It’s a great game
Love the game and having continuous ways to earn items is great. Issue for me is after I hit around level 1300 the timer countdown sound when it got to 30 seconds left doesn’t happen until 10 seconds left. Not sure if that was intentional or not but I liked the 30 second warning.
Levels require cheats too often.
It was fun for a bit. But after a while it’s like you always need cheats to win. You need to win 5-10 levels (depending on the booster) to get perks, but if you loose once you lose everything. I’ve also noticed anytime I win more then 5 levels in a row, the next level the app with stall, force me to close it out. Which counts as me loosing the level, even if I would have won. If they offered a zen option, where you could just enjoy playing and not fighting a timer, it would be great! But the time almost always seems too short, spending days on a single level is really frustrating.
Losing due to app issues
I was winning a level and the app froze and I lost all of my dice spins and adventure help. This is the second time this has happened and it’s very frustrating

Fun concept
I love this game because it’s a fun concept and great game play. The animation and tactile feedback is a nice addition to the game. I did not give it 5 stars tho because I do find the game to be stressful with the timed levels. I enjoy playing games that are relaxing and challenging, but having a time limit on each level makes it more stressful. I feel it would be better With a limited number of moves instead of a timer. I also want to just be able to play the game and not have to go thru the animations of the challenged and collection of puzzle pieces etc. that takes up valuable game time.
Got extremely boring after 250
Till level 250 or so it was challenging. I think they ran out of ideas and the sleeping geckos suck! Who is the PM who thought of this. Deleted it after one level. Never been so annoyed with a game.
Timer is unrealistic
This game is fun when you’re on a level that can be completed in the allotted time but there are so many levels that are just ridiculous to try to figure out in the time they give you. Less than two minutes for a very hard level is just dumb. I shouldn’t have to go find a YouTube video of someone completing the puzzle and study that video just to be able to get past a level. This game would be so much better with longer time allowances or the option to play in easy mode without a timer.

Epic arena
I love this game, but Epic Arena shows up too much. I wanna play my normal levels and get my levels up there but epic Arena pops up after it just ended and why is epic Arena 13 days why can’t it only be like two days?
Hard Levels are Impossible
The medium and easy difficulty levels are so fun, well designed, and I love them. However, I’m giving 2 stars because the hard and very hard difficulty levels are nearly impossible. You can’t avoid them, they take way too long to pass, and you inevitably have to use power ups, which you have to pay for. It’s ridiculous. I got this game because it’s the same as the ads and very fun sometimes, and I use it to relax. But very often I am so extremely frustrated for days because the hard and very hard levels are nearly impossible.
Additional time placement
When the round ends and the game asks if you would like to use funds to add more time, I keep selecting it by accident due to the placement
Entertaining
Fun and challenging. I enjoy that we get “bonuses” in game rather than having to pay for them.

I think having a timer is stupid. Get rid of it

I got this game because it looked cute; and it is. The first 30 levels are appropriately challenging. The remaining levels do not give you enough time to complete and you cannot be successful without purchasing things to help you. Developers: I wish you’d change this to give time to look at the board before starting the clock. As it is, the clock is running immediately as I’m allowed to view the board. Do not recommend for kids unless their guardian is planning to also give them their charge card. I deleted this. There are too many similar games to put up with this.
Not enough time
The game was fun until it started to get too hard and it doesn’t give you enough time finish the levels.
Game is too frustrating
I put 5 stars so people can see this. It starts fun and it’s challenging but doable. After like level 400 it’s impossible to win a level without some kind of help or spending money. Whats the point of a game if all it does is frustrate you? Don’t waste your money on this game. You lose even faster
Needs updated
To many levels time out to fast. Ex 436 has 3 minutes and times it before 2 minutes. Frustrating
Timer countdown
Great game but you’ve changed the timer countdown ticking to just 10seconds from 30 seconds, and so you think you’ve got more time than you think left. Also when you get stuck on a level for days on end there’s no way to earn a hammer or pick a gecko to help, you other than to purchase these items - maybe there should be a bonus game that you can earn these things from!!
Too hard!
I loved this game at the start, but it’s just too difficult and becomes frustrating and stressful. If you win levels first time around you get bonuses which make it enjoyable, but as soon as you lose a life the consequences are too severe. Had to delete it because it was becoming too frustrating and pointless being so hard.
Should be perfect, but…
There is a time limit on the levels. While that wouldn’t normally be a problem, the time limit on Gecko Out levels is so short that it can take dozens of tries to beat one level, and there are only five hearts, meaning five chances until you have to wait for them to reset later, which can be really frustrating. On top of that, the game is extremely stingy when it comes to power ups. It’s gotten only slightly better over the months I’ve played, but even then levels still feel impossible sometimes. TL/DR: The time limits on the levels are too short and power ups are super hard to get.

Loved this game, but it’s become so difficult that the only way to complete a level is to spend money on it to get more time or etc. Obviously done on purpose. Refuse to pay any more so I won’t be playing anymore.

Fav but....
So I fell in love with this game however getting stuck on the same level for days is kind of lame . I hardly ever get adventurers bounty , I always get advanced tools but it's so hard to achieve the tools it's like a tease ... it has actually become quite frustrating . When I do finally get bounty I have already ran out of lives so I have to watch an ad per turn which by the end of the ads leaves me only 2 tries . Ugh . I just wish I could get more bounty so I can actually play .

The timer actually detracts from playing the game and enjoyment of the game and actually causes anxiety

Starts off fun but then
At first it’s a lot of fun, however once you get to a certain spot it’s impossible to play without cheats. Even when you manage to get cheats if you lose once you lose everything which forces you to either quit or pay to play basically. This game is absolutely not free past a certain point. It designed to make sure you lose everything you earned. It will do back to back levels of extremely hard until you lose all your stuff. You can’t reach out to them for help. They do these copy and paste messages for all their responses. I even asked them to let me see them doing it and of course their reply is I’m sorry with don’t offer tips at this time. There are plenty of other games out there that don’t try to cheat you like this one. I read through a lot of the good reviews and it’s very evident they aren’t real reviews. Like I said, it’s fun at first but don’t expect to get anywhere without spending some money.
Cool
Very satisfying but def needs a zen mode. Also it will purposely steer your gecko away from the intended target in hopes you will spend money for an additional 15 seconds. It’s ick just stop. People will play it solely for the fun. No need to sabotage it
Disappointed
I love this game & reached a very high level. It became impossible to continue any further, so I tried to delete & restart from the beginning. But that creators have made it impossible to delete as the game isn’t registered in iCloud, so I’ve stopped playing it now. You’re definitely missing a trick there.
Great Game, But…
This game is so much fun and so addictive!!! I absolutely love playing this game! However, it is pretty difficult to accumulate enough coins to purchase any game tools without spending actual money (which I have spent plenty already) This is super frustrating and makes me want to delete it all together just so I don’t keep spending cash!

Hard levels are too hard!
Alright when you can actually play it but the hard levels are ridiculous! You don’t get enough coins or extras to help you pass the level so you end up stuck for days. What’s the point in making a game so difficult it can’t be played!? Oh yeah, of course, the possibility people will pay for the extras! The new levels with the bombs in are utterly ridiculous. This app is a lesson in how to make people hate a game!

Sick of every time I get onto the game there is over 20 pop-ups and it’s annoying might delete the game
Too much
If it were just the game, it would be fine. But there are side quests and puzzle pieces and all kinds of buy-ins and nonsense.
Can be ridiculously hard
It was really entertaining at the start, enjoyed the game until I got up to a certain level (500+) that’s when it starts to get really hard that it’s impossible not to use any tools an that’s when you start buying! I can’t even delete the progress and restart the whole thing…shame I’m gonna have to delete this
Buggy
It’s very fun and addicting but when you can’t beat a level and they give you the random power up where you get extra scissors and time added to the clock the scissors don’t cut a lot of the time and you don’t actually get any extra help. It makes it very frustrating.
