Swimming
Vey enjoyable
Can’t get on low circuit
The low circuit class on Mondays is always heavily oversubscribed.
Gym
Love going to Standish gym the staff are very helpful and friendly doing the exercises has certainly helped me on my journey 😁
Ugh
Everytime i try to log in i cant i reset my password through my emails and can log in and make bookings on the website online but as soon as i go to log in on the app it says login not found.
Standish leisure centre
Brilliant facilities and gym.Really recommend going
App not fit for purpose
The gym enforces the use of the app and accept membership for gym and leisure centre from age of 11, however creates an app with an age for download of 17! Therefore restrictions on the phone prevents downloading the app. We have a family membership, 2 adults and 2 children, however only the first adult can make any booking for one of the children, so if they are not available, we are unable to book children which defeats the purpose of a digital process.
Great app
Optimal intuitive functionality in the Wigan Council Be Well app. Aesthetically pleasing. Love it. Great job!
Trying to operate the app
Absolutely unbelievably difficult
Be well user
The website is terrible. Every time I log out, I have to reset my password to get back in. Sat her messing about with passwords so I’m going to be late for my session. Again.
Rating
Not user friendly and can’t find what I’m looking for on the dashboard. It’s not an improvement on the old system. New system of giving back refunds for cancelled lessons due to swimming GALAS is not good. No responses for emails or auto reply.Zero communication. On principle I shouldn’t be chasing up ££ for lessons cancelled by yourselves.
Sack the designer of this whole system
I have an iPhone, an iPad, Alexa, smart speakers and the rest. This by way of saying I am not a technophobe. This app, and the whole process of logging in etc, is a dumpster fire. The previous system involved swiping a key fob. Easy. Just this morning - second time I have used the app to book a session - the following things went wrong. 1. When logging in, the saved passwords for the app are for the old app. When creating a new password, it saves it to an unrelated website, gladstonego, instead of the deeeplink (sic) heading recognised by the app. That’s just pure incompetence on the part of the designers. 2. I am unable to book in to a session already in progress. It’s 8.45am, I do not wish to hang about til 9am. 3. There are two places to check in. Checked in at the first. Walked up to the gym. Doors locked, fair enough, there’s a second check in point. This one has a key pad, no QR code. What the **** am I supposed to do with that? Does it explain it in the app? No. 4. Okay, it offers a way to simply tap my phone. Enabled that, tapped phone, tick displays…but doors still locked. Yeah I hate this app.
Dance class
I have never been to this class before so arrived 10 minutes early to find 5 other people trying to log in. All having problems. Eventually one of your assistants came and tried to log in.for me. I had downloaded the app and booked the class at home. Eventually she managed to get me booked in but I had to change the password but I missed 5minutes of the start of the session.
Rubbish
Title says it all. Previous app worked so much better
