This game is super fun and it is good for practice, although it takes ages to set up and it hard to get the camera right, overall don’t mind it
Constant crashing
Almost impossible to play a full round. Have had this for a couple weeks now and mid round it will either freeze completely or shots will go negative yards even if in the fairway. Getting pretty annoyed with this.
Very fun but hard to set up
It took me two hours to set up the help bot was not that helpful I did end up finding some YouTube videos to help and once it was set up it would only work in the practice mode the driving range and courses were not working and I couldn’t find anything to help that with the help bot

Don’t recommend this to anyone. App doesn’t even pick up my swing just keeps on saying error and error over again complete waste of money

Was excited…but then…
“Mat undetected” despite it clearly in the picture. I’ll keep trying because in theory it’s a great idea.
The app is fine but the hardware sucks!
Bought the product and downloaded the app, didn’t have high expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Started using it more frequently, after about 100 to 150 shots the mat was not usable anymore. You could see it was in rough shape but it felt fine the problem was the app, it couldn’t really recognize my hits anymore and just couldn’t read the result from my swing accurately. So the 70$ product became uns usable after three days of usage.
Not good
Constant crashing, no sound, does not detect mat, I am outside and it said not enough light, I can’t make it through one round without it crashing and it didn’t save my training swings to unlock data, and when I created a ticket no one got got back to me to support this issue, can’t play it doesn’t work, super disappointing
Great idea useless app
I have take at less 100 shots and the app has not been capable of reading any one of them I have tried changing different lights, shoot inside as outside, diferente phones but the result is the same, I hope this can be fixed soon because I really tink is a great idea
Like maybe not really
Ok so the mat that you “need”to buy for the game to work is optional. Just buy any gold mat and it should work. The game is also just kinda bad. Beside it just saying shots that aren’t realistic most the time (for example my shots normally slice right) it’ll say that the go shirt and left. Even when the path that the ball takes on the mat is clearly suggesting one result, it will give a complete other. But to be honest this could be excused as it’s still ok and just seeing your swing every time you take it and seeing what you do is kind of helpful. The biggest weakness for me are the bugs. First, the camera occasionally just stops working unless a restart my phone (like goes fully black(iPhone 14 btw)) and on the actual holes it will sometimes just freeze after you take a shot and not update. TLDR ok game, don’t buy the golf mat that comes with it as it’s overpriced and isn’t even necessary to play the game( I think not one hundred percent sure)
Instructions?
No idea to set this up. Doesn’t come with instructions. Instructions via a web search say to hit the big yellow “calibrate“ button in the app. There is no big yellow calibrate button. What now?
Not recommended
A nice idea that was executed poorly. The app is not really working and to get it to any response is a lot of work. I work in software and this is a bad developed and poorly tested product. Really wanted it to be good!
Check App Before Buying Golf Daddy
Check you can register on the app before buying the sim mat. Had some problems getting the app to load and register my details. Only worked after a few days trying.

Don’t waste your money on this junk.. go to a simulator 2-3 times and actually enjoy it for the same money.
The app is slowwww
The app is too slow and lags a lot . After every shot the time taken to process and analyse is very high and more often than not it hangs. I now use the mat without the app and focus on the divet. Also the club selection is very minimal so that restricts the ability to play diff clubs .
Trash
Don’t buy it’s trash, not even for a “fun arcade” type of game. Stick to Nintendo switch golf

Lag non stop. Cant make 2 hit in a row without a lag or the to shut down

Been trying relentlessly. The app goes to driving range , then crashes and closes app , over and over . And I just downloaded the app so the software is up to date
calibration
this app suck dont waste money on it can fix the avatar swing on the range or golf course.. the way to fix it is to talk with de AI in the app see my slow motion seing but after app ceash

Can’t even make one stroke
The app crashes every 30 seconds, get roped into buying a 200 dollar mat just for the app to be complete trash. I’d rate 0 stars if I could
Not recommended
It worked fine except for the far off yardages and inconsistency from my divots and the actual shot and shot to shot it was different and the pieces would come off after the first 10 shots the steak that was supposed to come with it wasn’t in the package when I used my own steak it ripped through the hole provided for the steak after one shot
Real POS wish; I checked the app reviews prior to purchase
Bought the mat to play with my wife during winter, however it doesn’t register any of our swings even after successful calibration. I have no idea how the reviews looks so good online, this thing sucks.
