So this game is good it’s the best game you can play. It’s like the best and so I wanna compliment everything that they did to make this game awesome also like the controls are kinda easy but it doesn’t count. The sounds are good. The achievements are good thank you. Bye.

Great game but SO difficult
I played Playdead’s Inside game first and though it was difficult, but it was easier then this game! In Inside you had hints where to find the Easter eggs by seeing the yellow cords and then trying to get to them. In this game I repeatedly had to use guides to find them all. And, the hidden chapter, there is no way I could complete that but I watched it through with someone on the Steam platform.
Not phone friendly
Love them game on a console, but game play is extremely difficult in the phone version.
Good but frustrating
Once you’ve tried a random jump and catch 15 times and got nowhere near it, it’s time to give up, delete the app and go get some fresh air 😂😤🫠

One of the best games, but it has an audio issue?
LIMBO is one of my favorite games, and I decided to play it on mobile while traveling. About halfway through I noticed that there was no music or ambient sound (can’t hear things like rain, or music during many parts). Not sure if this is just an issue with newer devices. Giving it 4 stars because the music has always been an incredible draw, and also because trying to complete the end section without “Gravity Jump” playing is much more difficult than usual.
Controls are terrible
I loved the look and premise of this game, but found it frustrating because the controls wouldn’t respond half the time. After 4 times going thru a complex puzzle that involved timing, where I knew what to do but the figure just wouldn’t grab a box reliably, I just got frustrated and stopped playing. A shame because it was otherwise a nice game that I would have liked to keep playing. But as it is, it’s just not enjoyable.
Frustrating
The game is fun when you have clever puzzles. It’s not fun when you have to repeat tedious segments dozens of times in a row to complete a task with fractions of a second for time. It’s fun when a challenge. It’s not fun when it’s designed to just infuriate the user.
Frustrating but good graphics
I’m only giving this five stars so people will be able to see my review. The game is fun and it has good graphics, but the player is incredibly slow and the puzzles need a fast paced character and this game does not allow for that so it makes the puzzles and the game take longer and longer, and longer to do Personally and I think many people agree with me. This game is very frustrating like really frustrating because the puzzles are so hard and again as I keep repeating the character is so slow. So editors if you’re seeing this more people would play this game if the character wasn’t so slow and it wasn’t so frustrating so maybe fix that.

I love this game I think it incredible and so much fun but I’m stuck on chapter 10 I can’t make the last jump I have tried so many times and I just can’t do it could you please help

don’t get me wrong its a good game but its WAY too puzzle heavy, and there needs to be MORE CHECKPOINTS i spend 15 minutes on something just to die and have to restart all over again like WHAT
Limbo
The game is great - I came to it after finishing inside which was dark and eerie and rich with sound. I was really looking forward to playing it but it had no sound and no way better in game to set up audio. Unless I’m missing something but it certainly detracts for the experience.

Too fiddly … too “trial and error”. Even the YouTube walkthrough spends more time getting it wrong before finding a way forward.
Amazing game
Graphics and the gloomy vibe are thrilling!!! But since I play on my phone, I think some of the « scenes » are harder to succeed because you have less control than you would normally have if played on PS... I’m forever stuck in limbo in the gear scene... 10 scenes to the finish line... :( Over all very nice. You should definitely get INSIDE if you you liked this one.
NO SOUND
This game is amazing, unfortunately one of the best things about it is the sound design and it seems that since a certain iOS update the sound no longer works and doesn’t seem to be getting fixed.
Frustrated
I would love to give this game more stars because up until now I’ve loved everything about. The graphics are stunning and the creepy ambience is excellent. On the whole moving the character is easy enough BUT I find that when you have to crouch and pull an object towards you, it is very hit and miss, mostly miss, whether it works. It is incredibly frustrating when you know what you need to do but you can’t get the character to do it. I’ve been stuck on the same level for ages and it’s making be mad! 😑

My daddy told me there was going to be a limbo 2 and I was very excited but when is it getting released? I don’t know when. And also, can claymation be the art style for limbo 2?

I downloaded the free arcade version and Apple charged me for the paid version. I better get a refund. The game is okay but it’s not worth $4 esp when it was advertised as part of the arcade subscription
Great game- functionality frustrating
Game itself is interesting, fun and challenging. Functionality of the controls is infuriating.. either hyper sensitive to the touch or clumpy and non-responsive. Spoils an otherwise fantastic game.
Could be better
The game is ok. The strategy is good, but what makes it almost unplayable for me is the controls. The amount of times it does the opposite of what I am trying to do is insane. Makes it very hard. I like challenging, but not because the controls don’t work. That’s just a game flaw
Sadly the game is more a test of movement than puzzle
I found myself frustrated with executing the proper movements and timings rather than actual enjoyment of figuring out a puzzle. Executing the needed movements (e.g., run and jump) was very difficult at times. Maybe some people might like that. Just be aware.

iPad players can only play 1/3 of game.
Quite good but a third approx of way in you are stuck if playing on an iPad. Need to leap right onto floating box then further right up wall, however, game just makes you jump left once on the box into water and death. Nothing you can do to stop it. Feel there should be a warning that tablet players can only access a third of the game.
Stuck in a loop
Enjoying it but....Having got past the circular saw and had the maggot removed from my head, I decided to go backwards (to find a way forwards). But, the box is now gone and it is not possible to progress in the game as every time I die it restarts before the saw! Game flaw. It should restart at the furthest point reached.

Play limbo first.
I started to play limbo right after I finished inside because I was absolutely amazed with the graphics and play style but I highly recommend that if you want to play inside play it after you play limbo. I hate to say how disappointed I am with the bugs with jumping. I guess I just feel a bit spoiled after playing inside first. Don’t make that same mistake.

Uuugh
This was fun back when it was actually a game with spiders and evil children and not hours upon hours of moving boxes and falling of cliffs!
Brilliant BUT at £3.99 it was too short.
Brilliant game and very addictive. But at £3.99 it is expensive considering i finished it in under a day. I would recommend but be aware you will be Deleting it the following day!!
Lack of control
It’s too hard to control the character. You want to grab something but it takes 10 mins to get the character to grab it. It needs buttons. Badly.
Don’t buy for iPhone!!
Downloaded this after playing Inside - which is great on iPhone. Limbo is beautiful, eerie and intriguing. But it’s really bad on an iPhone. As you get further into the game, you can’t make the character respond quickly or accurately enough with the touch screen. Won’t work with arrows on a Bluetooth keyboard either. I ended up deleting this app angry and frustrated after a week of killing the kid trying to make the same jump and having to go back to the start of a sequence only to kill him again in the exact same place because you can’t get him to make the jump in time. There are no cheats to skip ahead. Lovely game for a different device but deducting stars for this reason. Highly recommend Inside though.
The best
The story is so mind blowing and the death scenes are so brutal and the puzzles are kinda easy but I love it :)
Too difficult
Some of the necessary maneuvers require control and timing that I cannot complete fast enough. I enjoy working out what it is I have to do, but I do not enjoy failing twenty or thirty times before I finally luck out.
A truly limbo!
INSIDE is far better. Most of the times is too tricky, I just want it to finish soon! Overall a good game!
Good game, bad controls
I really like the game but it is super annoying to play on the iPad. If I could go back in time I would have instead bought it on steam to play on my laptop. It is really really annoying when you are trying to do a fiddly bit and the controls just stop working. It happens all the time. I am using iPad Pro 12inches. I definitely do not recommend playing with that setup. But the game is really good apart from that. If there were better controls for the iPad this would have been 5 stars.
Limbo is lame
After playing (and completing) INSIDE I was stoked to check out this earlier title, but about 25% of the way through got annoyed at how technically difficult one of the challenges was and after about 50 attempts gave up. INSIDE is more about using your mind to solve the problem, whereas LIMBO is about mastering ultra-precise feather-touches on the iPhone controls. Just isn’t the same kinda fun. Probably a much more rewarding experience on XBox
Excellent game
This is an excellent game! However, chapter 37 seems to be broken. I can’t get the arrow to turn on no matter where I hit it. Therefore, I cannot go any further. Support?
Control is not sensitive
While it is a nice game, I don’t like that the little kid gets his head chopped off; and also the control is not sensitive enough for some fine movements and details, so it gets frustrating. The graphic is nice though

Interesting game
Great graphics and very atmospheric but needs a better interface/ control. When you have died for the 50th time trying to move a mantrap because there is no button for bend down/ grab/ move it gets very frustrating.
Purgatory
I love this game so much. I never usually write these things, but playing this game has made me feel things that I’ve never thought I could feel and it’s to look for somebody who is no longer there with us. I think this game has a good representation of life afterwards and also our own fears and the depression bug that gets us sick leading to….LIMBO I miss you mom and dad….🥺😢
Rubbish on iOS
Maybe I’m missing something, maybe I’m playing it wrong, or maybe this game needed more tweaks before being ported to iOS. The game is challenging and difficult at the best of times, but it’s made nearly impossible by the lack of actual controls. You randomly tap the screen to grab stuff, push stuff, pull the stuff, or jump; and you never know which one you’re going to get! Need to push something and then jump on it before getting sawed in half? Ha! Better luck next time. Honestly, a virtual “action” button would have fixed this issue. As it is, it’s infuriating and really detracts from the atmosphere, puzzles and art - which are all superb...now if I could only grab onto this ledg- AAAAARGHH
It’s ok
It’s just hard to control using your phone. I tried so many times to jump from on side to the other on the 4th chapter but it doesn’t work. I don’t know if it’s a bug or something but it’s impossible to finish that chapter, the game doesn’t seem to let me. It is better played on pc
Really Irritating
Atmosphere and puzzles good. Actual gameplay and controls awful. For example, I spend minutes just trying to get in exactly the right position and stance needed to pull something. So you don’t succeed by being able to work out puzzles but by pure tolerance with trying the controls again and again. Great shame.

An interesting game. For the most part the controls work well enough. But on reaching the rope climb over the cogs the controls will not respond quick enough. Have try using finger, stylus and the pencil to no avail. Not sure if this is a game fault, more likely the I pad 2018 as the controls respond unreliably.
