Great for everyone - even kids! Rename it though!
I don't know why the handful of reviews are all written (allegedly) by kids, or why this app would scare anyone. First off, walkie talkies are and have always been a pair or more of handheld radios that allow two or more people within range (couple miles) to talk to each other. Almost always to people you knew and knew were on the other end. This and other similar apps are behaving nothing like walkie talkies - but instead a CB radio!!! Which had many channels that people from around the world would use to talk, or just listen, mostly to people they have never met. The developer would be wise to rename this, and create channels based on age groups. Kids should try and meet neither kids, and make it fun by putting a pin in a map so they can see all the places around the end rod they talked to. There ya go developer, free idea no charge. This a neat app, if it were named appropriately and you had the ability to see how many people were on each channel, their location (country, city) , and age, and could join and switch between them... I bet this app would take off quickly. I'll ,keep watching and looking forward to seeing how this app evolves!

This app is like CB Radio. I would imagine that most kids don't even know what a CB Radio is. When you are using a CB, you WILL meet complete strangers. Do not give out your name, age, location or any other information about yourself unless you are an adult and can use proper judgement. Back in the days when CB was popular, people used 'handles' to remain anonymous. A 'handle' is just a name you create so you don't have to use your own. You can call yourself Batman, Rockstar or anything else you would like. If people are being abusive or ask uncomfortable questions, just delete the app and move on. This app probably isn't appropriate for children.

Friend and I were looking for some fun games involving a WalkieTalkie she is only eight and I'm 12 we were trying to figure out if we could do a private one between my phone and another phone however we had people from all around the world, did not like it. Also when I tried to close it it was still talking I could hear a guy saying who are you that's when I deleted the app now I look back at the reviews and see that other people agree with me.I guess I should've looked at the reviews before I decided to get the app. This app is not for smaller children, I'm 12 and was still terrified!if there was a choice for zero stars I would give it zero stars but since there's no option for zero stars I guess we'll have to make do with one.this app is stupid who created it?

My friend and I wanted to have some fun and play on a walkie talkie. We searched around and thought we should download this app. We played on it for a minute or two and heard other people talking on it. We started freaking out and my friend turned off her iPad and people were still talking! We deleted it immediately. Plz don't get this app.
