If I could give zero stars, I would
Everything is all well and good until you have a problem. Then. you realize the flaws in the system. There is no way to personalize notes. The app might go through an upgrade and all of a sudden, you have problems with your template. But worst of all, sometimes you lose your documentation. The latter is the position I find myself in as I try to recreate my clinic. I dont even have my handy notes to help me because I put my trust in this technology. And worse, there is no one to call an help! All they have is a bot that directs you to form articles that do not help with the matter at hand. So disappointing. Never again. I am closing up all my remaining documentation, and will be on the hunt for something else. I hear Heidi might be the way to go.
Not ready for clinical use yet
I really wanted Freed to deliver what it promises, but it misses in a big way. The notes are very poorly structured at the end of your visit. It is especially problematic in the assessment and plan section when you are left with a massive list of problems that the patient mentioned, and other conditions that were barely referenced in your conversation. I found myself taking 10 minutes to edit the freed note when it would’ve taken me five minutes to compose it on my own.
Battery Drain
I was great until the recent update - The battery drain on the most recent version has been rather significant. I used to be able to make it through my ENTIRE clinic on my brand new iPad with over 60% of battery remaining, and now I can barely make it through one HALF of clinic with 50% remaining. I have uninstalled the app and rebooted my iPad with no success to stop it.

The new update is terrible and makes using the app much more complicated. I am exploring other options.
I cannot get it to work on M2 macbook air
The app works great in my iphone and two intel macs, but I cannot get it to work in Safari or the Freed app on the M2 macbook air. Freed ai scribe works with firefox on the web site. I've asked freed and they don't have a solution.
Glitchy
Great when it works. Haven’t used in a while due to just white screen on the iPad and iPhone. Tech support just asks for a screen shot with no other help
Very useful
Very good AI scribe. I’ve used several primarily for precharting and this one has been the best overall. Only downside is cost, especially as newer free versions are becoming available
Great price, falls short on performance
Great price. But significantly deficient in capturing everything that you say to the patient in the assessment and plan or medical decision-making. For example, if I mention the etiology of the patient’s problem, it always fails to scribe this information. It only scribes brief bullet points. This is by no means a complete solution.

Works ok until it doesn’t and your whole note doesn’t exist after an hour long visit.

Not working
App helpful but now it’s not working. Cannot get into the app to collect data is frustrating and no one to contact. Did I mention the app is not cheap? If I cannot open the app I will definitely cancel and find another app.
Best app aver
As a non-native English speaker, I previously spent 3-4 hours charting, which was physically and mentally taxing. Fortunately, I save time I have Spanish-speaking patients, and the app seamlessly supports multiple languages. I highly recommend this app to anyone seeking to save time and effort in charting. Great for providers
Love it
This technology is awesome. I feel so…freed up to focus on my patients and let the app capture our conversation. My notes are much more comprehensive and I’m extremely impressed with how it captures and organizes everything we talk about, even when we’re speaking in Spanish!

Incredible technology. Easy to use. Saves me an hour per day. Cheaper if you subscribe on their website
Game changer
For me this has been a game changer. Extremely simple user interface. IMO better speech recognition than dragon medical which I will abandon now. Very fast learning curve. Makes the generation of notes extremely fast and easy. But at the end of the day it all depends how you want to put things together and how complex you want your note to be. I personally just go to the summary and my edit takes maybe 1-2 minutes for the final note. I get to go home again after my office and spend time with my family instead of charting.
Game changer
This is lifesaving and frees me to listen and care for my patients. I can use my phone or my computer…AMAZING!!! My CMA and I named our AI friend Dottie…she’s one of the team! 😉
