love
really like this app
Not what I would pick
When I first got the app, it had nothing what I wanted to read and barely any books, both and novels and comics, I couldn’t search anything either so I couldn’t find what I wanted. there were only like three books in each category and there were only about five categories. Definitely not picking this up again maybe if it gets better though.
Long review/complaint please read this for tips.
So, this app has some downsides and upsides. It barely had ads, but my complain is that the stories/novels had absolutely no pictures. It felt really boring like reading a simple book. And usually pictures describe the scene and people, but all they did is a little circle with a AI slop image. Also i noticed that at least the 3rd one is coins. Yes, i know that you get coins very often. But, its kinda useless. Unless you get money for it, but i still find it useless since most people cant afford to pay for coins if you have to. Some people can but most people cant, this part isn’t really an issue, just my opinion. Also i suggest for a tip, i suggest that you make the stories actually have some pictures, due to attention spans being bad these days. Most teenagers or kids on here like to use their imagination with a bit of context like a photo, but there’s none on here. Another tip is that to use those little bubbles or like fake sound effects in text or in a sound thing so it’s like “woosh.” Thank you for making this app and trying to make it better, this app is mid but it’s not bad at all. And i suggest having little stickers for the comments if you want since it’ll be a nice last touch. Thank you for reviewing and reading my review, i wish you the best on this app for your journey and that it turns out well <3 .
Free
This app is free for lots of comics and the comics are well drawn and high quality
it’s bad
literally doesn’t have any good ones. i downloaded because the ad showed an isekai genre but it’s just gooner ones.
It’s good
It’s good
Isn’t that good…
To be completely honest I haven’t read much because most of the stories r kinda basic and somehow boring? Idk but most of the novels r kindaaa gooner material? And the things that u need more points is not my favorite and keeps me from reading less…so really mid!the only one I read that was kinda good turned out to be less how do I say it hooked? As in like I lost interest.
Great light novels!
I've been wanting to read Gonna Be the Twintail since the anime released like a decade ago so I'm excited it see it finally get translated. Also happy to see A Salad Bowl of Eccentrics.
Underwhelming
You would think Shogakukan would want to make this a flagship manga app to compete against Shueisha and Viz. But... all the manga available is already on Comikey. The "subscription" option is pitiful for $9.99. Who is this for? AI?? C'mon.
DONT GET
To be honest the whole thing is mid. I honestly didn’t like the way the novels were set up and how you have to get points to read more that pmo. I don’t like the app and all there is are gooner novels.
nice
rlly good
AI Slop
The developer does not disclose this here or within the app, but the titles feature within are machine translated. Furthermore, they edited out all dialogue-adjacent narration in favor of speech bubbles with character art icons because, according to their own press material, they believe readers are too dumb to remember the names of the characters in the book they are reading. Buy or rent e-books of your favorite light novel series from reputable publishers and skip this platform.
Cant find any peak
All i could find was GOONER manga but i guess when you get points you get alot so thats nice
