No imagination
Disappointed as the story line is the exact same as Hollywood Merge, I was hoping for a similar game but different story line and different outfits as I love the merge one. The levels in this take absolutely forever to load aswell, don’t have this issue with anything other games or apps on my phone so it is not my internet that is the issue. I have decided to remove the app after I have wrote this review. Just lazy to make a new game with the exact story line, characters and outfits as the other one. What’s the point?

Good storyline but everything is expensive!
This game has a great storyline that actually holds my attention, something which games don’t usually do. However, the higher up in the levels you go the harder it is to win. Most of the time it takes me 10+ goes to win, using multiple boosters or diamonds then when you do win you only get 300 coins… most items cost 525 or more coins! I’m only in season 2 of the game but like level 450 which is ridiculous. I’m getting fed up of playing 50 levels to progress through the season. Such a shame as I really loved this game at first.
Disappointed
It’s fun for a while, but it’s gets frustrating. I am at level 3847, I can be on a win streak of about 8 levels and as soon as I join a pk event or any event with a scoreboard they will give me an impossible level. It can take me a week to complete 1 level which is absurd it shouldn’t. It takes the fun out of the game, they do it in a way that encourages the spending of real money in order to progress and it ruins the whole experience. I

this used to be my favourite one of these types of apps, especially because the level of customisation on the clothing, hair and makeup is so good and has so much detail. however, i'm at level 550 and for a while now i've found that every other level is ridiculously hard and nearly impossible to beat without buying the extra gems (which i refuse to do out of principle) it recently took me almost 200 tried to beat one, ONE level. this took me over a week in real time. either you need to make the levels slightly easier (i love a challenge but im not exaggerating when i say these levels are nigh impossible, and that's coming from someone who is quite experienced and good at these match three games and has been playing them for over 20 years) or you need to increase the amount of power ups/boosts/infinite lives you get in game because it is genuinely impossible to play at this point so i've had to stop. such a shame because this game has so so so much potential. very disappointing

This game is so much fun I love the story and the outfits! The only things that I’m struggling on some levels and it’s making me crash out! But still this game is so fun and i love the concept. Totally recommend!❤️

Ok so I have been playing this game for a while now, first as free-to-play and now I make regular purchases and I really do think it’s awesome: the fashion, how much creativity you can put into outfits, the OOTD’s and the events. My big problem now however is that I seem to have finished the regular levels now and this stupid championship event keeps popping up and the levels are way too difficult and it’s stalling my ability to pass levels especially on the first try, which is then stalling my progress in all the other events (some of which I paid for already) I think the jump in difficulty level is just too much and it’s putting me off. If that one thing was adjusted I’d be able to enjoy the game again but this is getting frustrating not in a way that is challenging and ultimately rewarding, but in a way that’s making me want to put down the phone and get ice cream and watch silly cat videos instead for comfort Edit after response: I don’t need help passing levels it’s the wonky game mechanics. I guess I’m just gonna have to stop paying for anything

It was good at first but then the levels kept getting harder and harder, the coins to design your character kept adding up I feel like there’s more levels than story for this game which is why I politely quit
Too many animations and side quests
The game is good but the animations are WAY too much. All the side games that I don’t even understand and have to click through several steps before I can skip and get to the actual game is infuriating to go through.

DISHEARTENING- I started playing and really enjoying this game so, started to make regular payments for extra diamonds etc - after making these recently I’ve noticed only from this app it tries to take a further £9.99 and £6.99 both in one go, after I’ve already made a purchase for something even if my purchase was £2.99 that goes through I get my rewards then they try to take further money out of my account, happened about 10 times today as I’ve had to keep buying diamonds to pass levels as they’re becoming IMPOSSIBLE. I’ve spent a lot of money on this app willingly and was happy too until I noticed this? - my bank luckily keeps stopping these extra unauthorised payments and getting me to security check it which I obviously reject. So I’m unsure what’s going on here? Really disappointed, please sort the app out?

Great start - but becomes a cash grab
I really enjoyed Hollywood Crush at first. The levels were fun, and the story progression kept me interested. It had a lot of potential, and I was genuinely excited to keep playing. But as the story goes on, things start to go downhill. You have to spend more and more coins on tiny things — like 350 coins just for a belt — which starts to feel ridiculous. The levels also become extremely difficult, to the point where I’ve had to replay the same one 8-10 times just to get through it based on luck. I’m now out of power-ups and gems, and it’s frustrating to lose even when I’m only one piece away from finishing a level. IF I’m only ONE piece away. It’s clear that the game is designed to push you into spending money, which makes it feel more like a cash grab than a fun experience. That’s really disappointing, because I was enjoying it so much. Sadly, I’m going to have to stop playing. I’m genuinely disheartened.
It’s become literally impossible and SO EXPENSIVE for one action
I used to love this game I was so happy when I downloaded it and it was pretty much exactly like the ad I saw. I’ve had it for AGES and recently it’s just become extremely difficult to actually clear the levels. I don’t know when they changed this but for so many levels I only had 15 or 17 moves which is the amount you’d used to get on hard or very hard levels. It’s so hard to finish it first try, I have to repeat the level like 10 times. Moreover I just recently found out that you have to PAY TICKETS to take part in the daily fashion contests. It’s insane. You only get the tickets by clearing hard or super hard levels but those are EXTERMELY HARD to clear. If I wanted to just buy a ticket then it costs 1000 DIAMONDS. They’ve make everything so expensive because why is it costing me 850 coins to add a belt to my outfit? They make it all expensive so that you’re forced to play the levels thatre so hard to beat with out power ups. AND the power ups are too much. 1300 diamonds for 2 or 3 of each and there’s only 5 power ups so it’d get finished so quickly. And it takes forever to save up diamonds. The story like and concept of the game is acc good but the last straw for me was having to pay tickets for the daily fashion contest when it used to be free. I hope they can change all these things.

I love this game, I’ve been playing it religiously for a while now and on level 300 and something. However, I do find this game to be a bit of a money grab. 900 gems to get extra moves is ridiculous and the prices of the gems and everything in the store is completely over priced. It doesn’t matter how many power ups you have, if you don’t give people enough moves to complete the level, it’s a money grab situation. I have played many games like this which don’t cost half as much as this game. This game would get 5/5 if it weren’t for the pricing because really, who is paying $30+ for 5000 gems that will last 3 puzzles and power ups that are gone sometimes within one game.
Impossible levels
I got this game today, and I’ve been playing it for about two hours however, as you progress the levels get harder and harder to complete. Currently I am on level 49 which is a ‘super hard level’ and I CANNOT complete it, no matter how many times I try. I have no power ups, no diamonds to help me complete this level. So it’s impossible. They want you to spend money so you can pass it. I also think this game is ridiculous with the amount of pop ups that give you ‘offers’ or ‘deals’ which cost money. The game is a money grabber. I was enjoying this game but it got repetitive with the levels, costing a lot of money and time to create ONE outfit, etc. I will be deleting the game since I no longer enjoy it and I am not able to pass the level.

I used to love this game so much, but the amount of money I’m spending on this just to pass a level, and it’s getting to every single level it’s asking me to spend money.
Needs improvement
The game is wonderful! The visuals are impressive and the storyline is catchy, however the price for more moves is ridiculously high. 900 diamonds for 5 more moves is insane. While that is too high, the amount of coins you get from every tile game is really low, while the prices for the dresses and accessories keeps increasing as the game progresses. You win 300 coins each game and 1 item is worth 500-650 coins. You have to play 2-3 games in order to afford 1 item which is ridiculous. Either increase the amount of coins won in the game or keep the prices of items under 200 coins. I don’t mind the difficulty of the levels, it’s quite fun. Please do something about these things ❤️🥰

Power ups are constantly disappearing or setting themselves off during the the game. Effectively stealing your chance of completion of the level.Sometimes completely different moves happen from what you do. No one answers complaints or cares. Don’t waste your money on this rubbish

I don’t know why but since the latest update the game almost always refuses to load. Such a shame cos it’s really fun, doesn’t bug you with ads other than its own in game purchases which is reasonable and the storylines & fashion were interesting. If it wasn’t so crashy, I’d give this 5 stars, but I can’t recommend this in its current state.
Previous reviews warned me
It really wanted to like this game but on reading another gamer’s review I didn’t bother to play further. They told of the impossibility of clearing later levels purely to dress your avatars. Also the game didn’t even look anything like the preview shown. I only downloaded it to start with because of the fun trailer. Another big disappointment.

Great but declines
As like many other reviews, I sadly have to agree. At first, I really enjoyed this game. The challenges and the storyline. It soon becomes apparent that the further up you get in levels, the harder it gets to win games. To the point that I just give up and not play again. In the beginning, I couldn’t wait to get back on the app to continue playing. However, this is no longer the case due to the difficulty in getting through some ridiculous hard levels where you’re probably being pushed to pay money in order to gain more moves to win. This is where it becomes frustrating and this game is no longer enjoyable. Baring in mind how many levels one has to win due to the cost to fully dress your avatar. It’s a shame. I’d understand if it was the same concept as Candy Crush or the like, but not if the main objective is to complete a storyline and to dress your avatar. Passing through levels should not be near impossible unless all you want is to play this type of match game, which there are plenty of to download. I hope the developers take feedback on board to keep their users happy and ensure players are returning to continue playing this game.

Problems with this game
This game has hypersensitivity you can hold your finger 3 miles from the screen and it will activate the power ups . Power ups randomly disappear or fly in to random parts of the grid rather than the correct target and lose you rounds. Fun at first but so many glitches which ruin it. Will never purchase anything again from these people.

the storyline of the game is really captivating, however it pisses me off so much that sometimes i have to play a level 10+ times before i finish it. it almost makes me not want to play anymore, im at level 169, and it just gets too difficult even on the “easy” levels . how about we make it not so bad that u have to play the same levels 50 million times please

absurdly hard, how am i supposed to complete a level with no supers/ buffs in 20 moves? the only time i’ve spent gems were to get extra moves, with me saving up to the point of which i would get 90+ moves on the hardest ones. amazing concept, just unreasonable at times.

This is not fashion game!
What frustrates me most is the misleading impression the game creates. This is absolutely not a fashion game. The dress up feature is only a side element, yet it is the part that could have made the game truly exciting. Instead, everything revolves around the same tired match puzzle format, which makes the game feel busy, shallow and lacking in real fashion. That problem is made worse by the fact that the match puzzle itself is so underwhelming. The gems look flat and two dimensional, which is surprising because I have played many similar games and this is by far one of the most unattractive designs I have seen. It feels especially odd considering how beautiful the characters and garments in the game are. The story is another weak point. It feels infantile and boring, with many undeveloped characters. The animation is inconsistent too, with some characters lip syncing correctly and others speaking without opening their mouths at all. To make matters worse, the advertising for Hollywood Crush is terrible. The AI generated adverts look cheap and awkward, and they do not represent the actual game at all. If the adverts had shown the real gameplay and highlighted the styling elements properly, I would have downloaded it much sooner. As it is, the adverts are so bad I barely even know where to begin criticising them. In the end, Hollywood Crush feels like just another reskin of countless match games I have already seen, without anything genuinely new to offer. It is a beautiful game on the surface, but ultimately it is boring, repetitive, and definitely not the fashion experience it pretends to be.

i love this game a lot which is crazy considering how i’d only just downloaded it today but i really want to delete my account and restart the game from the beginning to make a few changes to the decisions i’ve made however the game isn’t allowing me to do that no matter how many times i’ve deleted my data and uninstalled the app it keeps redownloading my progress and i have no clue what do it would really help if you could let me know how to restart since the robot generated customer service thing isn’t doing much help in the app whatsoever thankyou !!
Too hard
I loved the gameplay element and the storyline but once you get through the first two parts the games start to get impossible to play. I have been playing games like this for a long time and I found it hard and my mother who has played these most of her life couldn’t do it. I also was not a fan of the fact that it kept asking me for money and most parts were hard to play without the use of money.
