Unable to cancel subscription
I have tried to cancel my subscription for several days now. I immediately get an ‘unsuccessful’ notice. Not sure if this is a highly unethical method to ensure that people are unable to cancel or shockingly poor programming. I have tried the helpline without success too, as they refer me to the app to cancel, which conveniently has a ‘broken’ link

Insincere management of rewards competitions
What happened to the F1 experience competition that closed end of October? Now there is a new one loaded. I had over 160 entries. The message was winners will be announced in Feb 2026. I’m not saying I would have won but rewards competitions at least this one , DStv does not seem to be transparent about. There’s a new one loaded , who are the winners for the recent one? why are winners not loaded on the app. This is the second year this happens where winners for F1 are not announced. Can we even trust that all these rewards competitions are real? Or it’s a pretense for internal funded trips disguised as rewards competition? Just wondering. Waiting to see if I’ll even get a response on this comment.

Kicking me out of DStv rewards
I’m a PRM subscriber, however each time I open my DStv app, it prompts me to join rewards although I’ve already joined. I’ll have to sign out completely and sign back in which is nonsense really. Please update your systems for the app, it’s absolutely frustrating

I’ve been using this app on my iPhone for about two years now and unfortunately I’m not impressed. It is consistently buggy, very slow and I regularly have to close it down to get it to work, especially for Rewards. I’ve just upgraded to the latest version and now all I get is the circle of death and a message that says “Please be patient as we are finalized your request” No idea what “request they are referring to, just trying to open the app!!!

There is no place i can find how many days remaining on my package. You used to have this on the previous app
BACKDATING A SUBSCRIPTION
Whenever I subscribe my DSTV after delaying for a day or two, it backdates to the date I should have subscribed. So instead of 31 days, my viewing time is shorter. Especially for February that was 28 days. I paid same price so it’s only fair that I get my 30 days moved up. Due to this inaccuracy, the prices I had originally locked in for is no longer available to me and has caused me such distress to incur additional costs. Please look into this matter. My demands: 1. My 31 days should be calculated and I should get complimentary extra days that will reflect on my subscription. 2. The date I subscribe should be reflected on my package so 30 days later can be its expiration 3. My locked in price should be restored Thanks in anticipation
