Time waste and no matches
The worst thing about this app is that you have to fill in each and every detail of you while applying to any campaign including your name address and everything. Who wants to do that while applying for a campaign every single time? Secondly there are no matches at all and I am not a beginner and have worked with various top level brands and campaign already. Just a waste of timez

Generic and poor communication
I signed up, provided all my personal details, and spent time completing the application, including entering my card details, which I personally don’t think should be required before securing a campaign. For days, no campaigns appeared and I was repeatedly told to wait or that it could be a technical issue. Eventually, I was told my profile had been rejected and advised to grow my account and engagement. The ironic part is that I already have 100K+ followers and consistently reach around 20M monthly views. (Organic growth) The response felt very generic and didn’t explain why my profile was actually rejected. I immediately deleted my account.

Aux créateurs de contenu ! J’ai attendu presque un an avant d’avoir une proposition de collaboration sérieuse mais elle est arrivée, et tout s’est passé très proprement, sans problèmes. Je recommande, si vous êtes pressés, l’appli a elle seule ne fait pas de miracles mais elle peut vous apporter des collaborations.
You can't choose pricing for yourself
Apps great in theory but its the only app that won't let you choose your own pricing, your forced to price in a range that they want (which is very low) then can't apply if you price yourself any higher then what the creators of the app want

They make you put a card on file after you've filled out all the info and uploaded all creator videos and pictures of previous work. AVOID!!!

What are these offerings?
Collabstr used to have such great collaborations available and now they have things like vape phone cases? Along with brands that ghost creators/discriminate? This platform used to be really great for opportunities and I was excited to see they finally have an app. Now, not so much.

Not for beginners
I’ve made an account 4 months ago with notifications on so that way I won’t pass up any opportunities my page has been literally no campaigns not even one show up I contact customer service yesterday and they replied they were unable to approve my application at this time and didn’t have a reason why but they want me to continue to grow and engage to content and I’m welcome to reapply 🤣🤣if your a beginner reading this “joinbrands” is your go to app and they won’t waste your time thank me later

Rarely new opportunities
Unfortunately, I do think that a lot of the reviews are fake been on this app for a year haven’t got one opportunity. I have well over 500,000 followers. I’ve worked with hundreds of Amazon and TikTok UGC shops and companies and not a single thing I’ve gotten better luck from posting on Instagram that I have on this app I would not recommend honestly the fact that this app has five stars is everything you need to know

it’s so easy to find different brands and the brands to find you. I truly love this platform and for the moment is the best app for me as a platform to find good deals with brands.
Scam
The fact that they force you to put a card on file after you filled out all your information and upload your videos and give them personal information is a scam. This should be done at the very beginning. Please delete my account. I do not consent the use or sale of my information or consent.

The worst app ever
I completed and submitted my video through the app using the submission button, and the order was clearly marked as completed. I even received an email confirmation stating it was completed. Days later, the app suddenly changed the status, unassigned my completed video, and now claims it was submitted “incorrectly.” If the submission button is not meant to submit final deliverables, then it should not exist or should be clearly explained. The video was fully completed, uploaded, and approved by the system at first yet I still have not received my payment. Support has been extremely frustrating and inconsistent, placing the blame on the creator despite following the exact steps provided in the app. This platform wastes creators’ time and effort, offers poor communication, and fails to protect completed work. I would not recommend this app to any creator expecting professionalism or reliable payouts.
On the way up
As a content creator on this platform for the last few years, I can tell recently there’s been an uptick in clients and business. Seems like this platform is on the way up! Very reasonable fees as well, 15% fee versus almost 30% I used to pay on fiverr
