Great App
Using this app to remind me to give meds to relatives while providing his care. Would be great to have a note to add at the end of the day to monitor disease progression.
Nearly perfect
I really like this app but there are a couple of things that make it not ideal. First off, it’s not discreet AT ALL. I don’t want people to be aware that I’m taking medication and so when the phone calls would come in with a giant PILL BUDDY name on my screen I found myself super anxious about getting found out. And did a few times. So There’s no discretion filter which I hate. Even on the Home Screen and in the Notification Center. I also find the user face to be a bit too juvenile for my taste. I’m an adult, and signing in to tap a giant oversized colored egg wasn’t the biggest flex for me. I would’ve preferred the option to change the buddy look. Otherwise it’s really great if you’re someone who needs a constant reminder throughout the day.

It can get better
I do like this app and Thanks to it, always take my meds. However, I wish for more clothes to the pill buddy avatar and maybe some hairstyles to customize it better.
Notifications are a bit creepy
I love the idea and concept of the app and it is a good app but some of the notifications are creepy, saying things like “I'm going to find you in person” and other things which sometimes put me on edge.
Actually helped me
Okay, so it’s a little weird sometimes when it calls you to remind you but I love this app otherwise! My wife has stopped yelling at me to take my pills because this app reminds me morning and night! I like how you can put if you skipped a med, and it doesn’t ask questions. I like the reminders and little widgets that make him angry until you do your meds. Having other options like water intake or steps is great too cause it reminds me to take care of myself in other ways! Amazing for being free!!!
Filled with bugs
Tried this app out and it is filled with bugs. I’d record my meds and would still get alerts and notifications. Also couldn’t change reminders when my medications changed so I was forced to use skip.
A great little app that does what it says
I love this app for tracking my pills! Now, im not gunna lie and say it’s perfect. There are some aspects I would change. Namely the forced midnight transition stopping your streak. But for a free, one person app, this thing is awesome! Super useful. Cute and fun, yet unobtrusive and relatively easy to use. Really, the best pill tracker I’ve found! Keep up the good work!
Great friend to have to help you with remembering
I used the free version for medication taking, water and pain levels after a multiple teeth extraction. I was on pain meds plus antibiotics and my every day meds this helped me o tracking and making sure my pain was controlled and my meds were being taken as prescribed. Thanks for making this so easy 😌

i love this app, it makes taking medicine and tracking it less boring. the different personalities you can choose for the buddy are nice and i like being able to change what buddy wears etc. very good job !
Great for reminders but the “cute” part could use some work…
I got this app to help me remember to take my meds every day, and while it totally helps and I’m now almost a month into consistently taking them every day, it hasn’t been the “cute” experience I expected. The personality settings are Loving, Positive, and Sarcastic, but all three have negative feeling reminders. I ended up using the first two before switching to Sarcastic because at least I was expecting a snarky comment from that personality. One of my reminders with the Loving personality said “You break my heart. Excuse me while I go sulk in a corner,” which feels histrionic as opposed to loving. I want to be encouraged in a positive way and not more guilty for still not taking the med, especially when said meds are to help with things like depression and anxiety. That might sound silly to some, but it can mess with the psyche of others. This app really does help so much with getting my meds and vitamins in every day and I will continue to use it! But if you’re new to using it, be prepared for those not-so-great feeling reminders being present with all three personalities.
A game changer
I am someone who typically forgets their meds for days. Sometimes it’s avoiding, sometimes i just can’t remember if I already did. This has helped me keep track like no other way has. I have done alarms, pill cassettes, etc. This has been my longest success run. And it’s free which is nice.
Love it! But…
I really like this app. It has enough customization that you can pretty much have it work the way you need it to. Two comments: First, I couldn’t find a way to add a med that I need to take for three weeks on a taper. 30mg the first week, 20mg the second week, and 10mg the third week. So at the moment, I have to set a reminder to change to dosage after each week. Not too convenient. Second, I just wanted to comment on pricing. Of course you can do whatever you want, but I feel that $36/year is too high. Half that would reap way more customers and be financially more profitable. The $36 should be a one time purchase, not a subscription. Just my 2¢. Thank you for making this app!! It truly is really well done!👍
