Love TodayTix - I use it for every Broadway purchase - a few more perks for ongoing business would be nice but always easy to use and convenient even for last minute purchases

Makes you select info mining selections before setting up your account. Deleting this app as soon as the show is over.

Late tix
My tix never arrived in my App until I complained.
Wonderful & Frustrating
The deals this app dishes up are fantastic, and I love that I can flag a future show for the app to notify me when it’s available. But I hate that LA and OC events are locked together. Sure, SOME people are willing to travel to see a show. But it’s frustrating to get exciting over a listing in the app to realize it’s in OC when I live in LA. In this day and age when so many people aren’t willing to drive across LA alone for something, let people explore these counties separately. Please!
Easy As Can Be
Tix is so easy to use. There are so many plays to choose from and it just takes two clicks to complete your order. Awesome app!
Not Reliable
EDIT: Don’t bother contacting customer service after they send you an “apology” email. You’ll be met with AI generated responses. I just saw a show where the entire principal cast was out. It was a mix of scheduled absences and last minute understudies. I was under the impression that TodayTix has notifications when purchasing tickets if there are any scheduled absences, that’s been my experience thus far at least. However, their customer support notified me that is not always the case which is really unfortunate. As a gold level member I had come to trust this app and it’s usually pretty amazing customer service. I don’t know what changed but there was no notification of the scheduled absence, their customer service agent was rude and unwilling to help. I won’t be putting my trust in TodayTix again after this.
My main app for shows
I always use TodayTix to explore shows and get the best deals. Booking is easy and you can find the booked tickets all in one place. I only had an issue when using the voucher from ticket protection claim.
Can't get a ticket
I'm trying everyday to get rush ticket for Back to the future🥹But never able to get one..
Tends to Freeze
I enjoy using the app as it has access to many shows at good prices. But the app has the tendency to freeze up.
Great Tixs!
I scan 3 different ticket sites before purchasing tickets. TodayTix consistently has the best pricing and seat inventory. The ability to insure your tixs is unique to TodayTix and is a big PLUS too. Their reward program is very generous as well.
Re-book Grease
Got a message sent through at 1.30 saying show was cancelled no explanation, sent a code over to rebook when trying to rebook for another show the price was showing more. Done a chat online and got told there is nothing they can do terrible service. No help offered
Quick and easy
I am using this app for most of my theatre visits. It’s easy to use and the process is quick. The only annoying thing is that the tickets cannot be placed in the phone’s wallet - that would make it all so much more convenient!

HSM tickets
Easy transaction, however, I am unable to save tickets to my apple wallet like normal and screenshots of tickets are not accepted. The only way to access tickets is in the todaytix app which is always an issue when apps and emails do not load when arriving at the theatre. Usually I like to save to apple wallet to save having to battle with the 4G and 5G in London to open an app.
Easy to use, convenient & good prices
It is a pleasure to buy from bed and not stand in line. The prices are modest. One can buy shortly before curtain time.
Horrible
Just the worst app/site ever. Glitch wouldn’t let me purchase tickets for some reason but it kept charging them refunding my card. Ended up going to the musical website and bought same exact seats that wouldn’t work — for less.

No longer operating in Toronto?
Really sad that they don’t seem to cover the city of Toronto any longer. One of the largest theatre cities in the world! A blend of massive productions and numerous smaller, local theatres… but they seem to have pulled out for some reason. Pretty sad that they couldn’t seem to make it work.

Found much cheaper tickets on SeatPlan, with also helpful info about restricted views in UK theatres.
Brokeback Mountain
I saw Brokeback Mountain at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in Chicago, IL today and it wrecked me in the best way. Ashley Robinson’s adaptation is lean and honest — no fluff, just two men and an impossible love story that spans decades. The live country songs were an unexpected touch that hit harder than I anticipated. Jack Cameron Kay and Harrison Ball are incredible together, and I’m still thinking about it hours later.
Disgraceful
I bought two tickets to the show “disruption”, and I cannot retrieve my tickets unless I install the todaytix app. And even then I cannot print them and I cannot add them to my iPhone wallet. This is a disgraceful way to do business, and it sours me on the whole Signature Theater experience.
Lead Actor Over Does it
Loved everything except for the lead actors performance, where he was far too creepy and overacting from the first seat instead of building to the convulsions etc, he was over the top from the beginning. I don’t know if this is a director’s problem or the actor can’t hold back. Loved everything else about it, but his performance was distracting rather than engaging.
Conversion USD to CAD is the wrong rate, too expensive.
Please never paid in a currency other than uSD. The rates to cover USd to Cad is 20% higher, and the fees double.
Generally great, but uses dark UX patterns
General it’s a helpful app, but I bought my first ticket today and experienced this: it first gave me an error when I tried buying specific seats at a specific date („ran out of ticket hold time“ although the timer still showed 4 minutes). When I reloaded page and app 10 seconds later, the seats were £2 pounds more expensive. (Reloaded 3x because I couldn’t get through). This makes me wary tbh and wonder if they use dynamic pricing models to test my price limit and increase my personal price if they know my preferences or limitations. Not excited. :(
Incentive to see more theater!
Easy to use. Really encourages me to see more theater since the cost of tickets is manageable!

Not in my city
Great app in general but I put that I was in Toronto and still saw the shows in New York (which I didn't know at the time) so i enter the lotteries which I won and purchased two tickets for 100$ for something I could'nt attend.. (still great prices and only reason why they received 2 starts, if it's in your area or if you are capable of travaling to go). I emailed them right away and they said the tickets were not refundable so I just wasted my money for something that was 8 hours away..
Tickets cancelled then rebooked for more
The site was good and got us what we wanted; however, after booking tickets to one show, the tickets got cancelled a few weeks later. I then had to rebook the same tickets, but for a much higher price. Very disappointing

I paid for Mezzanine seats and received Rare Mezzanine seats which were considerably less expensive than what I had paid.

Never been lucky to win a lottery yet! Bought tickets to Cluedo but had issues gaining access to my tickets. Box office came to the rescue.

Love My Broadway Options
The app just make easier to purchase the shows I want to see. And the digital purchase instead of going into the theater early in the morning makes my day easier and less stressful!
Lottery push notifications no longer work
I used to receive push notifications when it was time to enter the TodayTix lottery, but the app hasn’t sent any in months. I’ve written into support several times, but they only have AI support now and it doesn’t do anything
Time delay
When tickets become live , the quantity required often does not work before allocation is exhausted

Fantastic app use it every day gives me the latest and greatest things to do in New York City. Super easy to use.
Buyer beware - not going to save money here……
I wound up being charged $10 more for my tickets then if I had got them directly from the Hollywood bowl website. There is no way to actually talk to anybody and if you don’t spend extra money on their ticket protection, there’s nothing you can do. So do your due diligence before buying tickets with them.
