Malfunctioning
I started using this app again following receiving a free years premium. I’ve tried learning music, a subject I’m picking up for LC that I didn’t do in JC, and the corrections are scarily inconsistent. I’ve ran the exact same melody through twice for the same question. Once, I received a 11/28, saying a bar contained 5 beats. I reran it and it gave me a 25/28, saying it was an excellent melody after no changes were made? Maybe check ur software??
More a level options
Simplestudy is a great revision app, i used it all throughout my mocks and gcse and it helped me tremendously, but as i am going into year 12 i do wish simplestudy had more a level exam board options such as wjec specifically as they are not widley accomadated with other apps and simplestudy has been my faviourte and most useful revision rescource
Didn’t get my subscription
It’s a good app I have been using it for a few months now and theirs only one week left of school during my exams my subscription ran out so I decided to buy it one last time so I payed the 25€ for the ultimate option but this time it just took my money and I didn’t get the content of the subscription
Good app but too expensive
I enjoy the features on this app and I used it last year.. but I cannot afford the premium plan and feel it it very hard to use the app without the additional fees
Great but add even more subjects though
Amazing app! Defo recommend for GCSE students - just got the premium and its so worth it! I wish they added more subjects though - other options like Film studies , Music , global and more would be so beneficial to so many students
Worst app I’ve ever used absolutely useless
This is actually the worst app ever. The ai chat bot doesn’t correct anything even though I sent it the same question multiple times very zoomed in but it just keeps saying it cannot see the question. The flash cards are awful, none of them are relevant at all to the exam questions. The past exam papers for some reason have multiple repeated questions or tiny parts of the same question put in there over and over again. The notes and quizzes have the same problems as the flash cards. Absolutely useless app waste of 25 quid. Won’t let me submit my review unless I give it five stars what a joke
Really helpful
I found this app really helpful for revision. I just wish there was no in app purchases and premium as I believe studying should be free and having access to materials to gain better grades should also be free other than having to pay to get better use out of the app overall it’s a really good app. I found it extremely helpful despite having to pay for better use but the free version which I have is really good as well as I said anyway hope this helped guys go enjoy this app to help revise and study
Too much paid only content
I feel like I can’t do anything without paying and would love if there was more options that are free as I can only do one lesson a day and sometimes it doesn’t even let me do that it’s almost impossible to use without payment

The daily limit pisses me off I only used it for 6 minutes and it’s so heavy on money.
Amazing but has limitations
I found the app really helpful for my year 9 assessments and I thought it’d be quite helpful for the next two years of my gcses as I can never seem to fully pay attention in class no matter how hard I try. It was much better than other apps I’ve used and definitely more appealing and fun. But unfortunately you only get one free question a day and I cannot get premium as I cannot afford it. Other than that it is a great app.
Very limited
This app is very limited without paying for extra. Am not happy as full access would be very helpful.
Amazing and rlly helpful but get premium if you want actual progress
I acc really love this app, it helps me revise for my exams so efficiently and I love the quiz that you get at the end of each topic, it really helps me get the info inside my head, however, since I can’t afford premium 😭, there are so many limits and I jst kinda end up crashing into the same problems, so if you can afford premium, get it- its so worth it
Ridiculous
At first I was using SimpleStudy to revise for my upcoming tests. Then I reached my daily limit. I was looking to try the free trail then my eye skimmed across the page. I think 7 POUND PER MONTH is absolutely ridiculous for an app that is supposed to help you. I understand it’s a good app but some people can’t afford that. Like charging 7 pound a month feels kinda excessive. Feels less like a study app and feels more like a subscription trap with notes attached.
Good but a few bugs
When I try do past exam papers, the questions duplicate multiple times. When I hand in an answer it tells me to do it again 2 or 3 times for the same question. The other day it said I got like 630/400 points in my biology paper. I had to calculate the corrections the app made and it’s very time consuming. Otherwise very good and helpful.

i really wanted to like this app but its way too restrictive, how can you call this a revision tool if you can only do one lesson a day? at this point you should just make the whole app paid, don’t download this app, its just a waste of time and its really difficult to find topics in the subjects section that i actually learn
Great but…
Great app. It’s really helpful and I used it to revise for my science exams. You should download because it’s good but be warned. Nearly half the stuff you need premium for so if your like me and can’t afford it there loads of restrictions. Wish I could have some of the premium features but overall its good
not great
Only operates for actual study for people who pay premium. we should not have to pay to learn, for an app the promotes it so much.
No Irish?
I really do like this app, and it’s a great concept, HOWEVER my one complaint is the lack of irish resources available. I, like many others rely on resources like this for my irish studies however you cannot do questions by topic or quizzes as the simplestudy ai cannot mark it the way it does for other subjects, and overall this app lacks lots of important information needed for irish.
Great but has some limits
I found this really helpful in aiding my early revision during my summer holidays, especially for psychology as I had no clue about it due to not doing psychology for my GCSEs. I found the lessons very helpful due to its format of precise small chunks of information. However my own fault of lacking enough money to buy premium of this app has not helped me at all. Oh dear, I can already see the vision of my grades in a level going sky high, but this is only if I get 1 year of simply study premium for free. So please developers. Restrictive
The app is very restrictive unless you pay for the premium, I’m a student so it is very difficult to afford certain things like this. Very disappointed.
AI did something wrong
I put in my notes on the English Civil War, it turned them into good questions, but with the wrong answers. When I edited it and tried it, my correct answer was apparently wrong. Please resolve this issue, it’s a great app!
Lags a lot
I have an iPhone 13 which is good but the app is constantly lagging kicking me out giving issues and unlike Duolingo only allows you to do one lesson a day I would not recommend as there is much better apps but I believe it could become much better and a very great app with just one or two tweaks
Great but..
I started using this app recently after hearing so many people recommend it, and I can genuinely say the quality of the notes, quizzes and study tools is excellent. The app itself is very well made and clearly designed to help students study more effectively and with less stress. A huge amount of work has obviously gone into it. However, the biggest issue by far is the price. As a student, I simply cannot justify the cost of the subscription. Between school expenses, books, grinds, transport and everything else that comes with preparing for exams, the app feels completely out of reach financially for a lot of students. The free version shows how useful the app could be, but it becomes extremely restrictive once you actually try to rely on it for proper revision. It almost feels like you get a glimpse of something genuinely helpful, only to realise that most of the important features are locked behind a subscription that many students just cannot afford. I fully understand that apps cost money to maintain and improve, and I do believe the premium features are high quality. But at the moment, the pricing feels unrealistic for the average student. Students are the main target audience for this app, yet many of us are already under financial pressure and cannot keep adding expensive subscriptions on top of other school costs. Overall, I think the app has huge potential and is probably one of the better study apps available right now. But unless the pricing becomes much more affordable or flexible for students, it’s difficult to see myself using it consistently. A cheaper student plan or more accessible pricing would make a massive difference.
OMG great but I can’t afford it
I downloaded this app to help me for my GCSEs and it has been quite useful especially the different features. However I feel like I can’t get much out of it because of financial reasons and I think that premium gives you a lot more advantage. Def recommend .its gonna help you a lot . this app is great and has been helping me with my alevels coming up. the only thing that’s annoying is the premium on my own quizzes. I understand premium has to be a thing in order for the app to run but it’s annoying when my own quizzes that i’ve made have “premium” questions when i’ve made them myself. other than that it’s good
Limiting my chances of success
Hi there, 6th year student here. I only received my mock results back and did not do as well as I originally thought. I was disappointed with my results and therefore I decided to improve my grades by downloading SimpleStudy after hearing a friend was using it. I downloaded it and started to use your free plan. I found this free plan limiting my chances of improving my grades for my Leaving Cert in June. I feel under pressure now that my exams are getting closer and closer and I’m trying my best to prepare for my exams as best as I can and would love to have less added stress by not having a basic free plan on your app. Thank you for listening!

Game-changer
I only downloaded this app recently, but I’m already so impressed! I’d been struggling with where to start revision and how to remember everything, and this app gave me the boost I didn’t know I needed. The notes are concise, well-organised, and focus on what’s actually needed for GCSEs. I also love the theme and layout—it’s clean, easy to use, and makes revision feel much less overwhelming. The quizzes are really helpful too. My personal favourite is the questions by topic section because it helps properly assess what I actually know in a timed setting. The only downside really is that the daily limit is reached quite quickly and I can’t really pay for premium. But if you can pay for premium you should 100% go for it because this is a game changer app. Thank you so much for creating this app—it’s definitely going to be one of my most-used apps this year, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone revising for GCSEs! (I think there was a glitch with my last review which was under the name Estcivpbknlnlmpydues so I wrote it again.)
After a year of premium I can say there's so many infuriating little issues it's not worth it.
All the notes are ai generated, and often don't actually make sense or are straight up wrong. The app cuts out or blocks access to random functions all the time. Reporting issues go ignored. It doesn't allow an option to not pick a school and doesn't list all schools, so I've been forced into some random school where the app keeps pressuring me to add my "friends" meaning my fellow school mates meaning complete and utter strangers. Can't a person just have a digital personal space???. The app had a data leek. And many, many more little pet peeves and issues, we'd be all day. :/
This app is honestly amazing for gcse revision .
This app is honestly amazing for gcse revision , and I would recommended everybody to get this app for revision if you want the top grades . It’s got flashcards and notes which extremely helpful , especially cause it forces you to active recall . My favourite feature is the exam practice and full practice papers . As I’m on an iPad it’s amazing to just be able to write on the paper and get a mark and feedback it’s honestly so amazing , however the biggest issue I’ve been facing is whenever I finish doing a set of questions or even a paper it never lets me submit it . It says that there was an error which deos feel like a bit of a bummer since I would like to actually have my wrork marked . I refresh the app but it simply just doesn’t save my work . If this issue was sorted I’d honestly give it a billion out of ten cause it really is amazing . I also do find that having to pay for features can be restrictive tho , especially because for me personally I simply cannot afford subscriptions and so the ai features etc can be limiting which is also a bit of a bummer , but other than that I would definitely recommend u try the app out .

I find things very difficult to learn, understand and remember things however this app helps allot and has got my grades up. However with the time limit it’s very hard to keep up as I’m quite a slow learner and premium content keeps appearing, it’s distracting and I simply don’t have the money for it but it looks like it could really help.
Amazing!
Love love love this app it’s so good guys. The questions by topic section is so helpful cause it times you and marks your answers for you. It also has lots of notes which are spec specific and saves me loads of time compared to writing them out. I rlly recommenddddd
Questions are too easy and there’s a crazy paywall
Wdym I can’t see the correct answer? Not that any sixth year student could even manage to get one of these questions wrong. Preparation for the lc? Not at all, save yourself some time and money; use studyclix.

Not useable without premium
Seems like a good study app but without premium access the features you can use for free are very limited. You can only do a certain amount of quizzes per day so to cover a topic entirely on the app would take too long. It really does seem like a well made app so it’s a shame its so limited unless you’re willing to pay the expensive fee for premium access.
Amazing app to an extent
I absolutely love this app, the way its laid out is so pleasing and I found it really helpful for my GCSEs! However, I really wish I’d be able to use it more, having only one free question a day is so frustrating :( I cannot afford a premium subscription which is a real shame as I feel it would be so beneficial alongside my A-levels. That is my only criticism but I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see good grades!
Bad
You need to be able to see account details on any kind of app and you can’t on this. It’s such a great app, but too bad it costs way too much for something that I could probably do myself.
Great revision material however there’s definitely room for improvement
Firstly the amount of material available to help with revision is amazing from flashcards, exam questions to past papers that can be marked for you it easy to revise and monitor your own improvement. However I ultimately found that when I went to open the sociology papers it would not load nor let me begin the exam it’s not a network issue or something that requires a restart and I found the same issue with a friend it’s annoying that out of my alevel subjects I cannot rely on this app to let me to some sociology papers where’s other subjects I can. I find this really useful and would honestly love it if it could be looked into as exams are coming close.

Im honestly so annoyed that i havent found this app earlier, after ages and ages trialing app after app for significant revision help ive finally found the one, the only concern i have is the part where u have to pay due to more use of the app during exam season currently, where the premium features can make a significant improvement
Barley get any work done
Simple study is just a cash grab. You only get three quizzes each day and I you get a question wrong it doesn’t even show the correct answer. I want to like the app but it’s designed poorly and studyclix is a better option to spend your money on.
Great idea app but not ideal for students
I really liked this app 5 minutes after I downloaded although when I try to do the quiz and get the questions wrong ,it won’t tell me the correct answer and tells me to pay which is honestly horrible since it’s a study app and so there is no point on studying on this app unless if you have money.The app design is very messy in my opinion.There are too many buttons that are closed together and don’t know where to look and press.
