Love the game but miss the OG…
I played the original bts world game A LOT so I was happy to see that they were bringing it back but rlly I miss the old one :(. I liked the phone calls, text messages, and social media posts you could do and like how the stories were separated into sections so there was the main story and the other universe stories. I think the BTS Land part in this game is cute and I like the member room aspect as well but I just don’t get why they couldn’t add that aspect to the og…? Also I feel like this game cut down on the storytelling aspect and focuses more on like the battle aspect which makes me sad cuz I noticed it removed a lot of the story that was in the og and also annoyed because why do I have to do 10 consecutive battles WITH NO STORY just to do like one second of story. ALSO I don’t like how the storyline is written like chat boxes…? And the letters are weirdly cut off so it just looks odd. Also this might sound weird but I feel like the OG mechanics were smoother…idk if that makes sense. Anyways I’ll still play this game bc I love it but I miss the og SOOOOOO much it’s kinda insane how much I miss it.
Not nearly as good as the original!
I absolutely loved the original and played it daily (also spent tons of money on it!!). I was so peeved when they ditched it. I tried playing 2, its just not the same. I played for a few days spent nothing and forgot about it…that’s how un captivating it is. Not sure what they were thinking when they ditched the original but IMO it was a bad idea to get rid of it. 🙁

I miss the original…
The content is the same, but the experience is not; I miss the interactions you’d get from the cards… the little phone calls, the stories…. So far this has been disappointing. All stories are like chats now, pretty much, there’s not new content as of yet (or even the old one that wasn’t used). Everything is recycled and not in a better way than it was before. The game is also super laggy and slow, and too expensive! Sure, lots of things you get for free, which is nice, and you can absolutely play it without any purchases. But the thing is, I’d actually buy some In-Apps if they weren’t THIS expensive. $70 for some diamonds? Come on… I can buy like 3 physical albums with that and get real photocards. But for inapps in a game that crashes and lags? Absolutely not. Don’t understand the point of Member Rooms here and improving the relationship, as it gives nothing apart from some diamonds (not even a lot of them either) Another thing: too much is going on at once, it’s hard to keep track of everything, and it’s not fun to play anymore. Also the lack cohesive alternative universe stories is a big downgrade from the previous versions. The way they’re scattered all over is annoying.

As a longtime fan of BTS World, I was excited for the release of Season 2, hoping for a fresh yet equally heartfelt continuation of the original. Unfortunately, while the game still delivers gorgeous visuals and some charming BTS moments, it doesn’t quite capture the same magic that made the first season so special. The original BTS World was immersive and emotionally engaging, with a well-developed storyline that made fans feel truly connected to each member’s journey. In contrast, Season 2 feels more like a collection of loosely connected mini-stories and events. The narrative lacks the emotional depth and cohesion that made the first game so memorable. Gameplay also takes a hit. Where Season 1 struck a great balance between story, card collection, and interactive elements, Season 2 leans too heavily on repetitive tasks and in-app purchases. It feels more like a grind than a journey. Overall, BTS World Season 2 is a decent follow-up, but it doesn’t live up to the emotional storytelling, originality, and charm of the first game. Fans may still enjoy it for the visuals and BTS interactions, but the original remains unmatched.
Lost progress
The game is a lot of fun, but when I downloaded the most recent update, I lost all of my progress. This was very disappointing, especially as I had made in-game purchases and had reached level 34. I cannot sign back in for some reason.

the gameplay is bad
the btsland and resource gathering is tiresome and boring, the actual gameplay is infuriating because of the "assist" system aka the game has ur weak cards take all the damage potential. it also scales extremely unfairly with the challenge of getting a level done w a certain amount of health or moves left when you get keep getting shafted by the horrible assist system and bad luck.
Like it but wish for more
The good : there’s lots to do in this game, so you could be entertained for a while. But, I agree with other reviewers that I miss the member phone calls, messages and storytelling of the original btsworld.

i remember playing season 1 as a baby army. and when it got removed from the app store, i was devastated. but then today i saw an ad for bts world. i thought it was just an old ad. but i still clicked on it, and im so glad i did. i realized it was new. i immediately went to the app store and searched bts world up. when i saw this app, i almost sobbed. i’ve never downloaded an app so fast. once i got in, i did start shedding a few tears. im in chapter 2 right now and im just so obsessed with this game. and ive already spent a wee bit of money on it… anyways, if you love bts, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!!

ランドをプレイすればバトルが疎かになりバトルをプレイすればランドが疎かになる😭しかもランドに行った時だけスマホがとんでもなく熱くなりバッテリーがイカれてしまうんじゃないかと気が気でない‥やる事も多いし情報量も多すぎるのでは❔負担軽減してほしいです😅
Original is so much better
I was so excited when I heard that this game has a season 2 because I was devastated when they decided to take the original down. But tbh I didn’t like it , the design is too much a lot going on at the same time and I really miss the interaction with them (where are their posts ㅠㅠ)
Not the same as the original game, fun but laggy!!
While I have had fun playing this, it is extremely overcomplicated. I was a big fan of the original game and it seems like a rehashing/edit of the first game rather than a “season 2.” I’m sad that they took out a lot of the fun of the original stories, as well as the mobile phone feature. I’m not a fan of the “BTS Land” concept, it seems completely unrelated to the story and unnecessary. The “Timekeepers” too! A lot of us who loved the original game hated the card draw system and honestly feels like they took none of our complaints to heart and made it even worse here. I must have spent like $500+ on the original game and my 5 star collection was still not good enough to let me advance in the game past a certain point. I am already facing the same challenges in the new game. On top of that, it feels unfinished to me. The game is extremely laggy and clicking anything results in the animation or video stuttering plus a loading symbol. It takes forever to do anything because of the lag. Drawing shards is so boring because it takes several minutes each time. I thought at first it was just because I started playing right at launch time, but the lags persist. I think this one needs to go back to the drawing board!! Bring back the simple charm of the old game, please.
Absolutely Obsessed
I was deeply in love with the first BTS World and was devastated by its loss. Then Chapter 2 came out and OMG, it is AMAZING. You still get to relive the original story which has been so nostalgic, but there are so many new things to do as well! Having an animated lobby with the members is so adorable, plus you get to customize rooms for them! There are so many original cards alongside a bunch of new ones. One of my favorite parts is BTS Land where you build a little themed city and get to place cute little creatures in it. You can also visit friend’s!! There are lots of free opportunities to get gems and items, but the paid gifts are hugely worth it too. This has already become one of my all time favorite mobile games!! If it’s this good now I cannot wait to see how it grows!!! 🥹💜🥰
Not impressed
Its’s flashier than the first one, but it’s the same pictures from 2017-2018 for the most part with a few new ones tossed in. Even the same backgrounds during the chats as the first game. Same with the side stories. Underwhelmed.

It’s pretty cool, a little difficult to adjust too but it’s fun!!! I’ve been an army for 9 years (despite being 15 lol) it’s sooo cool to play games associated to BTS
Lags make impossible to play
The game itself is like a 2-in-1. You can focus on the card aspect for the story telling or you can focus on the btsland ‘farming’ aspect. You have to do both to level up, but you can choose which part of the game to play in the moment or switch between the two. I love all the details. The only reason I’m giving this game a 2 star review right now, is because it is so laggy it’s almost impossible to play. Stop updating and adding new themes when the existing content is already struggling to function within the framework of the game. Cookie Run Kingdom is proof this app *could* work, but you need to focus on why the game keeps freezing and loading every 2 seconds.

This game is so fun! I’m already addicted! As an ARMY of 5 years, I’m so happy that I get to play this. The only critique I’ll give is that the grammar in the story part in Sowoozoo bad, and I wish I could have more control on my responses to them as their manager. Being able to type out a custom response would make the game feel more immersive and personal. Thank you BTS. I adore you!🫰🏾
Very disappointed
I don't put in any effort at all. I think this games made just to make money are not as fun as before. There are not many elements of BTS, and the previous ones could be interactive and video call, etc.Previous game versions had more plot twists and provided a better understanding of the challenges faced by BTS's debut.
BTS World s2 12/22/24
The game is so much fun. It’s a lot different from the first BTS WORLD. The graphics are so cute and colorful. I have only one problem. It lags for me quite a bit, which takes away from the experience.
Laggy to the point of unusable
I loved the first season and tbh I really love this season and the new features too. BUT it’s laggy when pressing anything: tabs, between lobby and land and sowoozoo, when going through cards to level up, when checking inbox, everywhere. I’m taking a break and hopefully it’ll be better after a while. A bit disappointed rn tho.

The overall style of the game is more beautiful than original BTSWORLD, and the new BTSland function can also interact with BTS members in the lobby, which I think is very meaningful!But I am not satisfied with the point,Why do you want to remove the ability to see what they post? I think it's a very interesting thing to see them interact and they reply to me. Also, the plot is too short. I feel like I've been beating the bad guys in it🥶

I cried when I saw BTS World was back. I cried harder with disappointment because this is not what I wanted. I played BTS World more than any app, spent more in-game than any app. It was nice, please, simple, and relaxing. This game, it’s like they said “how complicated and overstimulating can we make this game in the first five minutes?” I just wanted the old game back. I quit this after two levels. “Tap here to learn more about Time Stealers.” No. I just want simple BTS card game with different outfits and video calls and to not have to think too hard while playing a game. I had to try to remember ten different things on the first level. The mechanics are completely different. I just don’t like it. Big disappointment.
Please improve the game!!!
