Update: Please update your games!! I would love to continue playing them all with the extra quality of life additions to newer games. Love the game so much!! So many fun features. The only thing is by the time you’ve made it enough to set up a publishing house, I never have enough weekly energy to read submissions. Even though I’m married, have transport and house, and maxed out Food and Health. Kind of makes it pointless! I’d be happy to watch ads for energy or something.

Rap star better
It’s okay but WAY too grindy. I downloaded this one because rap star was awesome, but this one isn’t great. Properties don’t give rent, cars seem worthless, why buy a car that depreciates and pay insurance weekly? What’s the gain? It doesn’t explain it
Don’t understand
So I downloaded this but it had no instructions so I was completely lost in the game and I had no idea what buttons did what, I’d love it if you could have a tutorial or something to guid us through until we know all the controls
The Addictive Time-Waster
This was a dangerously compelling game that hooked my attention with its gamified writing mechanics. This game slaughtered some of my minutes at night without any shame, and so, no matter how much of a masterpiece this game is, I could only give it a three. Slaughtered my productivity for the night, man… If you really have nothing better to do in your life, give this a try and become a champion at it if you dare.

Didn’t want to make this as I was liking it but for my first book I’m trying to make the cover and then in the cover creation section there’s no next and so I go back and the cover hasn’t saved - I’m stuck and can’t continue.

I love this app, it is fun, silly ( in a good way) and enjoyable, but it’s not for beginners and I feel there should be a few more options. For an example, getting up to 2 jobs and you can do them for as long as you want. Maybe having weekly or daily tasks to complete to make the week in This app even more fun ( which seems impossible based off of how good this but nothing is impossible)

Tothe developers, its a good game that gives a lot of freedom, but the game feels very unfair, i have a 100 overall character and its the same as having a low tier character plus the viral part of the book is ALWAYS low even when i have 100 of it for my character and This affecting the Sales of my books, Please change this little problems and you get 5 stars

Love this game but there are a couple of things I wish were added. 1. Can we add our own pictures for the book covers because the ones offered are extremely limited. 2. Can there be more promotion methods i.e. newspapers, billboards etc. 3. Can there be a guide provided on the app because it isn’t the most beginner friendly game. 4. Make the genre scroll bigger.

Le jeu est incroyable comme tout les jeux de ces devs, le seul problème actuellement c’est qu’on ne peut pas restaurer les achats qu’on a fait. Étant un joueur qui a mis de l’argent sur tout vos jeux je suis un peu déçu de ne pas pouvoir récupérer mes amélioration comme on pouvait le faire avant. En espérant que cette option reviendra car là ça me donne pas très envie de rejouer…
Good to begin with
It’s good at the start, however unless you buy energy it gets to the point where you can’t really do much & have to end the week. Another review said this too & I’ve emailed with no response, but making your own cover art has no option to save & continue- I’ve tried scrolling down as the dev replied to another comment but there is literally no option. That leaves you having to spend $ for AI cover art, etc. This app also has no intro on how to use it, so it took me a while to understand. Good app in theory, but a lot of holes in it which hopefully can be fixed in future.

Such a hooking game
Great game but one thing is missing😬
The game is amazing and realism is top notch, but there aren’t enough book covers and i really wish there was a feature that allowed players to put in their own book covers from their personal photos. Aside from there being a lack of options for book covers the game is pretty great and there are a lot of pros and not a lot of cons. Still, I do hope you add the feature it would make the game a whole lot better!

Played 15 hours plus NONSTOP
Game is addicting but i realized its pointless. U cant own properties or get to the top finance without paying. Im possible to get money or company offer from writing even at 90% quality. You need to get possibly enough EXP which takes so long by that time you wont have enough energy to just die. You wont have inheritance so all the hard work is pointless. Good game tho. Has a lot of potentials

Really like this game. Only suggestion would be that once you get to a specific point the bestsellers you have are by default the first few books you wrote. It would be nice if there was more of a likelihood that books you write can jump straight to the top of sales etc.
Good game but so much to work on
The game is good and I like the concept. It’s similar to the others by this company but there’s so many bugs and issues to sort out. I can’t even sell any books without getting a book deal and it’s even harder to get one. Please make it like music/ movie start where we can actually earn money!

Most Disappointing Update
I was really excited for when we would be able to launch our own publisher but this was quite disappointing, we should be able to hire someone to take care of the books inventory, also 15 employees is to little to handle everything while making good books, its like I have to choose quantity over quality or vice versa, we should be able to stack the quantity of headquarters to grow our company. To top everything off, the books tab where we can review what we are going to publish gets very messy really quick, please add a function where I can automatically delete all the books with less than a 50 or something like this, I dont want to keep scrolling through hundreds of books just to see one single worth publishing one. To get done with it, It would be great if not only we could PUBLISH OUR BOOKS ON OUR OWN PUBLISHER, but also you could raise the grades of the books that we receive, they are to low, I have been grinding this publisher thing and the best that I got was a 70, I don’t want to publish trash books but its like I am obligated to!!!!! To be honest there is still a lot of things missing like with what format am I publishing the books, is it hardcover? Do I sell audiobooks too? And why the publisher books just stop selling, aren’t they selling on the internet?? PLEASE REWORK THIS FEATURE. All the other games had such good similar features like the music label or our movie studio, this needs to be improved a lot!!!!!

I love this game, don’t get me wrong, but i feel like some aspects could be improved. I am currently at around $200M Net Worth and a best selling author. I have maxed out every stat including experience (which is a huge grind), the one stat i can’t max out is ‘Virality’…Maybe I am just missing something? But i just don’t seem to be able to gain enough energy to upgrade it higher than 60? I have bought many cars and have a house which upgrades energy by +15 and a wife +20… and still can’t get anywhere? It seems like the only possible way I can think of is building up enough money in your vault that when you start another life you can immediately buy the best cars and houses etc and not have any -energy points from years lived… Surley there is a way to upgrade virality in my current play through right? I feel like I am missing something? The downside to this game in my opinion is that there isn’t much guidance on how to play…it took me a very long time just to figure out how Agents actually work… (Tutorials & Tips would be very helpful) I also would like (a common request) uploadable book overs…i think this would definitely add another level of personalization! Other than these, I think the game is amazing! Keep it up!

Love this game, can be amazing!
Really enjoy this game. It’s quite addictive, especially if you enjoy spreadsheet simulation games. It’s hard at first, and takes a bit of grind, but this in itself if quite realistic for the publishing industry. But there are a couple things that could make this game little better. Firstly, I like how the game handles writing the book, but sometimes I wish that I could scrap it at any stage regardless of whether it’s been edited or not. Maybe I’ve already spent money or energy on editing it, but sometimes I still wanna scrap something that’s way lower in quality than I had expected, post edit. Secondly, I’d love if it were possible to separate the publishing of short stories and novels. In the beginning, you often self publish lots of short stories to level up your experience. But you end up with a sea of 2-7k word ‘books’ sat in your Books or GoodReads tabs, making it difficult to pick out the actual novels you care about later on (e.g. to start a series). It would be better if a distinction was made, or we could collate short stories into collections prior to release, so that we’re publishing a lot less. The latter of the two would be much better, and also kind of a new feature. I don’t love how experience is gained. It should be for specific acts during the writing stage. Although the amount of experience gained will need to be tweaked for each of these actions (compared to getting a lump sum when we publish). For example hitting the write button, increasing the quality, or editing the finished story. This allows people to write for ‘experience’ only. No author today publishes the very first short story or novel they’ve written. Those are experiments, to gain experience as a writer. By only gaining experience when we publish the story forces you to self publish basically everything. This would also solve my above issues, too. Anyway thanks for making this game! I also enjoy the Movie Star game too.
Good but can be better
I’ve been playing it for a couple of hours and I see that it’s similar to the other games you guys make which is nice since they’re very good. One of the only complaints I have so far is that not being allowed to upload your own pictures to use for the book covers is really annoying especially since the collection of pictures present in the game is so limited.
This is where I’d put my publisher after two hours of playing

Upon starting the game i realised that there is no trait tab on the bottom to improve stats. However I’ve seen in other videos that they have it. Was it removed or is this a bug?
