No follow up
Thank you for creating such a great app — I’m really enjoying using it and would love to use it more to help singles. I do have a few suggestions that I believe would improve the experience: 1. There’s currently no follow-up after I set someone up, so I have no way of knowing whether the match worked out. It would be very helpful to receive feedback or updates so I know whether to continue pursuing a match or explore other options. 2. As a matchmaker, it would be beneficial to have access to users’ phone numbers (with their consent) so I can communicate with them directly, better understand their needs, and coach them throughout the dating process. 3. New matchmakers may find it difficult to create and grow a group. Asking them to set up singles within their group isn’t effective if they don’t yet have members. It would be helpful to provide tools or support to help matchmakers build and grow their groups. 4. Requiring more detailed information on singles’ profiles would make it easier to create meaningful and compatible matches. 5. It should be easier to search for people by location. Many users are not willing to travel far, and currently the location feature on the setup screen does not seem to work properly. 6. The learning curve is fairly steep. Adding short training videos or tutorials would make it much easier for new users and matchmakers to get started. Thank you so much for considering this feedback!

Matchmaker
I wish I could write to the people I set up, not only when I set them up.
Too Expensive
I pay $30 and I get to unlock 1 group for 1 hour. Makes no sense. But it’s a good app.
Blocking people not allowed
I emailed Loop several times about someone I had a really bad nonconsensual experience with who kept trying to request me on the app. They don’t allow you to block people on the app so every few months for over a year I’d get a request from him to add me. I emailed several times explaining the situation and even emailed the founder directly about it (got her contact through a friend) and I only ever got one response from the team. Horrible experience.
Needs improvement when it comes to messaging people.
I love everything about Loop except for the fact that the messaging is way limited. You can’t message people you want to set up more than once.
Only works if you pay
Since the update which included the new paid subscription of $20/month, the app has been pretty unusable. You can’t set up your loop with your loops’ loops. They did add a necessary feature of being able to message the matchmakers- but it’s also only available if you pay. What’s the point of still being on the app if you can’t use it?
Lack of established filters and premium
The App was better with open friend search but the premium version is okay in my opinion but priced to high and really gate keeps potential matches; also there should be more options for people who are out of network to be able to find each with either random everyday post or at least a free day like Friday’s where it’s encouraged to make match’s
Best app to meet like minded people
It’s what a dating app should be. Here you meet with people you can get a reference. No random, far more quality that other apps.
Terrible now
This app used to be useful in requesting matches and setting others up. Now with the premium features in effect that apply restrictions to introduction requests or setting others up it defeats the purpose of using it at all. I’m seeing way more people using WhatsApp groups instead at this point. This app also lags a lot. Takes a while to launch and load profiles. I initially wanted to give this review 3 stars but the more I wrote I just can’t stand using this app anymore. It’s become useless

The filters could be more user friendly; I would appreciate if people were required to leave a description that is at least 20 words long.

Good app if people used it regularly
I really like the concept of this app! The one major issue to me is that you don’t know if someone is an active user when you try to set them up with either yourself or someone else. I wish they could add a line on people’s profiles showing last log in date or something similar. Or maybe make a person’s profile inactive if they haven’t logged in for six months? Also wish that set up suggestions that are several months old that neither person responded to would disappear instead of clogging up my set ups list for all eternity. I think these adjustments would make the user experience even better and help make more matches, which is the intention of the app
There absolutely needs to be chat capabilities
You need to be able to speak to other non singles in the app. Makes no sense that you cant. Kinda ruins the whole app. You just added groups. How is thyat going to help if peer to peer apps are based on word of mouth. People cannot do that at all within the app. Please implement this Its so simple

I’ve made multiple successful matches through this app but now it limits the matchmakers to just 3 suggestions per day.
Decent, Should Add More Functions
I think you should be able to save your preferences so you don’t have to reset it everytime you look at someone’s connections. Also, you should be able to auto-filter based on people you’ve already asked an intro for before so you don’t waste time looking at them again.
Need to communicate in app
The very sketchy amount of details makes it hard to set up ppl when you know one side well but not the other single. If I’m going to be taken seriously I need to earn trust, which means I need to speak to or message the single I don’t know as well so I can “speak” for them to the single I know better that I’m trying to hook up. Make sense? Especially because the app itself most singles put in very limited details.

Amazing app! Just be careful as I have had a few scammers try to match with me … never send money, gifts, etc.
Got so much worse
Used to love this app. My roommate even started dating her boyfriend though my setting them up on this app. They eventually broke up (for unrelated reasons). Now with the new update, I can’t set friends up with ‘friends of friends’. Can only set them up with other people I know personally. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app. Now I can’t set her up with new people. And I can only set up 3 people a day. What’s the point even? I’m not going to pay as a matchmaker who is married for a dating app. Back to tinder and hinge for her I guess
Loop improvements
The only issues on loop as a shadchan is that I cannot write or get in touch with any singles that I set up. This is a huge problem!

Wow. For years I was looking for something like this. There is nothing better then introduction thru a human being a true person that happened to know both sides. The accountability of this person and their recommendations elevates the success factor dramatically.

This app used to actually be great until they got ridiculously money hungry. Using this without paying the astronomical price is almost pointless. I can’t even see the people who I’m in the same group with. Pointless app. So many people have stopped using it because of this insane price. This is a failing app. Buh bye.
Good in theory
I wish there was a better way to filter by location. What is the point of being able to filter by location if location is an open-ended question? I may want to find people in the USA, but if someone writes “New York”, I’m not going to see them.
Love the idea, easy to use
So many of my friends - particularly married women - wish it was more socially acceptable to play matchmaker. Meanwhile, most of my single friends are tired of the top dating apps and looking to be set up. Loop seems like the perfect solution. The app is easy to use - very instinctual and no bugs, but I do think there’s room for more functionality. It would be great if the app suggested matches users could make on behalf of other people using age, location, preferences, etc.
Delete the app
The app used to be better when you could see your friends’ friends or openly see members of the group you’re in. Now you have to pay for those things which is ridiculous because how else can I ask to be set up if I can only see my friends’ profiles? The whole point is to meet new people… was excited by the concept at first but it’s a waste of time 👎🏼
Good idea, needs some additional features to really shine
This is a great idea, being able to set up other people that are in your circle or other’s is a cool concept. I have a couple of improvement suggestions 1. The app changes and it is harder to find friends of friends that might be compatible with your own friends. 2. It would be nice to be able to message other non-singles to learn more about friends in their loop to see if it might work.
