FORCED ADS WHENEVER YOU WANT TO LEVEL UP
Now its a decent game but compared to the others exactly like it these absolute POS made it so that each time you want to level up your character you forced into ads after and the Best part theres no messsed up money stealing option to keep forced ads off as the rest of the exact type of game have done! Thanks for making what already exist but worse.

Probably one of the best mobile games I ever played! Great graphics, fun and the free version has no forced ads! Ive never seen that before ! I love this game even if it gets long to upgrade tour octopus sometimes
Fun but could be better
The developers have taken away to many of the things that made the game great. Used to be able to unlock special fish in the deep, decorations are gone but you can still run into them. But the worst thing they have done is take away all of the events where you could earn % upgrades and red pearls. Money hungry.

mariana trench
i have been waiting for the "mariana trench" unlock, it says unlocked in the next update and the update never came, spent money in the game so i could get stuck waiting for an update that never came
Really fun game but…
I’ve played the game a coup of years and really enjoy it. With that said, the latest update renders the game unplayable. After the game loads it brings gas you to a screen that says “UPGRADES UNLOCKED” the background says “I can’t believe you did it so you finally reached the deep sea. The deep sea is warmer than other seas so pay attention to the temperature bar. The higher is goes the weaker you become.” Then there’s a white glove pointing and telling you to tap the blue octopus icon in the corner. Clicking the button does nothing. Restarting the app doesn’t fix it. Restarting the phone doesn’t fix it. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn’t fix it. There are no more updates on the App Store to fix it. Wondering if the developers plan to fix this or if this latest update intentionally killed the game so they could stop supporting it? If not the case, please fix!
Game in Development Limbo
10/14/25. Game hasn’t had any significant update in a substantial period of time. The “Trench” is in developer limbo and I fear there never will be an update. If this bothers you, stay away. If it doesn’t, enjoy the game for what it is.
Good game
I liked the game. Haven’t been on it in a while. But I went back and seemed to be stuck at the upgrades unlocked screen.
Update
I’ve been waiting for them to update this game for a year now I’ve done everything there is to do in the game and the next area is waiting to be unlocked “in the next update” they’ve updated the game 20-30x and still haven’t expanded it at all.
Abandoned.
Look at the what’s new history… it’s an AI-generated loop of nothingness. There have been no updates at all for well over a year. Nothing further in the trench, invisible walls, uncatchable drones despite being maximum level and upgrades… this game isn’t “bad” but don’t spend money on “abandonware.” There have been zero meaningful updates in years.
Sadness customers service
I found some in games bugs, after 30 times tries to contact customer service by email , in game reports, in game chat and all ways. Still no response! Do they have customer support? I think is AI generated (automatic idiotic) generated

Mildly addictive but needs updating
Could be a good game if you have plenty of spare time and don’t mind a slow build up of skills. However there are several places where there are invisible blocks that need removing by the devs.
Having an issue
**UPDATE 09/13/2025** The game working once more! Changed my review to 5 stars as promised 😎 I’ve really enjoyed this game from the moment I downloaded it. It’s super addictive and a great way to pass the time when I’m bored. However, the last few days I haven’t been able to play. The game starts to load but then gets stuck on a dark screen with the message about reaching “the deep” where it’s hotter. It also says upgrades have been unlocked and to tap the blue square with the octopus emblem, but no matter how many times I tap it, nothing happens. I hope this issue can be fixed soon because I truly miss playing! (Will change rating to 5-Stars upon issue being fixed. This game is truly worth the 5 star rating.)

When is the trench going to be open?
Made a purchase, and didn’t get my 18k shells
The game is great, however, the updates are slow. We have been waiting for months for the trench update. Also, I recently purchased a small boost and didn’t receive my 18k shells. Not a deal breaker since it was only $3.99, but still not okay for that to happen. Also, there seems to be a cap on your progress like movement speed and catch radius, please fix these issues.
Too long
It’s taking a really long time to upgrade and getting new arms on my octopus. And I’ve been playing this every day and I’m not even a pro yet
Dead spots
There are two spots that you can’t swim through in the latest update. One is below the research facility and one is to the left of the melting facility. New update seems otherwise good besides the previous nerfing and elimination of certain items
Best game if you ❤️ sea life
Look if you don’t like sea life but if you do you must get it. My son got it and he LOVES it he got it today and he can’t stop playing it. Just one thing, why do you need WIFI to play its offline can you delete the hole you needing WIFI can you?

Invisible walls, never updating additions in The Deep, can’t use most of Hell Market, absolutely ZERO response from support (not even a chat bot?!?!)… get your act together.
Fun game but still waiting
Lots of fun with lots of rotating options for new prizes and advancing but the Mariana’s trench portal has said it would be available in the next update for months now and while there have been some good upgrade changes i still excitedly waiting. Looking forward to the update when it is finally ready.
Puzzles in iPad but not iPhone
How does it make any sense if me and my son have the same game he just started and he has these puzzles down at the bottom and I have nothing like that on mine and I’ve had my game for a while. Just confusing if you could explain it to me you’ll get a better review.

There is an update every week, but nothing ever changes for the better or the worse. Don’t waste your time on this game. Definitely don’t waste your money.

Put in time upgrading the mines and other aspects and the new update has basically removed progress.

Please stop nerfing
Had this game for a while, and I do enjoy it. It’s a bit of a grind, but you can earn what you need as long as you’re a little bit creative. One of the things that I do have a specific problem with, is that they keep nerfing stats that you grind to get which I understand is important for newer players to extend the play ability of the game however, please don’t keep pulling farmable resources(20 spawn locations ) if you’re trying to save computing just drop them down to a simpler pattern or remove the run away AI makes everything a lot simpler. It is a bit of a battery hog, but with how much that they’ve packed into the game still pretty enjoyable. Best regards.
Upgrade doesn’t work
Some upgrades like catching speed from melting fields (catching speed +20k) doesn’t work. After this upgrade I had the same amount of catching speed like before.. Reloading game not help. 290k before and after 🤨 the same worth health I had 819 and after melting field upgrade I shod have +400 but I don’t have. Still 819. 🤬
Fun lil game BUT..
Your last update broke some things. 1- the big octopus you fight to get 100 clams. Well, now when you fight it your speed is reduced after the battle to less than 1/2. Have to restart the game to get your speed back. 2- all the high value fish in the deep as well as the static things you farm for bone are gone. All the things I unlocked have disappeared. Now what, guys?

The app is awesome. Great graphics and used to be lots to do not so much now. I have been waiting for 2 years for promised update. Not going to happen is it. Now you cannot even reach support. I do not want to wait any longer. New players do not invest any money. You can only go so far then that is it. I cannot even get add rewards any longer. You should have kept going with this app.

Game is lots of fun though I would recommend the developers to make it so one can play the game using their pencil as of now you can only use your finger to control the octopus.
Event rewards not working
The rewards for the events aren’t working properly and when I try to contact support in game the button doesn’t work

After the update to the deep, I lost one of my 10 tentacles, and frequently move slower than molasses. Also, the “freeze” ability doesn’t seem to do anything to the things I’m trying to hunt. They just move at their normal speed, not slower like the ability claims. Lost a lot of the fun…

Contacted Dev and Support team multiple times via their game support chat. No one has ever replied. Really the worst support I’ve ever encountered.

The game is good and addictive and was working fine until I done the 1.4.0 update and since the update the game is no longer working it just stays on the loading screen and just stays there it’s been like this for 2days now I hope it gets fixed soon as I don’t wanna have to get rid of the game 😔

Though just completed part 4 of submarine building and it has crashed and won’t load past title/ loading screen, just stuck on ‘scene loaded’. Please fix this bug… :)

Update to say developer has done an update 10 hours ago but mine still won’t load. I have deleted and reinstalled but no luck. Saw this on an ad and downloaded. It won’t load past the title screen. Shame as it looks like another game I play which I’ve completed.
