Love playing scala,I play about 3 times a week at my club and this game keeps me sharp.but I have never seen hands going out as fast as 2 draws that’s almost unheard of

Graphics are great. Algorithm needs to be better to receive 5 stars. When playing against 3 balanced computer players, and the players lay down their melds; the algorithm keeps on distributing the cards so that the players ALWAYS have on hand 3 or 4 cards, but never 2 cards left over at the end, how so? And from the beginning of the game, 2 or 3 players start laying down their melds almost all of their cards, how so? And the player’s cards (me) are all mixed/messed up and in few minutes the game is over. Please fix!
Ridiculously weighted games
I’ve never played a game of cards where you have zero chance to win because the games are weighted so heavily against you and in favour of the opponent with a hire ranking

This app has two major issues. Firstly, the game should reward the closures and punish those who need to “buy” back in after going over 150. Secondly, the computer players should play more conservatively; meaning, don’t play jokers which are live; don’t play an attachment card unless it’s secure; don’t come down unless you are safely under 150 points.

Beware the sub-routine which, I'm quite sure, the programmer titled "terror mode". Whatever the configuration of your computer opponents or level of skill assigned, there's apparently a "trigger" ( I haven't figured it out) that sends the game into a horrible sequence of commands that obliterate any hope of winning.

I understand the purpose of ads and don’t mind viewing them for the sake of a free app 😉. That being said, 30 second ads in between the same game is insane! At least after a complete game instead of each round

Thank you so much for this app. I love this game, I play it since I was old enough to count. I played it with my brother almost every day when he was sick, until the day he died. To this day, every time I play I imagine my brother playing with me and I remember all the good times we had together. Thank you!
Ads ads ads… and more ads
I get ads are needed to fund this app, but ads after each round? I would understand an ad after each game, like other apps, but each round? And some of these ads are 30 seconds. The best is when you open the app again, it replays the end of your last game and goes straight to an ad, then loads the option to end the game and yup, plays another ad before the game starts. lol, too funny. Been playing this app for years, but it’s time to find a new one.

Lately when ending a game and wanting to start a new game, the ads seem to take over playing and replaying every time you try to close or to play again. This is the third time I delete the app and reinstall it. Last chance before I delete completely. Hope you find a fix
Good game, but...
I haven’t been able to stop playing this game, which has become my go-to app to use while riding the subway. Sadly, that doesn’t mean that the app is necessarily flawless. One thing that really bugs me is that the “title” that comes up when you launch the app is upside down, so you end up always turning your phone several times before realising the correct way to orient it. Such an easy thing to fix! Secondly, I’d find a better spot to place the ads, because having them over your own cards is the worst, and you end up clicking on them most of the times.

I’m super happy there’s an app for Scala, I just play with the computer for fun and I love that with a score game u can stop playing and next time u go on that game is still in play. One thing that choked me is I can’t go out on the first round but the computer can!?!?
Latest update crashes
Never had a problem until this last update. LOVE this game. Please fix it.

Not worth your time
Garbage game. If you play score game against the app it’s not a randomness if you win. Literally the games you win are not because you played well but only bc the algorithm made you win. Very poor app

This game is fantastic, but in the last few months there are so many adverts, even between hands that it makes it sooooo frustrating to play. Have stopped playing it and I’m now playing games with fewer or no adverts. I understand the need for adverts but this is ridiculous.

One of the better Scala 40 game out there
Alright
It’s a fairly good game but I rate it a two because it is rather predictable. Higher ranking players win at least 85 to 90 percent of the time. Yes - I did track it. Seems to be tilted in favour of the higher rankings. Other than that, it can be enjoyable if you are looking to learn the game or stay sharp for real life card games.

Secondo me bisognerebbe togliere l’impossibilità di scartare una carta che può essere usata dall’avversario per attaccare a terra. Per Strategia Se l'avversario ha tre carte io scarto una carta che puo usare per attaccare a terra rimangono due ed è difficile per lui chiudere

Games pretty good but when you go 5-6 games in a row without a joker or you pull 15-20 cards and still have only 39 points there’s a problem!!!

Something wrong
When playing with the computer, I’m unable to pick up from the discarded cards unless I put down my minimum 40 points. The computer can pick up a discarded card and use it in the meld without displaying the 40 points first. Very discouraging and gives the computer unfair advantage.

Il gioco non è male anche se potevano impegnarsi un po’ di più con il design ma 2 volte su 3 si blocca la partita con altri giocatori.

Playing against the computer sucks
Whenever I try to play online, no other players are available so I am forced to face the computers. I HATE playing with them since they magically need every card I drop. Scala 40 is fun when the games last a long time and are challenging, but the computers win within seconds.. very very frustrating.
