Garbage
After taking all my info, this app will still not log in. So NYC is taking part of my paycheck to invest here and I can’t even access it.😡
Solid App
I mostly just use this to check whether my investments have gone up or down but the opening page dashboard makes it easy to look at that
Doesn’t load
Too many times when I try to open the app I just get a blank screen.
Accessibility
I strongly suggest that for your Stable Account portion of your investment site you strongly make sure that people with all types of disabilities can access and utilize your app and website independently. Currently it is not accessible for those who use screen reading software. Such as Jaws For Windows. Voiceover on the iPhone or any other Apple device. You should really check into the Accessibility of your site. I was not able as a person who uses screen reading software due to my disability to select when there’s a menu to select the date if I want to change my monthly contribution. I could not select a different bank account where I wanted my withdrawal to go because the way your site is set up is not accessible for someone that uses a keyboard to operate either using the website nor does it work on an iPhone using voiceover as the screen reader application software. Your financial institution has agreed to house the Stable Account. I live in Ohio. Sometimes I don’t have time to call and sit on the phone to do withdrawals exchanges or add to my contributions. That is why there is a website and an app on my phone. I should be able to access that information without any barriers due to the fact that you did not think about the customer in which you are serving. People with disabilities. I would like to seriously see some changes and some consideration for those who have chosen to invest with your financial institution.

Account Sync Issues
Account sync issues and lack of customer service.
Easy access
Previous login issues seem to have mostly been solved. Still not totally seemless but the app itself is clean and has all the features I need.
Annoying
For the past few months, every time I open the app and log in with biometrics the app will read them, start loading, then reset at the very initial screen and ask for biometrics again. This occurs consistently three times before the long loading process actually starts! On the latest iOS 17 on iPhone. Hoping the developers can address this bug. Otherwise, the app has been satisfactory for managing my Roth 401(k) plan.
Not Optimized for iPhone
Using this app, I can see they are just loading a mobile version of their website into a container. Not necessarily bad, but when the container is not properly padded like this app. The swip up from home feature and double tap for siri feature are activated often. Some quick Ui fixes are needed.

Very happy with the user-friendliness of this app. Been using Vestwell for several years and have always been impressed with their technology and service
Terrible
My company just converted to Vestwell and the app is an embarrassment The login screen locks and doesn’t process. And given that I work for a tech company, there is no way we would put something that fails this quickly out in the public eye . It’s downright shameful I’m looking forward to our board meeting at the end of the week.
Works, and pretty well
UPDATE - Way to go, Vestwell! One of my biggest complaints has been addressed! The latest update now allows users to use Face ID to log in! And no annoying text code! Good job, Vestwell!
Glitchy
Many things can’t be viewed properly on a phone. Often hard to get into the app. Just overall an underwhelming experience.

Slow to load, password autofill is terrible. Maybe fix the sign in workflow before doing anything else

This is one of the worst performing apps I’ve ever come across. Impossible to get past the Sign In screen. Just freezes. And throws you back to Welcome Screen. I can’t believe JP Morgan Chase partners with this company.

Just a website
This app is basically just the website with extra loading screens. Please consider creating a real app so this isn't so slow and difficult to use.
Easy interface. Worth the switch!
My employer uses Vestwell and the switch has made my investing journey simple. The interface, goal tracking features, and (again) its simplicity wins. I am sure there’s other ways to optimize your experience but for me, it’s a long term set it and forget it.
App opens and closes
Just downloaded the app yesterday and I have yet to be able to access any information on my account. For now I guess I will have to log into my computer to check the account. Please fix the issue.

App is glitching! This is a continuation of the same issue after restarting my phone 2 times. *Glitch freeze after I login in to my account.
Best 401(k) platform with the best app.
There isn’t a better value in the 401(k) platform space then that well with all the services and feature they offer. It’s an obvious choice with transparent pricing that’s clear and understandable and not littered with extensive tiki tech fees.
Can’t login
Made an account online and put in my login credentials then it loads to a blank screen. Useless app.
Bad UX, buggy
Navigating and completing simple tasks is very difficult. When I tried to send an email to customer service I got an error message that said ‘Our server dropped the ball.’
Same problem as others. Logs in, then blank,page
I have tried the new vestwell app on my iPad air and iPhone 16 with iOS 18.4 to access Calable. It logs in just like the web site, then hangs up (unlike the web site), then returns to the login page. Does not matter if I use FaceID or not. Vestwell, please fix and test before release. Fortunately, I can access the website.
