What people like
- Easy to use on the go
- Good news and puzzle content
- Helpful community and tips
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Text size stays too small
- Fuel prices link often broken
Easy to navigate
This app is so easy to navigate through to find what you are looking for and combines all of my favourite articles, competitions and news in one convenient place.
Hopeless App
I was hoping for a very simple app that listed the discounts available with a search function that would allow for you to search by category and then location instead it has information unrelated to discounts for seniors clogging it up none of which I need if they want to have that information available it should be in a separate app.
Good App with handy information
Good App with lots of news and handy information. Unfortunately the fuel prices link on this app has not been working of late. Will be great if this issue can be fixed as this is very handy to find cheaper fuel when needed.
Not great
A clunky app which does not save preferences. Looks like it was designed in the 90’s
SDC Club
The SDC club is excellent with interesting news and other information. It’s great and very worthwhile to join it.
Thank you
Thank you for your ongoing information on such a wide selection of news. I’m enjoying every newsletter 🥰
Adfest
Opened the app, ads everywhere and even processed meat. Very bad.
Seniors discount App
Great app the information provided each day is great and the dad jokes are always a laugh. Cheers John
Basically an infomercial webpage.
Sounds great and there is some useful information but once you start “surfing” the app, you are directed to off-app sites that more often than not, request your email etc. Then of course you will be flooded with emails. All the usual dodgy “you really can’t live without this….” adds are scattered throughout the “app” and third party sites. Try but don’t sign up is my advice.
Clickbait & scare tactic headlines
Mixed in amongst some vaguely useful information are a lot of clickbait headlines (‘These Aussies could save….’ which only apply to one state) and disguised links to personal information grabbing advertisements. Also a lot of ‘the sky is falling’ scare stories playing into seniors insecurity. I’ve not seen one actual discount I could use yet.
SDC App
Easy App to use and great results , no issues found
Nothing useful
Nothing usable for poor seniors only the one that don’t really need discounts
Great app for seniors
Fun, insightful, informative & inspirational ….a great forum to engage with others
Terrifyingly buggy app
Basically a scam app. They know it, they’ll make excuses for it, but it is. Any app that forces you to receive notifications is disgusting.
Great informative app!
The app is so much easier to access and keep up to date with all the happenings around. It’s clear and easy to read and access other links. Will enjoy using it!
Love the Idea just needs some tweaking
I just downloaded the app and love this idea to use on my IPhone. However I do use a larger text size on my iPhone ( so no need for glasses) but the app changes so I can’t see the temp etc. Maybe if we can edit what we want to see on the homepage might help? Great idea to have an app
My go to App on the road
I downloaded this app when it first came out. I love it because I can still keep informed without having to open my laptop I love the fact that I can have all the information , games and jokes while travelling Thanks for giving us the chance to stay in touch while moving around
Review
Very helpful site and informative
Great app
This is a very easy way to engage with the daily newsletters, read articles, do puzzles and enter competitions using your phone for those times when you cannot access the computer. Larger screen and keyboard on the computer is handy for “old eyes” and “fumbly fingers” but the app is certainly very handy and allows you great access, especially on the go.
Seniors Discount Club
Useful app, friendly community, lots of tips and news, competitions, discounts.
margmck
