Effektiv og pålidelig
Hvis du heller ikke vil være til grin for dine egne penge og føler et behov for at protestere mod Trumps radikalisering af USA som forbruger, så hjælper appen dig hurtigt pg effektivt. Bare scan varen i appen, og hurtigt får du svaret om globale ejerforhold, og du bliver overrasket: fx er “svenske” Marabou ejet af USA og “britiske” Walkers ligeså.

Great concept
I like the idea behind the app, and it's working as advertised. Only negative is that is is subscription based (besides the 3 free scans a day), and I'd much rather pay a higher price once.

Het idee is goed maar de uitvoering niet. Negen van de tien barcodes worden niet herkend.
Good but hypocrisy
I do think the app is doing its job perfectly, easy to use and very detailed. However you are limited to 3 uses a DAY on the free version which defeats its whole purpose of boycotting USA. The devs are trying to use the situation and peoples emotions on the issue to make money. That mindset is exactly the same as the man across the ocean. Do better!

Not to trust
The app doesn’t work 100%. Have scanned the same P&G product 3 times and the answer is always different… and unfortunately it never comes out as an American product…

Die App funktioniert sehr gut. Schade ist nur die Begrenzung auf 3 scans täglich. Hier steht dann doch wieder der kommerzielle Gedanke im Vordergrund. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, dass das Entwicklerteam nonprofit und die Leitlinie einer wehrhaften Verbrauchermacht verfolgt. Deshalb nur zwei Sterne.

Incorrect information
This app told me my book was published by Paramount global when in fact it was published by a completely independent company. Admittedly the company back in 2023 did belong to an American company but has since been bought out. This app could be very detrimental if you believe everything it says without fact checking

You have to pay
Good idea. But you have to pay after 3 scans. You can just use the detrumpify app and it’s free.
Surprising results
The results are very illuminating. Athough you can only check 3 products a day for free, you can slowly go through your cupboards/fridge and be amazed at what is actually American. The paid subscription allows unlimited checking and a good investment to support the app and moral democracy.

We all have our vote and our money. This app is helping me use my money to send a message when a vote isn’t possible. It’s successfully identified every product I’ve scanned with it, no matter how obscure. To all: accept the mild inconvenience, prioritise your principles instead and stop buying products of US origin / with a US connection where an alternative from the UK, EU and our true allies like Canada and Australia is available.

Har nogle svagheder.
God ide og virker nok på de fleste varer, men har nogle svagheder. Jeg scannede en pose mandler, den var iflg appen dansk, fra Salling? Man kan scanne 3 varer dagligt eller opgradere til pro. Måske skulle i stedet for lade folk bruge den i en kort tidsperiode, så man har bedre mulighed for at lære appen at kende og først derefter 3 scanninger dagligt eller opgradere appen?
Works well in the UK
Great app so far. I’ve been genuinely surprised by some of the stuff I’ve scanned which I had assumed was British owned and made but actually turned out to be owned by some US conglomerate that donates to the fat orange man-baby and his cronies. Though the app doesn’t tell you the latter, you have to use a reputable non-Google European based search engine to find that out. I’m using Ecosia.
Just a wrapper for ChatGPT
As far as I'm aware the only thing this app does is send your photo of the product to ChatGPT. Putting my personal distaste for AI aside, what is the point in this? You do not need to use any kind of AI to make something like this, and it is likely the sole reason this app charges you money. Not to even mention that OpenAI is an american company... The hypocrisy is honestly just sad.
