Weight recommendations
The weights the app wants you to use makes no sense. For example lunges 135lbs it wants you to use 35lbs + 5lbs+ 2 2.5lbs plates. When you can just place a 45 plate on and eliminate all the nonsense.

Sirve muy bien para registrar tus ejercicios, avance y crecimiento, nadamas hay que tener mucho cuidado al ingresar pesos diferentes por que puede que borres los ejercicios que ya ingresaste.

The strength score is a joke, The AI system doesn’t understand that you can’t always increase weight. There are more but the strength score is an absolute joke, you can’t measure strength the way the developers think…..

Overcharging
I recently subscribed to this app for what was supposed to be $59.99/year only to be charged $89.98. The description for app renewal also says $59.99. Attempts to contact support failed, as there was no reply to my inquiry. Also, there doesn’t appear to be a trial period for trying the app out, which would be nice.

Variety
I love the variety. And how the weights and reps fluctuate to give you the most out of my Workout.
Not as expected
So far this app has been disappointing with interaction. They make it difficult to change the weight amount one time. Aka there isn’t one. I thought being AI it would be more interactive it doesn’t seem to also navigating the setting sucks Unfortunately I was not able to try before I bought. I am into for the rest of the year I am sure there are better ones out there but I will use this one until my year is up

Es muy buena y me ha ayudado mucho. Pero me gustaría que se pudiera poner el peso de los discos en LB y no solo en KG.
Has progressively gotten worse…
This app started off simple to use and relatively intuitive. Over the past year of using it, it has gotten just worse and worse. Text laid on top of other text, failed searches, missing lists of exercises. All became more and more common. Sad but I won’t be re-upping my subscription.

Best training app with great programming
I’ve followed all kinds of programs over the years, changing over time as my goals evolved, from classic 5x5 to niche hybrid athletic training. When it comes to strength training, Gravl hits the nail on the head. It goes beyond a simple strength tracker to an intelligent progression, and the mild gamification elements of the strength scoring encourages me to push myself in ways that no other app or program at all has ever done. Great app that only seems to have gotten better since I first started using it 6 months ago.
New free trial
I can’t pay for a hefty subscription without trying it. No free trial at all.
No puedo registrar las series

Buggy Mess
Currently the app is a buggy nightmare, having huge issues when replacing movements on the page where you select the replacement. Things overlap, I have to reopen the lift/set page for every set
Worked ok for a while
Used for nearly a year. I question their “AI” and its acquaintance with any real physiology knowledge. No one should be doing 120lb cable face pulls, yet it constantly recommends weights in that range. Even after I clearly enter 12x80 as a working rep range. App became buggy as of late and stopped working all together on IOS this week. Canceled my sub and found another program to try.

Disappointed
Disappointed because the more I experienced Gravl the more I dislike it. I was excited to try at first because of the emphasis on progressive overload training and it was cheaper than Fitbod. Then I started seeing all the smear campaign ads against Fitbod and I was a little discouraged, but I understand the strategy so I figured I’ll still give it a shot. I cancel my Fitbod and now I can’t even finish completing my profile to even try out Gravl… so I guess I’m going to wing it today for my workout and see how I feel about trying it again tomorrow. I don’t have high hopes though :/.
Excelente, mas pode melhorar
O aplicativo é muito completo e muito intuitivo. Mas sempre que você abre o aplicativo ele quer gerar uma nova sequência de treino. Isso é ruim porque as vezes você salva o treino da semana todinha pra fazer. Aí quando você abre o aplicativo de novo ele já gera um treino completamente diferente. Seria interessante que ele montasse o treino da semana e ficasse lá até ser completo, permitindo alterações pontuais. Mas foi o único problema que eu achei até o momento, tô curtindo muito o aplicativo!
Errors
3/4 of the videos showing you how to do the exercises do not work. Also the list gets all jumbled up after clicking on a set done.
Crashed app after last update
Worked perfectly until their last update, now the app keeps crashing. What a disappointment

App is legit! Truly helps with personal discipline when it comes to working muscles groups that you know you NEED to work; but really legs, abductors, & abs…the accountability it exactly what I needed!

Loving it!
I’ve been working out consistently 4-5 times a week for 8 months, I got to the point where I wasn’t sore or feeling productive after my workouts. I’ve used Gravl twice now and love it! I feel my workouts during and after now. I feel productive in the gym and have a plan now!
Terrible, glitchy
Worst app I’ve ever used. Glitchy, won’t save the workout you’ve created. Changes things you’ve added to your workout. Won’t let you create the split you want or add movements to your sessions. It’s just terrible all around.

Súper buena la app pero el periodo de prueba es demasiado corto para poder interactuar bien con la app y buscarle el mejor provecho. Sería posible una expansión de tiempo al periodo de prueba ?

Con la última actualización no deja subir una foto de la galería para que acompañe al entrenamiento y tener como referencia, si deja tomar una foto pero no subir desde la galería

Requiere ajustes
En general esta muy buena la aplicación. Pero requiere ajustes: 1. Se borran los set de calentamiento aunque se hayan dejado en favoritos. 2. Los favoritos no son editables, es decir, si ya tengo una rutina en favoritos, la selecciono para entrenar, le hago cambios y la quiero volver a guardar, se crea uno nuevo. Y no debería ser, es la misma rutina pero con ajustes. 3. Los nuevos pesos no se guardan, si estoy usando una rutina de favoritos y veo que puedo aumentarle peso, ese nuevo peso no se conserva, en la siguiente oportunidad de usar el favorito, el peso es el inicial con el que se creó. Debería mantener los récords personales sin necesidad de consultar el histórico del ejercicio.

Constantes errores en Watch
He tenido constantes errores en la app en mi reloj. A veces los entrenamientos no actualizan o aparece que hay un entrenamiento activo, incluso cuando no he empezado a entrenar.
Better than Fitbod
Used Fitbod for a little over a year and kept getting stuck. Switched to them and I felt like I got my mojo back. 10/10
Odd behavior and too few exercises
The app seems to have several issues IMHO: 1) It doesn’t really seem to take into account my resistance training experience even though it does ask. 2) It regularly attempts to push me into weights I can’t handle. I guess it uses a very basic algorithm that doesn’t take into account my physiology and repeated corrections. So much for AI driven plans! 3) The one rep max estimation is generally way off for me. It seems overly simplistic and definitely doesn’t seem AI driven. This maybe way I’m having issues in #2 above. 4) The screen doesn’t scale to size for my iPad. 5) Free apps like Caliber have a better selection of exercises. I find that I’m coping exercises from Caliber a lot. 6) The advertising for this app is really starting to turn me off. They are acting like high school bullies IMHO.

Llevo dos Días utilizando la app la cual me parece muy completa ya que al momento de indicar los ejercicios es muy muy puntual y explicativo. Mi meta es tonificar quemar grasa y bajar de peso, ¿al yo realizar todo lo que me indica la app puedo llegar a mis objetivos?
Variedad de ejercicios
Los ejercicios son muy básicos. Por ejemplo: No hay ejercicios donde se combine una polea con una banca para hacer variaciones y optimizar el esfuerzo.
Error al iniciar rutina
Hoy 9-ene-2026 no permite iniciar la rutina. El botón de /start workout/ no aparece.
