What they complain about

- Video and audio are out of sync.

Terrible app
This app is not good first off the greed of all these companies is outrageous! Secondly I haven’t traveled in a while and it keeps saying my 30 day couch rights needs to be reset and in order for me to do that I have to delete the app and re download it. The Yankees are greedy NY is greedy and the software for this app is terrible
Inconsistent audio levels
The volume while streaming the game is very low, so when the ads come on, they are crazy loud. Extremely frustrating. Please fix the inconsistent volume between game and ads.
Just ok on Apple TV
Not a lot of functionality to begin with like pausing or going back is almost impossible. And it hangs very often during games to the point that I need to reboot the app. Should be wayyyy easier to do this. Not like they’re the first.
Failure of an app
Fails to allow me to stream despite fact I have tv subscription
Nice when it works
Has most of the games. Usually works well. When it does not work though there's no fixing it and support is next to useless. Amazing you pay money for a bit to link you to articles
Eh its ok
First time with this app and really not happy with it. We use this app on our smart TV with Roku stick and now have had to personally call Gotham a few times because of out of area message, when we never left the area! So they have to reset it for me by having me go online and telling them IP address then have to sign in and out of app several times and even delete app and re-install just to get it to work again! Now they tell me to sign in and out before 30 days so it doesn’t happen again! So frustrating! Will not be purchasing again next year
Worst App Ever
Constantly freezes, keeps playing ads while game is playing, starts on pregame and impossible to fast forward to live action. Just the worst app to ever exist
Thank goodness for DAZN
This app is genuinely awful - difficult to use and constantly glitchy. Very happy I won’t need to watch games here next season.
Sound annoyances
The app is OK, and I appreciate being able to watch the Yankees games. I am not sure if this is an app issue or not. The sound mix is annoying. The announcers are too soft and the crowd noise too loud. When you turn up to hear the announcers better, you get blasted by how loud the commercials are.
Poor Performance
Constantly kicked out of the App and half the time the picture is extremely blurry. NOT worth the high cost!
Sign in is torture
Please get a QR code so I can take a picture and sign in using my phone. Also, the broadcast of the games don’t freeze but many times the video and audio are not synched. This happens occasionally across all of my devices.
Horrible delay
This is a pretty decent app for the most part, however some of the games are horribly delayed. I went to watch the Yankees game and it’s not playing until 3 hours after the game. Honestly what’s the point of this app then. This happens quite often, get it together Gotham sports..
Terrible this year
Gotham Sports app is so bad this year. The audio and video are consistently out of sync, sometimes by minutes, yet the commercials are always in sync. During tonight’s pivotal bottom of the 7th, the app never came back from a pitching change, showed ten minutes of commercials and came back in the top of the 8th. We missed the Yankee’s go ahead home run. Just terrible.
Great, when it works
Ever since YES became part of Gotham Sports, it times out incessantly. Not a fun way to watch a game. Features are great, picture quality and sound are top notch but it is frustrating at best to have to constantly kill the app and relaunch. Gotham - this is pricey - DO BETTER.
Default to “Play” tab is annoying.
Why do the developers of this app default the vertical view to show the “play” tab? I just want to watch the game and see stats. Why can’t we just enjoy the game without being constantly prompted to guess outcomes? Let us just enjoy the game. Is that too much to ask. Could the default tab be something related to the game like actual stats or the lineup??? It’s idiotic that this is not the obvious thing on the page.
Terrible App
Garbage app that won’t load video even when cable is connected. Do yourself a favor and don’t try to use this app. A disgrace to all Yankee fans.
Awful App
Quite possibly one of the worst functioning apps, takes forever to load, click a live game it will take you to the pregame broadcast show, you have to navigate the app to find the live showing, it crashes all the time… $20+ a month to watch a game that should be televised in my area and it’s barely functional.
The WORST APP EVER
DONT BOTHER!! WASTE of TIME!! The YANKEES SHOUlD BE ASHAMED of SUCH GARBAGE!!!!!!! This app SUUCKS! The WORST EVER! Constant FREEZE!! WINNINGS CANT BE CLAIMED!!!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUUCKS! FIXXED!!!!!!!!! HOUSE ALWAYS WINS!!!!
Not worth it
Not worth it you don’t even get every game. You only get a few games, especially if you’re a Yankee fan.
Good riddance
Terrible app. Glad it’s closing up shop. Rarely worked. Logging in was near impossible. Got errors constantly.
app
app constantly freezes
Never works
After losing access to YES app and moving to this app unable to watch ANY game via my phone. Only get something went wrong. Have latest update and iPhone up to date. Useless
Login flow iOS TV
The latest release of the app has broken the login flow on my Apple TV. It asks you to use Google SSO but no login prompts are shown in iOS TV or my iPhone.
This app is genuinely terrible
It does not work
Volume problems
I notice that on the Samsung app the volume is so low and the commercials are louder. Is this something that can be fixed please? I need to have my TV volume at like 75 in order to hear it and other apps I’m at 30
