have had so many problems I could write a book I am sick of ringing Argos pay to solve my problems. I did say I could write a book this is just a couple, I don’t know if I’m paying my BNPL or my account, when I make a payment the payment for some reason goes to the old Argos card account even though it’s the new Argos Pay app, I do get the payment back in my bank account after around 2 or 3 days, when I call Argos Pay I’m told to pay over the phone, also to delete the app and install it again but the same thing happens, my payment ends up being late but told they will not charge me a late payment fee when I check my statement they have charged me I have to call them to get it taken off. I have asked for my statements to be sent in the post so I can pay that way. I hope my problems get resolved soon.

It’s such a hassle to make payments, the app is glitchy and a lot of screens saying something went wrong.

Blocked abroad
Please be aware that app does not work when customers are abroad, which makes it impossible to make monthly payments on time, even when the customer is willing and attempting to do so. It is therefore unfair to charge an overdue payment fee in circumstances caused by a restriction of your service.

Always says account is blocked
I’m very disappointed with Argos Pay. My account keeps getting blocked repeatedly, and every time this happens I have to contact customer service to get it unblocked. It’s extremely frustrating and inconvenient to have to call again and again for the same issue. There should be a proper solution to prevent the account from being blocked repeatedly, rather than making customers contact support every time. Please improve the account security system and provide a more convenient way for customers to resolve this issue. The current experience is really difficult and time-consuming.

They are learning the curves and making the app better now, maybe I should give NewDay a chance before I trash their credibility, they are ironing out all the issues. I was use to the old Argos card before, the app is becoming more convenient over time.
Utterly useless
Constantly logged out of the app, especially when it needs updating, and no longer getting the info needed. Any issue with repayments is now clearly the fault of new day.

Argos has such a wide range of products. It’s very handy to spread the costs of goods over 12 months interest free. Definitely would recommend.

Awful app and payment method this is the worst payment method I have ever used the start are next to useless nothing gets resolved unbelievable
