Extra category

It would be nice to have an unaccounted for category, especially for things such as google maps.

This app will change your life for the better

I am a self proclaimed cell phone addict and I was way underestimating the amount of time I spent buried in my cellphone. I downloaded this app SCREEN TIME TRACKER (STT, for short) and it offered me data that not even the iPhone itself can provide in the Screen Time section of Settings. I was able to go back a month and STT broke down not only my daily use but I was able to differentiate between apps I consider productive and unproductive. The data was clear. I grabbed a calculator and Excel spreadsheet and hammered away at the data. On average per day over the last month I was spending an average of 14 hours PER DAY (over 98 hours per week!!) on non-productive apps and websites. The data was crystal clear. Mist of my waking hours were spent with my nose buried in my phone and my life reflected that. Last night I threw my phone in my car and vowed to stay away from it. I did great today and caught up on laundry and tidying up I’ve been meaning to do. I like data. Having it helps me to adjust accordingly. You might be different but phone addiction is a thing and this app is waking me up to that reality and what i personally need to do to STOP SCREEN TIME. Download this app. It’s really super easy to use from the get go.

This has helped from 10hrs to 2hrs in the span of 2 weeks

I LOVE THIS APP!! It is free of subscriptions (anyone's dream) and it actually works and isn't a scam, I use it everyday so I can actually work on school work, being active, not being lazy, and best thing about this is app... it has helped me screen time go down a lot it used to be at 10hrs and now it is at 2hrs!! But it does have its flaws like how it loads a lot but it still works really good!!

Whats the point?

As the title states, there is no point using this app. You can limit your own screetime already in settings and the built in ios screen time tracker is more inuitive than this junk. I got this believing I will be able to see total screen time on certain apps but no, it only shows them per day.

Use the built-in feature for assigning „productive apps“ for tracking problematic ones 😉

It’s super simple, but the separation of statistics for highlighting selective apps is very nice! You won’t get it anywhere else so simple. I even use the built-in feature for assigning „productive apps“ for tracking problematic ones Why? It shows me, how ‘productive’ or ‘unproductive’ I really am. 😉 It could help for let’s say ‘do not use chat software for longer than 30 minutes per week’ (which could be my own goal in my head). A weekly total minutes overview per would be so nice. But for now, I just sum up the seven daily minute values from a week to get a close value and knowing if I’m doing well. Please make the sections foldable to hide or show. detailed list - each for a node like Unproductive / Prodoctive / Blocked. As I said, I only focus on my known problematic ones.

Fantastic

I love this app. It count screen time more accurately than the included one (it doesn’t include time where the phone is on but just sitting on the Home Screen) I love that it allows you to have productive and unproductive categories since I do have to use my phone for work most days. However it does seem to count safari and all the websites used within safari separately in such a way that it duplicates time. Say I use Facebook in the browser for 30 minutes. I’ll have a log for Safari use for 30 minutes and a log Facebook.com use for 30 minutes. EDIT - it seems the native one tracks safari and the websites separately as well. Must be an Apple thing. Changed my review to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Somehow the only app that does this

I have downloaded a boatload of screen time apps trying to find one that is a) actually free with no subscriptions and b) gives screen time statistics that allow you to filter on certain apps (I don’t care how much screen time I have on Google Maps..). This is the only one I’ve found that meets those simple criteria. Thank you! Feature requests: more data visualization options to see screen time per week/month and also on a calendar view instead of a bar graph. A large tile Home Screen widget with screen time statistics would also be nice to replace the native iOS widget.

One improvement

Good app, but I would like it if you can delete certain things you don’t want in your screen time

Expands on built-in Screen Time

This straightforward app does just what it says, allows user selection of app categories or apps (just like the native Screen Time) and then presents that information in the same bar graph format as Screen Time, but sums up total time and time spent on apps marked unproductive.

Better than iPhone screen time tracker

It’s better, this app lets you pick productive and unproductive apps, so you can see time spent on apps you think are doing no good with long usage. The default iPhone screen time tracker does not do that.
