This game is amazing but the ads are interesting
Repetitive and Poorly Written
The clues in this game are obviously translated into English by a non-native speaker or AI that doesn’t understand grammar, the correct usage of pronouns, or family connections; clues often confuse siblings for cousins and mislabel aunts and uncles as siblings or in-laws. Incorrect grammar leads to confusing clues where commas might have added clarity. Main levels are repetitive, but less noticeably than the daily puzzles which repeat twice a month or so. The app crashes routinely and I’m not going to waste another second on it.
Upgrade of iOS - Random Crashes Resurfaces
The latest iOS upgrade results in the app randomly crashing as it did with the previous iOS upgrade, which was resolved.
Addicting but…
First of all, there are poorly-worded and ambiguously-worded clues. For instance, the clue might say “John married Mary and Billy’s sister” leading you to believe that John married the sister of Mary and Billy, but they actually mean that John married Mary who happens to be Billy’s sister. Or they will have 2 people left with no clues that tell you who goes where. And they absolutely do not understand how pronouns work. Second, the app itself destroys your battery. I lose battery like 4x faster on this app than on any other app.
Incomplete clues
Am I the only one that feels like the clues and who’s filled in the tree isn’t enough to finish? If this is the case, 2 lives isn’t enough.

Game crashes, puzzles are impossible
The family tree puzzles are okay, assuming you don’t mind all the first cousins getting married. But lots of the levels are seating puzzles instead, and it doesn’t give you enough information to solve them, and it penalizes you for guessing wrong. And it crashes.

5 stars, super fun game
Used to like it
Had this game like a year ago and it was fun. I switch games a lot so I came back to it. Unfortunately the new office and dinner levels ruined it for me… I see in other reviews it’s not just me that has an issue with them. I’ll come back in another year and see if y’all listened to the people and got rid of those levels. ✌️
Some confusion in family relationships
The game is addictive, but doesn’t know that if you share a parent you are half siblings. It will say someone shares a parent but has no siblings. Also a parent’s ex-spouse is not a stepparent.
Not Enough Hints for some???
I was playing the dinner one, and there were TWO salads, and a lot of the clues were “______ is eating a salad” or “______ loves chicken” with the other being “______hates veggies” yet it doesn’t tell you whether the people go on the left or right side of the table. I assumed it didn’t matter because NONE of the hints would give me more information than what food they wanted to eat. It took my pencils when I was technically right and followed ALL the hints, and it only explained what food they want and not who they may be sitting next to or what side of the table they’re on. If you’re gonna make a game where you basically have to GUESS, DON’T give people a specific number of lives. Otherwise, fix the hints so we don’t have to guess.
Description Issue
Some of the clues for the family members are duplicates where they refer to the same person. I.e. there will be two clues where “Christie” marries to different sibling’s brother. Without knowing which clue leads to the correct answer, the player risks exhausting the two or three chances to get the right answer. Can this issue please be fixed so that I’m not wasting coins? Thank you

Lost purchase
I was really enjoying this game until the latest update. I spent money to get rid of the ads permanently and ever since the latest update the ads are back. I have contacted support and given proof of purchase with no communication since.
The new puzzle mode is boring
I don’t like the new puzzles in the office and dining room setups. Wish I could skip those.
Issues
I love the game but I keep getting ‘kicked out’ of the app.
Repeated levels and app crashes
I’m on level 1185 and I keep getting the same levels over and over again as I’ve gotten higher. I don’t get new levels. I feel like I just keep getting the same levels over and over again. For the last several levels, it keeps exiting me while I’m in the app and I have to re-login and then I lose my life and have to get new lives.
More towns please!!
I love this game and play it daily. I do wish there would be more towns to build. I ran out ages ago and am just accumulating coins and hammers with nothing to spend them on.
Bogus clues to force the use of hints
This game deliberately gives vague clues for the office and dinner levels in an attempt to get you to use hints that I assume eventually cost money, or require you to watch ads. It’s the most obvious ploy of its kind that I’ve ever seen, and the developers should be ashamed of themselves. I got fed up after just level 20 and deleted the app.
Really Fun
I like this game but I would like the rules because I can’t remember when women are right or left of husbands. You really have to pay attention and go slow. East to make mistakes. And what are the hammers for?
Fun game poor clue writing
The game is a fun concept but the puzzles aren’t logical. Many of the puzzles come down to clues that are ambiguous and could mean multiple different placements. Can be fun but don’t expect a real logic puzzle.
Clue errors
Sometimes the clues are just wrong. For example if you do what they suggest, it tells you that you are wrong. I’d post a screenshot but I can’t make the review form accept it.

Errors in puzzles
I’ve encountered a few clues that are inaccurate, but if you make two mistakes, then you need to spend your coins (one of the things they encourage you to purchase) in order to continue the game. One example is “the scientist is the great-granddaughter of the adopted daughter of the soldier” when the youngest generation is the soldier’s great-grandkids, and the correct answer was his great-granddaughter’s brother.
Needs an update
I like the puzzle to figure out the family trees. But, I can tell they are not written by some who has English as their first language. Cannot get anymore ‘stars’ under the story, finished all of them. The Easter reveal is repetitive and many of the hints have nothing to do with the choices. Same thing with the office and dining room hints, very arbitrary.

Odd family dynamics
I enjoy the game and trying to solve the puzzle. My only complain is the weird family dynamics sometimes. A lot of first cousins getting married!
Quitting after 500+ levels
Im on level 515. I’ve beaten the game on story mode and build mode. But the dinner and office levels they’ve just added make zero sense and make the game so annoying to play now. Onto something else.

This one really could be fun, but it’s not thought out well enough and doesn’t give enough information for you to follow so you have to guess. You only have so many pencils so you’re constantly failing. Not fun.
Removing colour
Every few days daily challenges changes and removes the pictures to just a colour of the gender, makes it hard with the clue, only way I have seen to sort it out is to uninstall the app, when I was over level 400 it’s a bit sad
Great game with some minor bugs
Enjoyable game and is as advertised, but I run in to issues where it crashes between levels or when closing the pop ups that you get when you first open the app.
Fun, but need more towns
I’m on level 709 (😱😵💫) and have 20,000+ coins, and 768 hammers and no place to use them.

Educating
This is by far the most educative game that I have come across, even though I have only just started playing.
Won’t even open!
Whatever update has been installed won’t let me even access the app! It opens, but then immediately crashes while it loads…fix it!
Enjoyable but few tweaks needed
I do enjoy this game, however, some of the clues need to be proofread by an English speaker. The clues often used has (singular) instead of have (plural). In addition some clues lack a word which often makes the clue meaningless and it is not always obvious what the clue should be. I addition the levels are repeated and are not brand new.
It’s timed now and no longer fun
I used to enjoy this game, but now it’s timed and the fun has gone out of it for me. I enjoyed taking my time and not feeling rushed. I’m now trying out other logic puzzle games.
Fun
I like the game but the coins and hammers are useless because they never add anymore towns and it’s pointless anyway. Lately it is freezing so bad when opening I can’t play anyway.
