What people like
- Finally helps you navigate easily
- 3D views show where to go
- Great first interactive map of PATH
What they complain about
- No info on wheelchair access
- Graphics are hard to read
- Location tracking is unreliable
Worked perfectly and fast when it needed too
The fact that you 3D mapped it to make it easier to figure out where you were is very impressive
Accessibility
There is little to no information on wheelchair access in the PATH
Fantastic!
Finally a usable interactive map of the PATH in Toronto I only wish it also outlined accessible entrances as well
Great idea but too janky
The app is effectively unusable. Needs some UX tweaks to not be so annoying to use. A very useful concept ruined by a buggy interface.
Royal York
(I have not used this app IRL yet so my “stars” are irrelevant here.) When it comes to the headache around Union Station, whenever possible, I prefer to utilize the Fairmont Royal York Hotel entrance/exit directly across the street. However I’ve noticed this section of the path appears overlooked and not marked on this PATHWAY map.
Phenomenal
This is a very well built and accurate map. Essential for people who operate in downtown Toronto
Could be better
Glad that this exists it is helpful. If there were visuals or names of stores that would be helpful. Also when you press Go the navigation button should move with you. I wish there were labels for things like escalators and stairs.
Much needed idea but needs work on the app
Thank you for creating the app and making it easy for everyone! The thought of creating this app and getting the data together must have been mountain of effort but the app itself needs to be having either icons or the camera view data within the map and also list of step basis instructions about directions and distance units to next step. Access to current location needed and i believe we should also have a flattened map like google map.
Lifesaver for navigating the PATH
After many many years, I still can’t navigate the PATH and resort to going outdoors to reorient myself. This has changed that. THANK YOU
STAY OFF THE PATH
Not intuitive at all. Even with a good signal your location and the Path location don't marry up. So much easier to check actual board map, follow those directions and if all else fails, ask someone. App is a big fail.
Exceptional
Thanks Jaciel for taking this initiative and the hard work mapping the whole Path. I have no words to express how helpful the Toronto Path app is.
Indoor navigation is useless without landmarks
The graphics are all grayscale shapes and it is not easy to know where you are. There should be landmarks with some text or signs that give better context on where you are. So it is still easy to miss a turn.
Very useful!
This is the app I was waiting for. I can finally use path without getting lost.
Navigating the path has never been easier
I can finally navigate the path with ease! The 3d visualizations and guided path are really helpful and super unique
Helps so much
This app has helped me so much with navigating in the PATH. I always got lost but now it is super easy to see where I have to go to get to my destination
