LOVED this game. So I bought the upgrade. And now it’s incredibly impossible to cancel the subscription. I just want to cancel without any hassle.
Too expensive
This game is like many others except for the fact that to go ad free you have to pay weekly, or monthly. They have varying rates you can pay but unless it’s a one time charge, I don’t think it’s worth it. So I’m gonna have to delete this one and go with one of the others.

I’ve been playing this game for months. Loved it. Made me think. Until recently as ads are popping up all throughout the game. Very annoying. I just deleted the game.

An enjoyable game, that gets your brain working. It initially had few ads, but now has more than enough. I enjoy the game, and the amount of ads is more than enough, but not as bad as some other games.

Crossword Challenge
Have only started to play last night. It’s fun and challenging, however ads for other games come up and they do not let you get rid of them. No X to exit. The only way to clear it is to play it which isn’t ideal. I would give a 5 star if you could click out of them. Not sure how long I will be able to play.

Crossword Challenge feels like a porch swing for your brain easy, breezy, and a little flirty. It tickles your smarts, pats your shoulder, and says “Come on back now, sugar, we ain’t done.” Pure puzzle charm.
Was my favorite
This was a crazy addictive game. I played so much I would get between 40-50k points every tournament. Now they took away the free hints and superstars for streaks and require much more ads. The points you earn per puzzle has also been reduced by almost 50% and the pop up for paying $20 for hints is constant. Another example of devs getting greedy and ruining a great app.

I love the game has been playing it every day however I hate those ads keep popping up.
Bypass ads
So many g’dammed ads! BUT, you can bypass every single one, just close out the game and restart ! You start right where you left off and screw over EVERY SINGLE ADVERTISER!

I really like this game, but the number of times that the ad freezes the game and I have to start all over is becoming just too much. Every update I’m hopeful this will end and it does not. Fix this and it’s a 5 star game!

Fun but insanely easy and made for kids
I thought this would be a fun crosswords app, and the concept is, except all the clues are basically given to you. The clue will be “retweet” and the answer will be “rt”. Or “registered nurse” and the answer is “rn”. Half of the answers are just acronyms for the clue. If it’s not that, it will be “letter after T” or something silly. If you have an IQ of over 30 this game isn’t for you.
Fun but ADs Galore
This game would be my favorite but I can’t play a board without an ad popping up two to three times during the game. I could understand if I requested something but it’s just ad after ad. It’s annoying. Might not have it much longer.

No that’s on a cat 🐱 A clue that says part of the brain 🧠 for the word MIND? No that’s a synonym 🙄 Parts of the brain are lobes. I’m still kicking this things butt majorly but whoever writes these clues is an inept idiot!

若干、単語に偏りがある気がしますが、よくできたアプリだと思います。 しかしながら、快適にプレイするための月額課金が高すぎます。かといって、無課金の場合の広告によるユーザビリティ低下は許容範囲を超えています。 数ヶ月課金しましたが、残念ながら使用を中断しました。

Great game but it’s constantly ads. It will also play ads at the bottom of the screen and randomly open the website for said ad without even clicking on it. Super annoying.

Like the crosswords but too much ads and adware. Hijacking and forcing my Amazon app to open, my security alert keeps going off saying it has blocked sites. Unfortunately will delete this app.

Full of viruses and bugs
Listen… this is a great game I love playing it but if I didn’t have protection on my internet this game would have infected my whole phone and at random times it will try to get me to go onto the SHEIN app on its own. Literally I would be playing the game and all The sudden my phone will automatically send me to the web for SHEIN when I didn’t press anything. It’s crazy and annoying. This game is not worth frying my phone ijs.

I love the game but they have too many ads and no way to get back to your game after you submit. They don’t have an X to get out and back to the game. I love the game but I hate the trouble it takes to play.

Great game!! Wish dark mode didn’t make some of the feautures and clues disappear like the hint letters or pictures. I wish it had specified that it was in American English when I first downloaded it
Really don’t want to delete this game but….
It’s not that there’s too many ads but there is a SHEIN ad that automatically opens up on my browser without clicking it. I hate that and it’s happening more and more- sometimes a few times during a single game play. I don’t want to keep an app that allows an add to open anything up on my phone without a prompt!

too many concerning bugs
im past level 200 now and ive done my best to ignore the various visual bugs such as the game freezing and then my letters being submitted in random spots, the flickering screen, etc. but now the bugs have gotten worse. sometimes it will freeze my entire phone and the only way to fix it is to turn my phone off and wait a few seconds, which doesnt even turn my phone off fully and just takes me to the screen that shows my open windows. it feels so invasive on my device and i might have to delete it and find something new (that also doesnt use ai). i know this isnt my phones problem because its fairly new and because it doesnt happen with any other game.

Lazy clues ruin the game
This has potential. It’s easy to fill in, easy to grasp, easy to handle, attractive… but a LOT of the answers are just the initials of the words given as the clue. Sometimes initials are fine - CEO for example is perfectly acceptable - but when they just have two words next to each other so they stick some random words in for initials… that’s lazy and annoying. I’ve only got to level 26 so I can get the WeWards, now I’ll be deleting it.

I love playing this but the adverts drive me crazy! There’s waaaay too many, completely ruins the game and there’s no option to go ad free.
