Easy to use
I use this app once a day to keep the memorization of ASL.
i don’t wanna buy subscription
it won’t let me go after lesson 3 unless i buy the subscription
Pay
You have to pay but it is worth it
Nope
I don’t like it I have reviewed many ASL apps and I’m not paying to learn ASL when theirs videos and other sources that are free to use for my clients
Errors
I like the app a lot and the way the lessons are presented. However, I have found on several occasions my answer is marked wrong when the correct answer displayed is the same. There was one instance when the answer choices on 2 questions appeared to be switched. Also there are times that some of the answer choices do not appear on the screen. I like the app but this is frustrating.
Great
I have 2 ASL classes in college so this is a refresher for me. The lessons are great and you get a sense of accomplishment for sure!
Great app, some glitches
First of all, I love this app. So engaging and fun and informative. There’s a few glitches in it. Notably, some answers will be off screen so you’ll miss the question but not able to see them. I’ve also noticed sometimes the signs/ videos have been incorrect. (i.e. the question was how many seconds in a minute and the answers were 30 and 40. Also you’ll writing down the right answer and it’ll will say wrong but give you the same answer.) But the tests aren’t graded so who cares. Also I wish they had a monthly subscription. Theres 102 levels. I’ve played for less than a week and am on level 26, so I’ll probably go through them in a month. I can’t decide whether the $50 is worth it. It is fun tho!
Can’t go past lesson 3
The app won’t let me move on past lesson 3. Says “there are still lessons to be completed before moving on” and makes me buy a subscription before continuing.
Great
This app is great learning ASL
Learn ASL
This app is data hog. U have to connect to wifi all the time. No video is downloaded for offline learning The bottom menu bar should be there all the time. So learners can flip from learning course to dictionary if needed right away.
I need help
It won’t let me move on to the fourth lesson of chapter one. It says, “There is still lessons to be unlocked first” or something but i don’t know what i’m supposed to do. Pls help!
Great
Easy to use and understand. I have learned a lot with just the first few lessons.
Love this app!
I really love this app. I wanted to learn ASL for our deaf customers. Also I’ve started to lose my hearing. The app could you some updates. Sometimes there are word choices on the screen you can’t see. You’ll get the answer wrong. It keeps telling me I need an update but when I click on it says it’s up to date. This has happened every day this week. I have recommended this to others- both coworkers and customers who come into our bookstore for ASL books. Seeing someone sign back to me has greatly helped me with reading sign back.
love the app
hate the tracking!!
Easy to learn
I like the teacher she seems happy. I also like the variety of checking our own progress.
Awesome ASL app
This app is perfect for beginner and intermediate signers. There is a plethora of vocabulary, sentences, and quizzes. It also has explanations as to how to distinguish between certain signs and/or phrases. With over a thousand lessons, it has proven to be a valuable tool for learning ASL.
Good
Easy to follow, not too expensive
Deaf language is the leanings
ASL
Better choice
I tried a few apps this one is by far the most useful. Please add a function were you can add words to a favorite list and take multiple choice quizzes.
