Description
El Consejo Argentino de Oftalmología es la institución que representa a los médicos oftalmólogos del país. Se fundó el 19 de mayo de 1962 en la ciudad de Rosario, Argentina. Sus objetivos principales son la tutela de los intereses de los oftalmólogos, el impulso a la capacitación profesional de los colegas y la defensa de la salud visual de la población. La entidad está afiliada a la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) desde el 27 de marzo de 2013. Su sede está ubicada en Tte. Gral. Perón 1479, planta baja, ciudad de Buenos Aires.
