No better than EA or Supercell

I guess I can say the stories offered are decent, but the payment mold is utter garbage. In my state a library card is free and if you are from out of state itā€™s around $25 annually. Why in the world would I pay a weekly subscription for something where the stories on it are mostly written by AI. You are using the payment model of micro transactions, which makes me sick as I kinda like reading these stories but Iā€™m not paying for it if itā€™s going to be that expensive. It would be different if every story had at least 300 chapters but thatā€™s not even the case.

Random Ads but No Free Chapters

Downloaded this app bc someone said it was a free reading app where you get chapters for watching ads. Turns out you actually have to pay a subscription for reading not even a coin option AND youā€™ll get random ads for nothing whatsoever. Probably one of the least worth it of the reading apps.

The stories are mostly decent.

The stories are mostly decently. The short stories are mostly your typical drama/romance with a lot of face slapping and such. I actually do enjoy reading them. What I am not enjoying lately however, is the app randomly crashing, which it wasnā€™t doing previously. It crashes every 15 minutes, and Iā€™m finding it highly annoying enough that I wonā€™t fix my review until it no longer crashes like this as it has been doing since the last update.

Hard to cancel subscriptions

Itā€™s difficult to cancel subscriptions for the stories. While I enjoyed the stories, I wish that there was a cancellation button within button for VIP within the app, so I donā€™t have to manually email the creators (without VIP, itā€™s hard to read the stories due to the amount of coins + lack of rewards). I wouldnā€™t say itā€™s worth getting VIP.

Subscription

DO NOT GET THIS APP. I payed for a 3 day subscription payment just to see through the end to a story that I curiously had the know which I should've stayed curious of. And it doesn't let you cancel it through the app store or settings so now I'm mad that I might be charged forever through this app because there is no cancel subscription payment anywhere! I've already sent them an email to see if they can cancel my subscription, but from what I've seen through reading the reviews they most likely not even going to respond back to me! If you see this, DO NOT pay for it. And don't be like me without reading the reviews on the app first before installing it. And I really wished I had read through them too before paying on this app. Who on earth makes an app with no cancel subscription payment?

Cancellation

I must admit I panicked when I saw all the bad reviews about not being able to cancel subscriptions. I didnā€™t even believe the one good review. However, I sent an email with my customer ID anyway, expressing my wishes to cancel the subscription I bought and less than 24 hours later, I received a reply. My subscription is cancelled. It was quick and easy and my anxiety disappeared. Phew! What I will say is, it does not show up in Apple subscriptions, so I feel this should be removed from the app as advice on how to cancel. The only way to cancel is sending an email to customer services. Which worked for me and one other person. I pray it works for everyone else. The books I read were good, if a little short, but a good enough platform for new authors. For this reason, I have given 4 stars. Thanks.
