Non basta “community” se poi manca la serietà
Dopo aver partecipato a due viaggi e a numerosi eventi con questa piattaforma, ho deciso di interrompere definitivamente ogni rapporto con loro a causa di una gestione del cliente che ho trovato deludente e poco professionale. In occasione di un recente evento, mi sono scontrata con un errore logistico macroscopico: la scheda riportava nel titolo "Lago del Salto", ma l'indirizzo indicato era in una zona residenziale di Roma (Colleverde), creando una discrepanza di quasi 100 km. Avendo poche ore da dedicare all’attività, avevo chiesto conferma preventiva al coordinatore sulla fattibilità, ricevendo riscontro positivo, salvo poi scoprire solo a ridosso dell'evento che la località reale era ben lontana dalla disponibilità di tempo indicata. Quando ho segnalato l'accaduto al director Weromaevents per cercare una definizione bonaria, non ho trovato alcun ascolto. La mia versione è stata svalutata e l'evidenza geografica (visibile chiaramente nello screenshot che purtroppo qui non posso allegare) è stata negata. Invece di porre rimedio all'inconveniente con serietà, mi è stato offerto un misero sconto di 8€ per ripartecipare a un futuro evento con lo stesso coordinatore: una proposta che ho trovato offensiva per una cliente che in passato ha sempre partecipato con educazione ed entusiasmo. Non è una questione di rimborso, ma di correttezza: ho cercato un confronto serio che mi è stato negato, preferendo proteggere il coordinatore invece di ammettere un errore oggettivo di comunicazione. Chiudo con loro consapevole che, quando si presentano problemi, il cliente non è affatto al centro. D'ora in poi rivolgerò il mio tempo e le mie risorse ad altre realtà più serie e attente.

While I like when people try to be innovative and compete on the market, I do not see any advantage of this app compared to meetups or couchsurfing. It seems more like the sole purpose of creating it was to promote WeRoad as a back agenda. Feel free to reply if this is not fully the case, but it surely seems like it so far.

Grazie a wemeet oltre ad aver fatto tantissime esperienze diverse che non avrei mai pensato di fare, ho conosciuto persone straordinarie. A volte uscire dalla propria confort zone ci insegna che c’è sempre un amico che non abbiamo ancora incontrato ad aspettarci in una nuova avventura. Tramite wemeet ho potuto fare esperienze a cui non avrei mai partecipato perché ho amici troppo pigri per le novità. Ma soprattutto ho conosciuto persone con cui condivido tuttora le mie avventure anche al di fuori da questa app. Ho 33 anni e la consiglio vivamente… buttati 😊
