Children can explore illustrated word cards, listen to pronunciations and choose the correct picture in fun listening quizzes. Every activity helps connect the word, sound and image naturally.

Discover hundreds of useful English words across a wide range of topics, including animals, fruit, home, vehicles, colours, nature, food and body parts. Every word comes with a vivid picture to make learning easier and more engaging.
BRITISH AND AMERICAN PRONUNCIATION
Switch between British and American English pronunciation and choose how many times each word is played.
PICTURE LISTENING QUIZZES
Listen to a word and select the matching picture. Instant feedback, scores and answer streaks make each practice session interactive and rewarding.
DAILY MISSIONS
Build a simple daily learning habit. Daily missions combine words that need review, words being reinforced and new vocabulary. The number of daily questions can be adjusted in Settings.
REVIEW AND FREE PRACTICE
Words answered incorrectly are automatically added to review activities. Free Practice lets learners explore random words from the complete vocabulary collection.
COLLECT WORD STICKERS
Complete learning activities to collect word stickers and Pineapple Energy. Progress can be viewed inside the interactive sticker jar and sticker book.
MADE FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
Pineapple English Words is optimised for both iPhone and iPad, with layouts designed for different screen sizes. Word cards can be displayed in either grid or single-card mode.
