Challenging & Fun
I say this as a former Jeopardy contestant that I seldom find mobile trivia games that are challenging and have a diverse range of questions. THE CHASE gives me all that and more in spades. I have barely been able to put it down since I got it. Don’t let the multiple choice format fool you - you’ll get questions that you might see on any international version of the show (depending on your Chaser). Go in, have fun, and kick butt!
Pay to play
Won’t even get into the look feel and play of the game since after about 10-15 minutes of the initial stages once in the tutorial you can no longer play unless you wait a long or start spending money. Don’t bother. I wish it weren’t so. Love the show, I was hoping to like it. Not possible when you can’t play much without paying.
Freezing now after the update
I do love playing this game. It is very challenging. I had an update so I did it but now it’s freezing constantly
Eurocentric to the extreme
At least 75% of the questions are for European players, especially with questions about sports, the arts, royalty and history. American players will be reduced to guessing most of the time.
Very nice game! Could be better
This game is good. There’s some stuff that could greatly improve this though. The good stuff is: I watch this game show all the time and I absolutely love it. | I’m actually learning a lot from this game because it generates unlimited questions of all topics of trivia. | I absolutely love the cases, milestones and all that. | The bad stuff is, IM LITERALLY PLAYING AGAINST A COMPUTER WHOSE IQ IS NOTHING LIKE THE CHASERS IN REAL LIFE!!! WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT THAT HUH???! | Also, why not make a Croatian Chaser case (like the USA, UK and Australia) that gives pieces of all Croatian chasers, not just the Undertaker. If you’re not gonna do that, why not just remove Croatian chasers completely from this app especially since they don’t speak English in real life. | Chase win rate doesn’t matter as long as the player’s good so why not just take that out, and the amount of games played against the chasers too? | Also please change the music & audio to the USA 2021 ABC version, not the music & audios in the UK . Thx for reading this review and hopefully I’ll see these changes :)

OMG I LOVE BEING ABLE TO PLAY AGAINST THE CHASERS ITS LIKE IM ACTUALLY BEING IN THE STUDIO DEFINITELY WORTH IT
Mandatory loot box opening
Game won’t let me proceed without opening a loot box. Opening the game opens me into the loot box interface and won’t let me proceed further. I dislike mandatory UX flows and just wanted to disable notifications. Since I can’t reach the main screen, I’ve deleted the game.
Good,but need subtitles
That’s a nice game, But I think that for the game to become more popular in non-English speaking countries, I think subtitles are necessary, because there are some sentences I honestly can't translate.
Not even like the real chase Game Show app
I’m a big fan of the regular chase ultimate but I can’t even play this app because it uses gold every single time And gameshow network got rid of their American version and buying the chase powerpoint s names by credit card.
Too many ads!!!
The game is fun but there are 30 second ads between EVERY round. In 10 rounds I lose 5 minutes of my life that I don’t get back. I’d keep playing for 5 seconds ads but I’ve burned after 2 weeks.
Loving The Chase World Tour
I’m really loving The Chase World Tour. I’m a huge fan of The Chase & this game is just like the game show. I love that the battles are just like the Beat the Chasers game show. Anyone who is a fan of The Chase needs to play this game. It’s so much fun.
Bad update
Today’s update has made progress unbelievably slow. Very difficult to earn player XP, chaser XP, and case coins compared to yesterday. Energy makes it feel like a standard microtransaction heavy mobile game. The option to pay was always there, just never too badly in my face. Now it’s your standard pay to win.
Too bad I’m not British…
I have been playing this game for a couple of months and am enjoying it. My biggest complaint is that a LOT of questions are very British oriented! A lot of sports questions about soccer and cricket, British geography, and British history. Maybe these are things I would know if I grew up and were educated in the U.K. but it just feels unfair. I have read other reviews and others have complained about this as well, but the response always seems to be that these questions have somehow slipped through and should not have been included, but that doesn’t stop these questions from ruining the game. I don’t want to have to guess at who won a British soccer league championship in 1965 anymore please!
Mid game for non-UK players
It was an alright game to watch on TV but the app is definitely a money-grab (which is what I wanted to avoid when playing a game).) And if you’re not from the UK or Europe you’ll have more than the intended amount of difficulty answering questions as most of them are related to things specific to British culture. I’ve never seen a cricket game in my entire life but I’m supposed to know who led some team back in 1964? Once you unlock most/all of the regular characters you’ll just be competing for “pieces” to unlock cases to give you more “pieces” for characters you’ve already leveled up to the max. Their new battle feature worked well at the start but then they intentionally made the computer players assisting you take longer than 5 seconds to answer questions so now unless you’re answering all the questions yourself you’ll lose. What’s the point of using the computer players on your team if they’re useless? Also, every time you reach a new city it costs you exponentially more in game money to buy the cases they sell in the store. This leaves you to play more “chases” which uses more “energy” and since you don’t get enough to play 5 games in a day (to complete your daily goals) you need to spend real money to buy energy. Like I said, it’s a money grab. I communicated with the game developers about my multiple concerns. They responded by offering me an insultingly low amount of game energy credits and assured me of changes they’d be implementing “soon”. Well, not soon enough. 2/5 stars.
They don't want us to play
With the way money and the timers work it's almost like they don't want people playing this game.. Very confusing business practice
New Update Is Awesome
I really loved the new update of the game!!! It’s wonderful how we get to promote chasers of our own at a maximum of 7 Red Stars because I’ve had the most chasers, 7 chasers to be exact at 7 Red Stars. I really enjoyed it!!!
Game does not load
The bar appears but stay at 10% and only stays there. I could even start the game
Interesting ideas
Always been fascinated with The Chase World Tour, for the past two years, since it’s one of my favorite trivia shows on television, or in the world. When it comes to playing this app, there should be a way to increase the amount of Gold to buy (instead of 1,200 Gold at $9.99, why not 2,000 at $9.99), as well as have a set of choices for how much amount of Energy to buy, as well, rather than either 200x or 1,000x. Just an idea.
I just want a simple game
I didn’t come here to level up, collect, or whatever added game mechanics they put in here. I just want to play a full game of “The Chase” and it randomly picks whatever Chaser like the TV show does. Why make this difficult?

Spending too much energy
I know several people have made this complaint and I’m gonna reiterate it. It is a little ridiculous to spend 50 energy to play the final Chase a second time if you lose the first. But then bumping it from 50 to 100 for the third time if you lose the second chase that’s highway robbery. Energy does not come very often unless it’s 15 minutes each.. The amount of energy to play the final Chase needs to stay at 20 for all three or however, many times you lose the final chase going from 20 to 50 is bad but going from 50 to 100 is extremely unbelievable.. This needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed NOW!!!
Timer Still Runs When I Pause
I love the new update. I’ve noticed that when I swipe up to pause the game, the timer still runs during the Cash Builder and Final Chase. Can you fix that and allow the timer to stop when a player pauses the game?
The game is great but needs the option to play in landscape or portrait

I have been watching the Chase with Sara Haines and I love playing with some good chasers around the world. I am also a huge fan of James “The High Roller” Holzhauer.
Great thinking game!
I played the original Chase and this version had a lot of thought put into it. Plays smooth, lots of rewards, and ads are only as frequent as you win, or choose to watch for energy to play. The amount of British questions is frustrating, and cost that 5th star. But I suppose it is available worldwide, so I grit my teeth and say, “Bollocks!”
A Quality App
Great visuals, runs smoothly, appropriately challenging questions. Has all the elements of The Chase TV experience. There is a lot going on though, with different game elements and offers. Ads are not too intrusive, and if you buy an offer for as little as $1.99 - Ads go away.
I like it but…
I’ve been playing this game since before it became a world tour thing. I absolutely love the game, however, I’ve noticed most of the questions are from old times. I feel like you should add a lot more modern day questions because all the questions target the old times and I’m not asking you to take the old timey questions off but it should be an even amount between modern and old timey. I also feel adding more general knowledge questions rather than history would make this game a lot more fun but still challenging
Best quiz app ever
I love The Chase and this app is awesome! Keep the updates coming and I can’t wait to obtain The High Roller and Supernerd! Wish Goliath and Professor were on the app too.
Good game, but give the people what they want
This game is fun and enjoyable, being able to play the game in a realistic version in America is relieving after however many years ago the last one was made. I just wish we could get an app like “The Chase Ultimate Edition” with the US Chasers and setup. There’s no point of making an American version of this game without an American version of “Ultimate Edition”. Many people who got this app likely didn’t want to have to wait so long to play cash builders and the final chase. Give the American fans of The Chase what they want!

This game is unbelievable fun and is an amazing representation of the game on tv. However, I believe that the final chase shouldn’t cost gold in order to play and cash your banked money. For anyone wondering, gold is the prime currency of the game. Other than that, it’s a fun game.
